I like to move every couple years, but have never had an issue with UPS. Every location I've lived in I have received top-notch delivery from them. I even had one UPS driver knock on my door telling me my package was damaged, he showed me and he was sending it back so that way I could get a replacement quicker than if I did it on my own and didn't have to haul it somewhere for shipping. It was a very large and heavy dog crate. I was beyond thankful for that. I've moved across country and my new UPS drivers are still just as wonderful as the last ones. They always knock on my door to let me know that I've got a package out front. And every time I open the door when they're still out there, they tell me. Hi and have a great day. They are without a doubt my go to for a shipping company. I personally use them to ship all my packages to family. That way I know it will arrive the same way I sent it out.
I generally use Lowe's compared to their competitor just because the prices always seem a little bit better. I had just purchased a new fridge before my kitchen remodel. I was not expecting my kitchen remodel to take five weeks. I had went ahead and purchased a new stove, dishwasher and microwave. The stove was delivered as they do not install gas. And the delivery guys were wonderful. Brought it in put it right where I asked them to and we're super polite. The other two however had to be delivered to the store for Installation. At this point I'm a little panicky because my kitchen is unexpectedly still two weeks out. The Installation company set up a delivery date for the day after my countertops are installed so that way, once my kitchen is done, I will have a fully functioning kitchen. I was trying to cancel the installation and I spoke with my local lowes sales manager. He told me the Installation team was absolutely wonderful and they would have no problems pushing it out. He made a note so my appliances stay there in the store and depending on my Installation this has so far been a perfect experience.
Not quite sure when Costco did this as I had always use my debit card to pay. Attempted to check out online for a pick up and card was declined. However, there's a hold on my bank account. Again, attempted to check out and card was declined with another hold on my bank account. What's going on Costco? You don't take MasterCard, but for some reason you can put a hold on my account for seven days. I really question that logic. Will be cancelling my membership after this!

I don't know if it's the area that I live in, but I've actually had deliveries placed up against my garage door. Sadly I didn't take any pictures of that delivery, I was just extremely angry at the time! Every delivery that I have dropped off by FedEx is right up next to the front of my garage. As you can see from the picture attached it's not up by my front door. UPS always delivers my packages right up next to the front door and rings my doorbell. FedEx never rings my doorbell and today I'm lucky that my packages are this close and not sitting outside my garage door. I do have the app set for notifications and funny enough it doesn't work.
Granted I do have a pretty long driveway but UPS never parks in my driveway. FedEx has no issues driving their big trucks into my driveway breaking up the cement on my driveway. The other night a package was delivered after sundown and again no doorbell. I just happen to check the tracking about 9:30 pm and see that there was a package delivered. I really wish people would give you an option between FedEx or UPS because I would always choose UPS! FedEx in my town is ran by nothing but a bunch of disrespectful clowns!
