Here’s what consumers have asked with answers from Plenty of Fish staff and previous consumers.
I've set several messages to women who supposedly were interested. No response. Is this because I haven't upgraded?
The problem with time stamps is... a) when using the desktop site: it shows you always logged in unless you log out. B) On the app: it always shows you are logged in whenever it sends you push notifications. C) For both app and desktop: it shows you logged in when you check the email links (aka: weekly matches, someone favored you, etc). D) anytime someone mutual matches you you are shown as active. The site does try to maintain a certain level of activity to remain relevant. So it will doctor activity based on the lack of activity in your region.
All can do is agree with the sentiments listed above here POF is complete crap a waste of time and you are better off not bothering save yourself the stress, agro and money go somewhere else.
You're only likely to get responses to something like one in ten messages. And that depends on your pictures, the content of your messages, the girl you sent it to and the mood she was in when she got it. I am not aware of any price difference between men and women. You can send and receive messages and view profiles, but that's about it. The "meet me" feature is a paid upgrade but women just click it without viewing your profile and don't know who you are if you message them.
I met someone last year after separating from my wife. Divorce should be through fairly soon. We probably will marry at some point - but there's no rush. I know another couple who met on POF a year ago and it looks likely they'll get married. POF is just a way to meet. It's what you do once you've met that counts!
You should be able to make a profile with that name. I doubt anyone has it already. Should be easy with your email.
Keep on to them, contact Marcus he's in charge of what goes on with the site... He's the owner /developer of the site. If you don't get a response message again telling them you're going to make it public on fb, twitter etc what a ripoff it is and crap customer service too even if you don't. It's not what they want. Bad publicity.
Pof favors the woman over men it is a fact, they read messages and desciminate towards undesirables and poor men, and unpopular men is a fact! Phuck POF is POS
