I made the mistake of paying for a year membership. I signed up when they had a promotion for free golf balls if you joined. Never got the golf balls, the customer service is seriously lacking, and the codes are garbage. I first started using TeeOff at the end of 2019 or early 2020, right before they merged, and they were pretty good. I did a trial membership and I was treated well when I had to cancel for weather. I finally decided a few months ago to sign up for a full year. I never got my promotional golf balls and when I asked about them, I never got a response back. I live in a very rainy and thunderstormy area and canceling for weather is always a headache; the customer service agents are terrible. Poor service, difficult to understand, and unfortunately completely inept. I'm so disappointed, I'd cancel my membership early if it wasn't prepaid. I might still try. Worst purchase I've ever made. Do yourself a favor and use the free membership or book through the courses directly. There are absolutely zero perks to paying for a membership.

Tip for consumers:
I joined because I was hoping the discounts and the codes would be helpful, and the customer service was good before the merger. I was looking forward to perks and free balls! I purchased a year of disappointment.

Ordered a refurbished Apple Watch and read reviews after issues came up. My watch never arrived but by the looks of it, that's probably a good thing as other refurbished purchases have arrived for other customers non-working or severely damaged. Customer service is non-existent, I have been battling for nearly a month for a refund for a watch I requested to cancel within 24 hours but never even arrived, there is no phone number, and "Miguel" keeps telling me to file a claim with USPS even though I tried and USPS told me that because DailySale never bought shipping insurance, I have no options with them. So I have no watch and my money is in limbo and "Miguel" only answers once every few days if I'm lucky. Thankfully I ordered to pay through Affirm and have been able to dispute the charge with them (although their service is just as awesome as DailySale so far). I'm pretty sure DailySale is a scam. If you're here, I think you already have that feeling as well. Steer clear. It looks like most of their 5-star reviews on most review sites are planted/bought.

Tip for consumers:
The only tip I have for others who might use this site: don't.

A lot of the assignments that get submitted are broken English or plagiarized. There are a whole lot of things that are uploaded that don't have any answers or work done that explains how they got to the answer which would be extremely helpful for those of us not wanting to cheat but needing some added guidance and direction. Too often I get some strange questions that need faster clarification than my instructor can offer and CourseHero has usually been pretty good about that. And then they changed their unlock credits and price structures. Now, you have three pay options: Pay up front the whole year for $120, pay 90 days at a time for $60, or pay monthly for $40. Chegg charges $14.95 per month and that's it. Chegg has almost all of the same assignments I am always looking for AND the people posting the answers almost always offer the explanations how to get to the answers. CH is only good if you have a full year left. It is nearly useless without a subscription. The work available is awful, btw, because you are forced to submit 10 documents to get 5 credits and how many of us have that many documents - especially the new students? And what the heck is an almost graduated student going to do with all the credits? Revise, CourseHero, REVISE PLEASE!

I called to retrieve my account number for paperless management. The first representative I spoke to was rude and condescending and lied to me about the abilities of her department. She claimed that her system was down and she was unable to look up my account at all, and then immediately afterward said that she didn't have the authority to look up my account. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, she tried to dissuade me by saying that the supervisor would say the same thing. I explained to her that I didn't care and wanted to speak to one anyway. She placed me on a silent hold and then came back and claimed she could not find a supervisor and then continued to repeat the things she'd already said. I repeated my request for a supervisor which she outright fought me on (what CUSTOMER SERVICE representative fights with customers?) and I insisted on still speaking with her supervisor. I reminded her that she is in the business of customer service and that I am the customer and the customer is always right. Eventually she backed down and actually put me on hold (with music this time) and another woman with the exact same voice came on the line, repeated the same things as the "previous" representative, became irate when I accused the "previous" representative of being rude and lying to me, and then hung up on me.

Stay far, FAR away from this company. If they treat customers with $0 balances this poorly, I cannot possibly imagine how they treat customers who carry balances. I still don't have my account number and no access to my account whatsoever. I cannot find my card and truth be told I'm actually afraid to order a new one. I just want the account closed and out of this nightmare that is CareCredit.
