I'm on the fence about joining birchbox. I tried ipsy and so far I'm thrilled with the products and the packaging. I never pay shipping so getting free shipping was great otherwise it would be a deal breaker for me. I wasn't charged tax but tax is usually something people have to pay. Birchbox website though didn't ask me anything about myself like ipsy does. I'm concerned that upon delivery I could be opening Pandoras box as far as items are concerned. Reviewers are saying the items they receive are miniscule samples of cheap products while others are talking about receiving full size quality products. What should I expect in a first package? I read of promos to try the first month free. Could I possibly be able to try something like that?
