The shipping cost What they show on the site Is totally tricky. They charge me $393 for 2 boxes 10kg It ways more to higher 40% from standard and higher 20% from what they show on the website. Don't buy from them. I was very disappointed.

Ive made 28 purchases from Taobao to Canada using Taobaofocus from Aug 2015 to the most recent (5/5/17) after having used two other Taobao agents prior with mixed results.

Taobaofocus is not the cheapest, but Ive found their service to be fast, accurate and completely reliable without exception. Their email and chat support is useful, efficient and thorough.

Communication is top-notch. If they have even a small concern about your order, they ask before assuming and ensure that what you are receiving is what you ordered, providing clear photos of the order for approval prior to final boxing. And Ive *always* received the discounted price when offered by the seller although I did once have to use the adjusted price section provided by Taobaofocus due to a discrepancy I noticed while orderingthats what the adjusted price note is there for.

Peace of mind is valuable and Im a very happy Taobaofocus customer.

Avoid, a very dishonest company.
Even thought I was sent a faulty graphics card, they would not even refund a dime to me. The card arrived very obviously damaged, as could be seen when they so call inspected it.
Now I have wasted over $200 and am furious!
Dont take risk, as you not only have the risk of dodgy sellers from there but then you have this so called company who is meant to have your back, but in end will not help. Just there to take a large chunk of there cut and then your on your own.

My first transaction is thru ems. No problems whatsoever. Delay only on the customs. Items shipping is high.

So we decided to use forwarder to Philippines. YET their local shipping fee is still damn high for local shipping fee tianhe district, guangdong to huizhou, guangdong. Which is 2 hours away from their warehouse. They charged us 53 usd for LOCAL SHIPPING FEE within china. For 2 BOXES wiighing 9.5 kg each. They fckin separated this without informing the client.
We check thru YTOEXPRESS and SF EXPRESS LOCAL SHIPPING FEE for 10kg box is 9usd only on their website
Avoid this company. Really disappointed with transacting with them. My items is not yet with us its been 2 months and its still in china for 2nd transaction

Poor customer service, demands overpriced shipping costs and poor tracking of the packages. It is better not to do business with this company.

Purchased a bulk of items and they canceled my items and then refused to refund scammers stay away have reported them to cc who agreed.

I saw other people saying not to buy from another website that's infamous for overcharging you, so I decided to use tbfocus since the items were seemingly cheaper. Unfortunately they get you with the shipping. The shipping calculator on their site? Yeah, just go ahead and double or triple the estimate they give you. You'll have no idea just how much the shipping price will be though till you've already placed an order and its arrived to their warehouse so you're locked in unless you want to spend time arguing with customer service who will just tell you it's because of COVID or because your items are "irregular" that the shipping is so high. (Don't ask me what's so irregular about a shirt and a skirt) Don't worry though they'll offer to reduce the shipping cost by giving you the cheapest shipping option that you already had opted into that's still incredibly overpriced. If you want to ask for a refund though be prepared for them to not refund the shipping cost to mail your items back to the seller, god only knows how much that would be. Your best bet would then be to file a dispute on PayPal and wait or to bite the bullet and just pay these scammers. All this to say, I will not be purchasing from them again.

They are a purchasing agent that facilitates international shipping. For this service, they charge a hefty 10% commission - which is fair, as they are upfront about this fee and the user can choose whether they wish to utilise their services or not.

However, this is where the experience goes downhill. Once you purchase your goods, they start adding extra fees. Some small, some huge; and you will be in for the shock of your life when you see the international shipping fee! To send via DHL from China to the UK; they were quoting 4x the normal, quoted amount... for a 6.5kg box, £800+! Having shipped a range of goods from China before, this is daylight robbery. They would not budge on this quote despite us visiting DHL directly for quotes and attempting to organise shipping ourselves. They hold you at gunpoint; they have your goods, they have your non-refundable commission. They will do everything they can to make more money out of you and they can as there is no legal support with international transactions. The only saving grace is the option to pay via PayPal, however claiming your money back is a hassle in itself and they tactfully attempt to delay support/quotes (etc.) until the 30 day grace period expires.

The customer service is rude and unhelpful. You get absolutely nowhere with them. Our story ended with 15+ reluctant conversations with their customer service, a £50 fee to just pick up the goods via another agent (TipTrans) and 2 months of our time. Don't make the same mistake, use another agent such as TipTrans - they take less commission, are more reputable and are easier to work with!

I bought a lot through taobao, but recently their services are so horrible, they make mistakes you pay, seller make mistakes you pay, we pay 10% for their service, but they dont care they dont provide professional service, either they get more professional or they will lose all their clients

I made one purchase through TBF and it went well. Overpriced as i found later but that was my problem. Found another item that my goto agent could not source. Went to TBF and they were way more expensive but I needed the parts. The shipping price they came back with was ridiculous. I showed them larger items that I received for less than half the cost they were asking. They came down about 30% on the shipping so I pulled the trigger thinking this would be my last transaction with them. Shipment arrived DHL and the box looked fine on the outside.One of the two identical items was badly fractured and way beyond repair. They had packed the box with no packing whatsoever except for a 6x4" piece of foam. They said it was my fault for complaining about the shipping costs. Sent them loads of pictures and documentations and they refunded about 20% of the total price and I have no usable product. Way better alternatives and I learned my lesson with these folks. High price and poor customer service.

I used the site just fine, they do the job. The issue is the asinine exchange rate almost tacks on 25% extra compared to other agents. It adds up, since they also tack on another 10% service fee. But on what should be around 40$ I get above 50$ making there service fee almost 35%, plus whatever they are ripping you off on shipping. Not saying, they arent legit, just saying find another agent. For first time taobao buyers find another reliable service or use this one cause it does the job but expect to get ripped off quite a bit.
