If I could I would give zero stars for J&P Cycles. On July 28th I ordered a $200 battery from them online and had problems right from the start. First the website never emailed an order confirmation and the order did not show up on my online account. After I had a live chat with them the posted my order to the site and 2 days later it shipped. I was following tracking which should have delivered to me 2 days after that and it said out for delivery... but then it never delivered then tracking said the item was rejected and being returned to sender. So I called and spoke with a rep named Laura and her boss Joe. They told me it would be shipped out again and be at least 4 more days. I said I wanted a refund. They said that would take 14 days. I said no! I want a refund now, since they had my money from the first day I ordered but I had no battery. Finally the boss named Joe was able to promise to refund me in the next 2 days and he did. So that should be the end of the story but it's not... We decided to give them one more chance since they use to be such a great place to deal with years ago. We reordered another battery and battery keeper on Aug. 6th. It said "ships within 1 business day."
Again I got no order confirmation or reciept... it was a weekend so I did a live chat to make sure it would really ship soon, the agent was snippy but did confirm it was in stock and would ship on Monday (today) so I waited until today to check the order and the website was not showing it at all. I called and spoke with another lady named Jazz who told me the order must have been in limbo and would show on the website in my account as being ordered today and then would ship as if I ordered it today. Well I did not order it today... it was supposed to ship today because I ordered it 3 days ago. I did another live chat... that agent said they have no access to expedite shipping. I have left two messages for the boss Joe to call me so we can get this straight.
I want to say we never should have given them a 2nd chance, and we will never order from this company again. They have totally gone down the toilet from the great place they used to be just 4 short years ago.
BEWARE! Buy from somewhere else. It is not worth the hassle!
So I am still waiting to see if Joe calls me back, or if this order ships out soon. Will update after we find out. See in my photo the date that I recieved the email saying my order was processed was Aug 6th, I emailed that webpage to myself because I knew the last order never sent me a confirmation email. When I clicked on the link to see my order history today... it was not even showing this order at all.
Okay this is an update to be fair. Even though I got no call back from the boss Joe this time, someone did expedite the shipping and amazingly the second order did deliver today. So after a lot of riding them you can get them to make things right. Frankly I don't want to have to go through all of this stress just to get a company to give good service, so I still more than likely will not buy from them again and would not recommend them to my friends. But at least they did make it right this time.
