I have used EMortgage Capital. All for my last 3 loans, each time the process has gotten easier. This time I worked with Joseph. I have To say working with him was amazing. Most professional people I have dealt with. I was only able to give 5 stars. But really I would give them 10. Do yourself a favor if your looking for a loan call E Mortgage Capital and ask for either of them. Great company to work with.

Had an very smooth experience working with Joseph Shalaby. I appreciated his transparency, helpfulness, and overall did not feel under pressure at all talking to him. He made sure to explain every little detail throughout the process. I couldn't ask for a better person to work with! We highly recommend him and would definitely use his services again.

For weeks I have been telling emortgage representatives to stop calling me. They keep calling & calling. Once they get wind off my aggravation, they hang up on me. This is annoying. I'm blocking at least 5-10 different phone numbers a day from emortgage calls. I'd NEVER choose emortgage after all this. Stay clear away from this company. There's something very wrong here.

I am writing from a bit of a different perspective than many here would have. I am a Notary Signing Agent who was recently assigned to a file with a signer who was being a bit difficult. I had to call Ali to inform him of the issues I was having and the delay it was causing, potentially affecting my ability to get to my next appointment on time. His response and subsequent actions were of the highest order. He called the signer, got him taken care of and then called me right back to tell me that I could then resume the signing with a much more cooperative signer than before. Ali asked me to follow up with him afterward and when I did, he was very appreciative and just made the whole situation better not only for me, but more importantly, he was able to address the situation for the signer and get him back to a state of mind that would allow him to focus on getting the docs signed, and he did it all in just a few short minutes. This made my life a whole lot easier. Something that I am very appreciative of.
Rarely do I encounter employees at companies who are as conscientious and thorough as Ali, and who also provide such a level of personal service as he does. He is an absolute asset to your company and with a work ethic and the abilities that Ali possesses, he should be on the fast track to more responsibility. Thank you Ali for all that you do. Run! Run! WORST MORTGAGE COMPANY EVER. SAM ISMAIL IS AN UNPROFESSIONAL BRANCH MANAGER. He doesn't have a pulse on his files. Three extensions and still doesn't have answers. His loan officers are inept at best. If you're a realtor, get your buyer FAR FAR AWAY. IN MY MANY YEARS as an agent this is by far the worst I've come across. Run!
Catherine Rodas / Ethan Guirguis killed our file. Don't answer calls and don't answer calls.
Sam Ismael threatened to pull file and hostile communicator. Worst. Awful!

Won't touch E-Mortgage again on any further transactions. The team that worked the details of my refinance were good and helpful. However, the Loan Officer/Vice-President and CEO appear have other agendas. CEO seems to smile and be pleasant as he is fearful of true reviews. The most senior level of management in this business is not willing to stand behind their word. The top tier seems supportive of lies/deceit.

Got a letter in the mail claiming low interest rates. Left 2 messages and finally got a call back. After being promised for the last 5 business days my loan "should be out of underwriting today and you shouldn't need to supply additional documentation" I get a list of 6 items that need to be addressed. After looking at the list only 2 items had not been addressed from the initial intake. On top of all of these things the interest rates were much lower than they are today and now they won't lock my rate until these items have been addressed.

Messed me around for almost 2 months! Talked to me very unprofessional and belittling me telling me I had no other option... then I get a way better rate and payment elsewhere and they run my credit again and try to hold my appraisal that I paid for as long as possible!

DID NOT HONESTLY DISCLOSE THE ESTIMATED COST I WILL INCUR, BUT SHOUTED THROUGHOUT THE PROCESS ABOUT THE AMAZING CASH OUT OPTIONS AVAILABLE TO ME. DELIVERED DOCUMENTS VIA EMAIL REQUIRING SIGNATURES AND NOTARIZATION THAT NEEDED SIGNING IMMEDIATELY. THIS SET THE MENTAL ALARMS ON HIGH ALERT. REVIEWED ALL 360+ PAGES AND REJECTED/ REFUSED EVERY ONE.

MULTIPLE ERRORS ON DOCUMENTS, DISCLOSED FIGURES DID NOT MATCH VERBAL DISCLOSURES PROVIDED WHILE APPLICATION WAS IN PROGRESS,

THERE ARE HUNDREDS, IF NOT THOUSANDS, OF REVERSE MORTGAGE BROKERS AVAILABLE, PICK ANOTHER.

Joseph Shalaby was so helpful and kind! We really appreciated all the advice he gave and honest opinions! Really made sure we were comfortable and understood everything! Over all so greatful for this place and the help offered. Definitely recommend!

We did a 21-day escrow and he was quick and efficient and made the process as easy as it could possibly be, writing letters, making calls and connections, and giving us al necessary information. I would definitely use Joseph Shalaby again.

Midpoint of my loan Michael Cecero my loan rep stop all communication I had to reach out to the Manager to hear the status of the loan. I was not approved perhaps that is why the agent lost interest in communicating at all with me. I wouldn't recommend working with them.

It is now November 2nd. I started my loan process with Joe on June 11th. I have spoke to him only twice during this process. I have even emailed him to get involved many times. I have provided any requests of him and his staff with any financial information they asked for. I have worked with Nolan. Dora, Marlene and now Roger. Do you think any of them would be able to get my loan approved after almost 5 months. "NO" Updated documents have been provided to his "Underwriter" at least 3 different times. There is no follow up from anyone on his team or Joe himself. I'm the one calling weekly to see what progress has been made. If you decide to refinance you home, make sure you don't choose E Mortgage Capitol to work with. "Their TERRIBLE" "FRUSTING" "NON RESPONSIVE" "JUST PLAIN OUT WORTHLESS".

One of my best friend suggested this mortgage company to me and I proceed with this company and trust me I am very happy the way they teated me with my request. We have successfully finished our home loan with the top e mortgage company.
