I've been shopping on temu constantly because the discounts are crazy! Not only are products that are usually found in stores for 10$ only about 99¢ on this website, but they're also sold in such manageable, reasonable portions instead of the huge bulk portions that other stores try to push on us. For example I like making handmade bracelets and if i find beads I like, I want to buy only that bead, not a huge mix and match kit of other random beads just to get that one kind. On temu you can buy any kind of one thing without all the weird annoying sales tactics and its amazing!
They also have this crazy feature that I've never seen anywhere else called "price adjustment." Every single day after you've bought something you can check back with the price adjustment button to see if the seller has changed the price of that listing that you already bought and if they lowered the price at all, you get money back! I've gotten like 10$ in price adjustment change just because sellers have had occasional discounts on things I've already bought and I'm always clicking that button lol.

Tip for consumers:
Shipping usually takes like 12-14 days.

TLDR: They gave me 2$ instead of 10, never let me cash out and then tried to charge my card

I applied the rakuten browser extension before checking out. After I bought something, I checked the rakuten balance and it said it needed to verify with the merchant that I actually made the purchase. Several days later I asked support why the cash back still said pending. They had a promotion going on at the time that said you would get a 10$ "welcome bonus" if you spent more than 10$ with rakuten, but when I check the pending status it says less than 3$ is pending, so I asked about that too.

Another day later the support emailed me telling me to screenshot the entire order confirmation email I got from the merchant. I did, and emailed it to them. Another day later I saw that the cash back was done pending! But it was less than the amount they owed. It was like 2$, and the order price listed had changed as though they manually edited the amount I had spent? I said whatever, and had to figure out how to input my card info to get the money but I was already suspicious of the site now.

I found the wallet tab where I could put my card info to receive the money, but I gave it my cashapp card which has no money in it because I didn't trust it. The second I finished putting in my card's number, before I put in my billing address or ever hit enter, I got an alert on my cash app that someone tried to charge me money. Thankfully there's no money in my cashapp! Anyway, then it said I'd need to "earn" 5$ worth of cashback to cash out which I should've already had but they scammed me out of it and tried to charge me money.

Tip for consumers:
Waste of time! Try Honey instead. Drops the cash back instantly into your paypal.

Ipsy used to be the best. They always give out the absolute best and most valuable sample products compared to other beauty subscriptions. If u found anything wrong with ur ipsy bag just email support and they will send u a coupon for the next bag or extra free samples! It always shipped out on the 2nd or 3rd only a few days after being charged, and would arrive on the 10th! I understand that covid delays are happening but with every other purchase the delay has only been a couple days more than usual. Lately my bag doesn't even SHIP until the 20th and doesn't arrive until i'm already paying for the next bag. I love the products and i didn't even mind when the price went up from 10$ to 12$ but now it seems like too much for the bad service. Not to mention if you email support now they send u a generic "it will arrive soon!" message rather than working with you or fixing the issue. It used to be amazing but now i think i'm going to switch to a different beauty box.

Tip for consumers:
make sure you’re willing to wait over a month for your bag before subscribing.
