Chess Baron has a wide selection of chess boards and pieces from the art/luxury end to travel sets.
The company seems to be in several countries and they are easy to deal with but they do import items that are not quality assured and you may pay over the odds for an inferior set.
A lot of sympathetic back and forth but I still ended up with something that didn't match the picture and I didn't really want.

I ordered a pair of boots for our Canadian winter and while I did shop around, I ended up with SOREL because of their reputation for quality and because of the overwhelming number of 4 and 5 star (verifiable purchases) on Amazon.
I found the style and price I wanted and a little more than 48 hrs later, the delivery man was knocking on my door. I understand that the company is now owned by an American firm. Hard to know what effect this might have. Right now I have nothing but good to say about transaction. Boots haven't been tested but they sure seem well made.

I won't shop online at Walmart anymore. And I gather from the press that revenues for the company are way down and largely due to poor online sales.
You get no specific clue about when the item will arrive. They come unannounced and either dump your item, in my case a sofa in the apartment lobby, or they take it away and make you call for another delivery of indeterminate details. Not only do you have to arrange for someone to accept your parcel, but it has to be someone who can move it from the lobby or hall into your apartment. Houses might even be trickier. Too much trouble if you are spending a lot of money. Leave me out of it!

I would go along with the rest of the reviews and say stay away from this site. I tried to cancel within an hour of ordering the item and they wouldn't accept the cancellation. Next notice is 'dispatched'. When I got the item which was actually good timing, it was not the model I ordered. There was an invoice with it which turned out to be from an ebayer. I called them up and they said that what the company is doing is buying off eBay and selling for exorbitant prices. I paid 3x the cost indicated on the ebayer's invoice. And what I got was a universal adapter that weighs almost as much as my mini. So much for ease of taking places. The company won't respond to emails. The ebayerI spoke to said he was going to look into blocking the buyer.
