I SHOULD HAVE CHECKED THE REVIEWS BEFORE I BUY FROM GiftTree. Had the same problem as other customers ordering in advance to make sure it will arrive on Christmas time. One basket arrived three days after Christmas, second 6 days later and third basket arrived 13 days after Christmas! On top of that people that received the third basket are close enough to us to send us pictures of the basket all messed up and with cheap products in it. We spent $430 for cheap snacks! The first two baskets were sent to important people to us for appreciation, we feel so uncomfortable! On Jan 2nd I called to complain about the lateness of the first two baskets and that the third basket wasn't received at all! Guy called James told me the same thing as other unhappy customers. The delivery was only for an "estimated date" and he refused to give back any refund. I asked for a refund on the third basket that wasn't received at all and he said they have to investigate with posts and he accused me of giving the wrong address. So unprofessional! He said he will send me an email. I never received an email or refund from them and later that day the basket was delivered to the right address, almost two weeks from the day I ordered it. I will never use GiftTree again!
We deeply regret the frustrations caused by the delayed deliveries and the condition of the baskets. We apologize for any discomfort this has caused, especially during such important celebrations. The expedited shipping option was strongly recommended to ensure Christmas arrival.
Regarding the initially delayed third basket, we understand your concern, and we're grateful that FedEx was able to locate and add the unit number, enabling the delivery to be completed.
In regards to your conversation with James, we're sorry for any confusion or frustration caused by the communication. We take your feedback seriously and will address this internally to improve our customer service.
As a gesture of goodwill, we'd like to offer a partial refund for the inconvenience you've experienced. Additionally, we'll be sending you a gift card via email as our way of apologizing for the substitutions made in your gift basket. We value your business and the opportunity to make this right. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we hope to have the chance to regain your trust in the future.
