I'm a disabled Veteran and my wife is getting chemotherapy for pancreatic cancer. EXPENSIVE. I contacted Ancestry during the St. Patrick's Day sale of 2022. Explained my situation and requested to buy the Full Access for one year at a price of $113.00 each. They refused, saying it's only good for one six-month renewal. It didn't matter that I've been a customer since 2012 or about my situation. They are just out for money!

Tip for consumers:
If you experience a financial hardship, don't expect any compassion.

I always get my little ranger boat service by them. This year. I was very surprised by how much it cost! Last year I paid $138.88 to get it winterized. This year it jumped to $315.00! I tried talking with the counter sales reps and they told me we usually tell people about the price. They refused to do anything about it! I even wrote the manager and there was no response. I personally will not do business with them again!

I recently bought a lift chair from Amazon unknown to me that it was coming from a 3rd party vendor. The day I got the chair. I contacted Amazon to get it returned. Since products from 3rd party vendors don"t qualify for FREE return shipping I couldn't send it back because shipping charges would be more than what I paid for the chair. I even went thru Amazon's "a to z quarantee". What a joke Amazon did nothing positive. I lost over $400.00 because of the product coming from a Third Party Vendor. Be careful we ordering large items from Amazon 3rd party vendors--You'll be stuck with shipping!

I've been with USAA for 22 years. Just recently, there was fraud on my Visa card. I called and had it deactivated and they assured me I would have a new cards within 2 to 3 days. That didn't happen! Twenty days later, I call to get a new card expedited overnight and they would not do it! This is rediculous! You would think they would rather expedite the card instead of losing a customer of 22 years! I'm now looking into changing everything from USAA.
