Allianz is clearly unable to timely and accurately review claims. I have uploaded dozens of documents - many of them multiple times - and am still awaiting full resolution of my well-documented travel claim (over 100 days and counting). They do not respond personally nor do they return calls. It has been utterly frustrating trying to get answers or closure. My travel agent has also been completely unsuccessful communicating with them. Why sell the insurance if it's worthless? Because people don't read reviews and keeping buying crap.
Tip for consumers: Allianz seems unable to train its employees to review and discern claim documents. I have received ridiculously stupid and opaque questions and uploaded documents over and over, and still they shortpaid our travel claim because they said their policy limit is $3000 per policy --- and my policy clearly states it is $3000 per insured individual (yes, we were both insured). I submitted $2200 of cash medical receipts alone and they demanded I prove payment - still have not reimbursed us for these.
Products used: Due to medical emergency, my husband and I were able to use 4 days of an 11 day trip to the Middle East.
I purchased a $720 item from Chic Finds and they cancelled the order, raised the price by $100 and refused to honor original featured price. Tradesy let them get away with "correcting their listing" and has done nothing - including dropping the vendor - despite many emails requesting that they do so.
