I will never use Uber again. It may be the worst company in the history of mankind.
I live in the San Diego area. Two of my Uber drivers did not know where our airport is. They often cannot find my home even I call them.
In my early retirement I drove for Uber for a few years. Uber completely exploits its drivers. My earnings were far below minimum wage after expenses.
Please: Never do business with Uber.

VRBO is a scam company that allows dishonest property owners who post their own reviews to list overpriced properties.
Here is an example of a beach front property they list in San Diego:

Sounds wonderful, right? Not so fast!
They owner of this property listed her own glowing Yelp review that is a lie:

The owner is Patty S. Her self-posted review is a lie. (See photo). She might ruin your vacation if you rent her place. She did exactly that to us.
You will be much better off if book your place at legitimate resort or hotel. If you need to change or cancel in most cases commerical places will work with you. VRBO property owners have total power over you and may refuse to refund.

Air BnB is a terrible company. Even though they are allowing some cancellations due to Covid-19, they are not allowing others. It depends on the dates of your stay. You have no say. Plus, we booked a stay in Boston well before the virus. The property owners canceled it without warning leaving us without a room. Awful! You will fare much better booking with a legitimate hotel. You will have the ability to cancel or change and have a much better idea of what you will get. We booked our Boston stay to save money. It is totally not worth it. Skip Air BnB... stay in a well known hotel instead.
