Kiev to London. But I had to fly back to Canada. Overbooking 12 persons. Never offered people to get compensation and wait. No! Everybody in the plane before LISTENING the 12 losers. Even if I said many times I would loose my fly to Canada... Yes! I was offered to go in London the day after... but too late for my flight to Edmonton (Canada). Finally I accepted a flight to Toronto 2 days after instead. Then I had to pay a last minute ticket between Toronto & Edmonton... WITHOUT COMPENSATION. Hopefully the airliner is flying to Canada otherwise it would be a last minute ticket between London and Toronto. A family of 4 from U. K. were overbooked 2 days in a row... by this airliner... and could not yet take a flight. Booking # QNWZLT; Ticket # **************

Unfortunately I think that we pay less but a part of it is to pay an extra to choose our seats or get the worst ones (middle) with no extra. No airmiles as well if we don't buy directly from the airliners. Once we are decided to buy a ticket or a room... once our data are recorded in our profile... it becomes extremely quick and easy.

I gave 3 stars as it did work good for me for about 10 renting in many countries. At that time almost all renting had ZERO excess to pay for the insurance. I even broke a car in the Canary island for about $200 and I never heard about it after (because insurances were always fully included). Now! I am worry as the ZERO excess doesn't exist anymore.

I stopped using this internet site after my last renting in Delpaso Car hire in Malaga. I paid for the full insurance but Delpaso still wanted to force me to take THEIR insurance. Worst, they tried to charge me for a cracked windshield that was broken at the time of the insurance. I said that I took pictures of it on the day of the rental then they let me go.

Others renting now as always insisting to pay for excess insurance. Before, it was included.

Now! After my last experience and all the comments here, I would not trust EconomyCarRentals anymore. It seems that it is not anymore what it was. It seems that they don't care anymore. They just want to make extra money before declaring a bankruptcy.
