My husband ordered flowers for his Mother for Mother's Day. Unfortunately, he was in a hurry and did not pay much attention to the website disclaimer: Item pictured is a depiction of an arrangement that we will make as similar as possible with the same look and feel. And he did not check out any reviews.
He requested that a phone call be placed prior to delivery. There was no phone call in advance and the flowers were left outside the fence by a pillar that was not visible-in ARIZONA for almost two days! The bouquet was definitely nothing like the bouquet chosen, not the same look or feel at all, not the colors selected, and were very inferior compared to the picture.
I contacted customer service to advise them and at first he said there was nothing they could do. I pressured the rep and advised him that we had just received flowers at work that wilted after three days from a local florist, and they replaced them at no charge. I was on hold for several minutes and he offered me a $20.00 refund. I said this was totally unacceptable under the circumstances, I asked if he could send the original $100.00 bouquet that was chosen. The response was no. I said you will have to do better than $20.00. After a long hold time, he came back with half being refunded and since this was the best he could do, I agreed. The surprising part was they actually refunded the entire amount.
How can Avas flowers post on their website: known as a premium floral delivery service? And, there are no negative reviews on their website!
