I wrote a very negative review about eMortgage Capital a week ago, and rightfully so. If you happen to have read that review I now want to emphasize that my bad experience was due to the poor performance of one individual at eMortgage, and that review should not reflect on other employees at that company. After I contacted the CEO, Joe Shalaby, he took corrective action with that employee and assigned someone else, Mike Barrios, to my account. Mike and his team were very attentive and aggressive in moving my transaction forward and getting it closed with what turned out to be a very acceptable outcome. It is often said that it is more telling on how a company deals with an unhappy customer as opposed to how they try to keep a customer happy in the first place. I give eMortgage Capital high marks for how they ultimately responded once I escalated the matter. I would definitely recommend you give them a chance.
