I cannot understand how in the world Choice Home Warranty is rated as high as they are; my opinion is they have had to pay someone for their high ratings. We had Old Republic home warranty when we purchased our new house. During that time our dryer went out and they determined that it was not cost effective to repair the dryer. They told us we could wait and have them replace it or we could have a check sent and we could go and purchase a new one JUST like the one that we had. Naturally this is what we had expected from Choice Home Warranty, but boy were we wrong and are very disgusted. Had Old Republic not raised they prices so high, we would not have switched over. But you get what you pay for.

One issue I now see after the fact is that Choice did NOT send a certified Electrolux repairman. In fact the tech said he does not like to work on front load washers, but prefers top load washers. So now I am thinking he did not know what he was doing and he just listed all possible parts that could cause the issue. Now I see it would have been better if he had tried one part after another until the problem would have been fixed like a backyard mechanic does. So with this claim with Choice, we get an email from them stating: "Great News! We have received the diagnosis on your claim. It is more cost effective to replace your Washer than to repair it." After selecting to process the replacement we receive an offer for a little over $350 for a $1,064.00 Electrolux front load washer. What a slap in the face. So I elevated it to a case manager thinking we would be able to get the total replacement cost since they decided it was not cost effective to fix. They raised the amount to right at $549.99, which is half of what we should have been given. This machine is the number one rated washer that has 8 wash cycles, 5 temp settings, 5 soil levels, 5 spin options, stain soak perfect steam, extra rinse, wrinkle release, extended refresh, delayed time, control lock and especially set up for wash pods. There is NOT a machine that Choice Warranty can purchase for $549.99 to replace this machine with all those functions. As you can see they really do not care about their customer it is all about the almighty dollar.

Choice says they do NOT HAVE TO REPLACE THE SAME BRAND, MODEL, ETC. However, in the contract it says that Choice cannot be held liable for anything greater than $1,500 through the arbitration avenue. I thought elevating to the case manager, that they would be my arbitrator and would increase the amount to replacing this unit. As we found out this is a bunch of BS and they do NOT SUPPORT THE CUSTOMER. So consumer you have been warned, SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT PURCHASE YOUR HOME WARRANTY INSURANCE FROM THIS COMPANY. Best advice is when you call warranty companies ask for a copy of the contract and then call them back and give them examples for replacements so you know what to expect. You can use my example and see what they would do, but double check the actual contract. They might be as bad as Choice Warranty and I have advised my realtor NOT to use this company EVER.

Purchased a backup camera for my 20 y/o car. This backup camera was "NO WIRES" has a battery and is hooked up to IPhone via app. Took almost a month and when I received it, it was the wrong camera. Contacted Bluegreen. Shop and Yitengzumingg who I purchased the item from. They acknowledged that they sent the WRONG item. They refused to send me a free return label because this company is NOT reputable. They informed me that if I wanted to get my money back I would have to mail the $25 item back to China. Naturally I called Discover for a dispute and will contact the BBB to complain also. When a company ADMITS THEY SENT THE WRONG ITEM will not standup and send a free label to send it back to China, They tell me if I want my money back I have to spend the money to ship the item back to China. Stay away from this company, they are deceitful and as you see cannot be trusted.

Purchased two Bitdefender Antivirus software for 3+ years and only paid $24 each. Had problems with install on my wifes computer and they kept working with me until we got it up and running. Very happy with a little over $6.00 per year to have piece of mine with a very good rated antivirus software program. I definitely will be purchasing other software packages from them.

On Oct 1st, I went to a gun show in downtown Wichita, KS. At the show was Holster Designs, ******* Interstate 45, Unit 8E, Spring TX *******. Because the show did NOT provide power to Tom (Holster Designs), he was unable to make me two holsters. Since the friend I was with had done business with him (Tom also sells knives), I gave Tom $70 cash and he promised the holsters would be sent the following Tuesday. As a retired military officer I trust people when they give me their word that they are going to do something. Tom answered one of my emails (the very first one), but he has failed to answer his phone nor emails that I have sent him. Then On Nov 17th, I went back to the Wichita gun show because Holster Designs was scheduled to be there that weekend. Naturally he did not show and it is probably because he had scammed others who were crazy enough to pay him in cash. The RK show manger said there was another vendor at the show that knew Tom. So this vendor called him for me and I talked to Tom and he once again promised that he would send me a certified check for $70. I waited two weeks and still received nothing as promised.

For anyone who purchases a product from Holster Designs needs to understand that you will probably not get the warranty support that this company promises. You see from the above description that his promises are worthless. Don't be fooled there are other products out there that are just as good and probably better than his. Since Holster Designs is located in Texas, he frequents gun shows around Ft. Worth, Dallas, etc. His website is still up and running and is just about the only way he is selling his product because he owes money to several of the gun show organizers. So buyer beware. If I ever receive my $70 then I will have this review removed and/or updated.

I contacted the BBB out of TX and Tomas Ziupsnys refused to answer their requests and therefore stole my $70. Since this happened before Christmas I think he needed the money to purchase presents for his family.

Tip for consumers:
Holsterdesigns.com. Run away do not give this guy your money because he will NOT support any of your warranty claims.
