I have tried three times this morning to stop a shipment from going to an old address on file at Gettington. Each time I was asked for my full social security number.
In today's environment there should not be any request like that from a company or it's service desk employees.
The service desk has told me they couldn't stop the delivery without my full social security number. They went on to tell me they needed it to unlock my account so they could stop the delivery, and without the full social they were unable to help me.
I had asked to speak to a supervisor on two of the three call this morning and never got to speak to a supervisor.
I should also note that I have received several shipments from Gettington at my new address, and I had not lived at the address that the item Getting ship the item to for several years.
The wrong shipping info was totally a Gettington's fault. I will not order anything from them again because they have not in my opinion acted in a professional manner in helping me clear this matter up.
