Question:

Why are people from india contacting me when i havent formalised a bid they ask for a sample of my work

Answer:

Tristan L. Has given the correct answer, these who ask you for samples of your work are bidders Just like you they do not want to give you work, no they want to take your work samples to show Them to others as they are their own work samples. At scamlancer or what you call it freelancer the project get posted 3 to 5 times, here is how Mr. X post a project with budget $1500, Scammer (A) re-post similar project with a budget of $5000 so he get quick bids, and he asks for samples, Then scammer (A) bid in Mr. X project and show the samples that he took from the re-post for the same project. Scammers (A) wins the project, Since he has no idea how to do the work, then he closes the project that was with $5000 budget And reopen a new one asking the exact same thing but this time with a budget of $1,000 Now if the work is completed by any idiot then Scammer (A) will end with $500. Since he will be paid $1500 from the job owner and he will pay $1,000 to who ever will do the work. But most of the time the very same story get repeated scammer B now win the project Exactly the same way Scammer A wan it, and Scammer B re-post the project in a budget of $500 And so on and so on till last one end taking some advance and off course lots of time, and deliver nothing In which scammer B will do the same with scammer A and scammer A will do the same with the job owner, The end result the job owner will lose his time and money and get nothing. There are 13 million members in ids in number of accounts, while in actual people they do not cross 1 million The rest are repeated/duplicate ids/accounts by the very same people.

Question:

Good evening sir/madam how are you? i have one doubt... can you clarify to me please... how to get project from freelancer

Answer:

Do not think to work on this website. They are big cheats. This site is designed to pull out money from your pocket. They will ask you for one-month free registration and will require you PayPal account. Thereafter they will charge for every project irrespective of the fact that you have been working on the project or not. It seems that they themselves post such projects to cheat innocent freelancers.

Question:

Hi i would like to know more about the milestone payment how it usually work?

Answer:

1. You award your project to a freelancer (with 95÷ probability on this site that he/she is professionally incapable, if not fraud altogether 2. The freelancer ask you for a milestone (which is supposed to be kind of "deposit"). 3. You deposit your money on this site (and it says it's refundable - but there is no way you are going to get back, unless maybe if you go to Australia where this company is based and go for hunger strike outside their office) 4. You wait for the work to be done - and either the freelancer doesn't respond or shows you shocking piece of work after months). 4. You want your money back - and freelancer.com even stops replying to your emails. There is no way you will get a reply. 5. You look at your transaction/statement and find freelancer.com has been taking money automatically (without even sending you any email). There will be sort of charges you would not even have heard of e.g. deposit fee, project fee and inactivity fee etc. 6. You complain to PayPal about it - Freelancer.com blocks your account and would not even let you withdraw any money. 7. Congratulations - you have lost your money, time, efforts and most importantly peace of mind (just like me). Still want to try - go ahead with freelancer.com; -)

Question:

I am a current user of freelancer.com and i keep getting responses to my bids with the same file indicating to pay to get the work, what do i do?

Answer:

Hi Sandra, these are scams, you never, ever pay anyone to get work. When you bid for projects on the platform, it has to be a straight forward as can be. The recruiter accepts your bid and awards the project to you. Because you bid on many projects, always make sure you know which bid it is that you were awarded. Once you accept the bid, the recruiter should immediately do an initial milestone payment equal or more than the bid amount, i. E. if you charged $100 for the project, the amount deposited should be $100 or more. Do NOT go off the platform to communicate with 'recruiters' as these are people who want your hard work for free or want money from you.
