I got a RAM and returned an item and now they are refusing to refund my money. How do I go about putting in a complaint and get my refund? Do I contact the BBB.

I think everyone in this position should start filing reports with the authorities! No reputable business treats customers like this. Get the word out on this scam company. It's the ones who give up and walk away that keeps choxi/nomorerack alive

Hi, I continued calling each day, and as of yesterday afternoon, I spoke with a person called Shaun, who was very personable and after talking to at least 5 people prior to Shaun just yesterday alone, I was told that they will issue me a check for the refund. I assured them that as soon as the cheque was received and the funds cleared the bank, I would use the RMA# issued to me, and return the items. I refused to return the items before, since I believed I would have no bargaining power. I also told them that I would call each state's Department of Consumer Affairs to report them, since they do business in all states, I would file a police report with my city police department and county sherrif's department for internet fraud, since this would be the second time they took my money and refused to refund it. I also said that it would probably make a really good personal interest story for the TV stations, about being scammed on the internet by retailers and to warn the general public about this newest company scamming the unsuspecting public. I also asked for someone who had the legal authority to talk about what legal action they needed me to take in order to resolve this matter. After requesting that I speak to the person in charge of this, they put me on to Shaun, who apologized for everyone prior to him, and assured me that I would receive my cheque. Up to this point, all others swore they had escalated the matter to their supervisor and someone would return a call, however this never happened. I will update this site, if and when I actually get the cheque and it clears the bank. I would simply suggest if you have the time, to simply harass them, politely of course, but persistently, and then follow through on your promises of filing reports. I did thank Shaun, but told thim I would never use that company again. I think all those who had no problem were fortunate, and their items that I did order were of good quality, but if you were unfortunate enough to have the wrong item shipped to you, or a defective or inferior item shipped, then woe to you, for there is no sense of principle, nor ethics, appearing to guide their business practices. Sorry this was so long, but I want to make sure that people know what to expect if things go amiss with their order. Buyer Beware certainly should be the caution here. If you are a gambler, and a good loser, then play the odds, and you might get lucky, but don't say you weren't warned, if you order after reading this.

My returned package was returned to me as well saying there was no such return address. This company is a scam and rips off everyone who buys from them. Calling the BBB may work and alert them to the complaints, but the company will just switch to another name and do the same thing to others. It is sad that so much effort to scam people is taken. Why not just sell a good product at a good price and have HAPPY customers? Those people doing the bad deed will get what is coming to them.

No that would be a waste of time. I bet they gave you a credit and want you to buy something else. About the only thing you can do is buy something else and hope you get a good product and dont ever buy anything else from them again. I went thru what you are dealing with. They will lie to you with any pause at all. They will send you a RAM with the promise to refund your money then issue you a credit instead.

If I understand, you won't return the product until they issue you a refund, is this correct? I don't know of any business that works like this & I say this because I've been a customer & ordered a number of items from NoMoreRack and they have always refunded my money as long as I returned the item within their policies & their policies aren't unreasonable. I'd recommend that you return the product w/the Return Authorization Number (RAN), and if your still within the number of days that they accept returns, I'd be surprised if you didn't get your money back. This has been my experience with them, thanks & good luck!

Keep calling them and ask for the supervisor's manager. Supervisors usually have no real authority to help with refunds, as they need a managers approval. I would also recommend getting their name(first and last plus correct spelling) and their direct extension and email. Also if they offer a refund ask for a confirmation number/email. Stay on the phone until confirmation, in writing, is received via email. In other words, keep all the notes and make sure they leave specific notes on your electronic file for future references. That way you don't have to back track if you need to place a follow up call. Most call centers are usually not in one location and sometimes different computer systems are used so these tips have helped me tremendously in the past. Hope your issue is resolved!

Speaking to a supervisor doesnt help. This is the most disgusting company ever. I would contact BBB for sure. You probably wont get a refund. You can also try to call your credit card and dispute the charge and tell them that you returned it and send them proof. That may work. Good luck!

Demand to speak to a supervisor. Tell them they cannot afford another bad review on line. Tell them you will file a complaint with BBB. If they still do not comply, go ahead and file the complaint. BBB is very fast and will contact them on your behalf to straighten out your refund. Another way to remedy this is to tell your credit card company that you are entitled to a refund and dispute the original charge on your card. The bank will immediately reimburse your money and contact NMR to hear their side. Keep on top of this and you should get your money back :)

Keep after them. They will respond eventually. And then don't buy from them again.
