I create a Kizoa slideshow of my son every holiday season for the family, all of whom live far away. I was so excited this year to see that there were new sound options of volume control, fade in/out, and crossfade. The slideshow looked and sounded great from the kizoa site itself. However, once I downloaded the MP4 as well as the ISO files, I noticed that there were audio glitches in 3 places at transitions between songs. I haven't heard back yet about that but did hear back on the issue with the Youtube upload not working, which was acknowledged as a current issue with Kizoa that they're working on vs. an issue on my end. We're now down to the wire, and fortunately, the link to the site itself is fine, and recipients of an MP4 or Youtube link that they can cast or the DVD that I'll be burning for the grandparents will have to be viewed with the FYI that there are 3 hiccups in the audio.
The two instances of sudden increase in volume during a fade out and the sudden decrease-then-abrupt increase in volume at another spot aren't incredibly awful (well, the 2nd one kinda is), but the end result was very disappointing in that respect.
Another downside is that it does seem to take a small forever to download your file from the website, which first converts it, then indicates it's ready to be downloaded. It seems to take a longer-than-expected time, and my intenet is fast. If my son wasn't turning 18 next year, and I only had one more slideshow that I plan to create for the holidays, I would probably be looking at alternatives to Kizoa at this point. It's frustrating that I've upgraded twice in the past few years to use more features, only to have the functionality and quality go downhill.
