You can eat Protein same as Milk as a Snack, especially before Lunch it is more effective and helps in losing weight.
I personally just use proteinpulver from the store. Sure, those extras would be beneficial, but you should not force yourself. Still, you might lose a little weight less than you could.
I'm guessing you can add tofu. Maybe not legumes, because they're high in carbohydrates. Since there is a portion of the diet that calls for eating extra fat, think mayonnaise, butter, bacon, etc... what I suggest is frying tofu in butter, eating a whole avocado, maybe drinking coconut milk. Be creative, have fun. Hope I was of some help.
A: I used the whey protein from 12th day but not regularly, I sometimes made a protein shake using a little almond milk and a little plain Greek yogurt. But in the end I didn't use all my protein powder as I found I enjoyed raw veges and salad with a little protein much better...
Don't do the three week diet. I know this might sound weird because I was the author of the review above, but I seriously recommend you don't. I had the WORST yo-yo effect of 25 pounds after completing the diet because I had been SO, SO HUNGRY! Try Pound Melter by Paul Sanders, which WILL work other than the Three week diet.
You can have anything that will substitute protein but just be careful of how many carbs are in any substitutes... I personally ate and still eat lots of chicken, turkey and cauliflower etc. to get my protein...
