Stay away from IG.ca or IG Wealth Management, IGM Financial, Investors Group or whatever other names or websites they use if you want your money to grow faster.
My money ended up in limbo on at least 2 occasions, 1 time for over 5 months & this time is still to be determined as I am still waiting for a transfer (to a different institution this time) & it has already been over 6 weeks.
I am willing to bet that IG is still making money on my money while I am not... what a business culture!?!

I am walking in the Allbrook Mall in Panama City, Panama & this charming Colombian girl (in her mid-to-late 20s) from 1 of the middle counters in the mall approaches me & asks me what causes the bags under my eyes… I replied the excessive heat (as by that point I had walked over 10,000 steps according to my fit app).
She offers to put some cream to show me that they would disappear. I quickly responded "You promise you won't be hurt if I don't buy anything" & she replied no problem.
I then let her apply something just below 1 of my eyes (otherwise called the orbicularis roll, the orbital fat bag, the fluid) & she then started flapping something like a fan toward it to speed up the drying process.
Now it gets interesting… she then leads me to the actual OROGOLD Cosmetics retail establishment (a hop, a skip & a jump away) where the owner is applying something to a potential customer, I guess.
She applies something else in the same spot & I express to her that I feel it is tightening up.
She says that feeling is normal & it will go away in a few minutes & it did.
Here is the really fun part... Now the owner is done with the potential customer as they left the store. So now he joins the party & continuously implying (like a manipulative donkey) that I will buy, should buy, & anything but taking NO for an answer, INSTEAD of just saying understood (very bad sales skills if I may say so myself & I have only been in sales for over 3.5 decades) rather than applying pressure or continuously insinuating that I should, would, etc… buy it after I made it CRYSTAL CLEAR to both, that I would not be buying anything & that these insecurities are not for me… feed them to someone else. I finally told him that I was irritated with his insistence & had to leave, so I did but never got the opportunity to advise him (the owner) to go brush his teeth & rinse his mouth as the bull$#*! Was overflowing.
Anyway, that irritating experience led me to lookup the company online.
Speaking of bull$#*, it says on LinkedIn that the CEO is Amy Young but there is no picture.
So, I decided to dig further & all though there are many, many pictures of different Amy Young's, NOT 1 posted picture of an actual person had any relation to OroGold Cosmetics & vice-versa, every post related to OroGold Cosmetics had no picture of a person (just their name or something)… my guesses are Amy Young is afraid to be identified because of unhappy customers, Amy Young's own products ended up making him/her look older instead of younger… BUT my real theory is that there is no AMY YOUNG CEO of OroGold Cosmetics… she's a ghost & it's all bull$#* (like what came out of his mouth) but what better name to use for supposedly anti-aging products… YOUNG (It's genius & criminal at the same time)
It all seems like Smoke & Mirrors to me!
To top it all off, their reviews online are poor & don't take my word for it... checkout their online reviews for yourself!
You can also Google "orogold lawsuit" & find lots of interesting stuff on them.

This business does not communicate, just does the service & repairs with no prior notice of costs... I tried again in the 2nd year of service to give the benefit of the doubt but the results were the same... they refuse to communicate.

Also, in my opinion the brand ScootTerre is over-priced as I purchased this 50cc gas scooter not realizing that the Piaggio Liberty 50 (which has almost double the weight capacity among other pluses (which tells me it is a much better engine that will last longer & costs ONLY $100.00 - $200 more (3-5% more) with a brand name you can count on, get a better resale value... & with everything working like it is supposed to, unlike typical Chinese brands made with all the bells & whistles EXCEPT they don't all function properly or at all... After purchasing it, I was advised by a rep of this establishment, not to use 1 of the brakes & not to use 1 of the 2 stands by another (as it has a side stand as well)... Then why are they there & why am I paying to have them!?!

Did I mentioned that both the starter button & the horn went in the 1st 10-14 months...
I would never touch this establishment & the brand is just over-priced not to mention that not everybody wants to service them (because Chinese brand) & the resale value.

I applied for a Brim MC as they offered no international transaction fees & I was leaving the country for a little while. They replied a day or 2 later requesting more details from me. At the moment I received this request, I realized that I would not get the card in time for my departure (so I did not send them anything), I simply asked them to cancel my request... I wrote

"Thank you but kindly cancel this request."

They replied
"We are sorry to hear about your desire to withdraw your application. Your request has been processed.
We hope that you will consider Brim & our platform in the future!
Have a great day,
The Brim Team"

Approx. 2 weeks later, I am advised (by a family member) that the card is in my mailbox (but I am still out of the country).
My instruction to cancel my request could not have been simpler but yet they could follow it.
Not interested in doing business if we don't understand each other from the start... & why did you ask for docs 1st time around & still send me the card after I did not provide the requested docs & asked you to cancel my request... sounds like a sketchy company & I do not like inconsistencies... NOT INTERESTED.

Tip for consumers:
I don't like nor do I trust inconsistent or sketchy companies with flip-flop policies.

They are unprofessional as they don't get back you regarding a billing issue.
They request details from you that they already have in their system (that I did provide them wtih) but I believe they do this because they are too lazy or want to make it difficult & tiresome for you so you give up or all of the above.
There system for reporting a dispute seems to be internal so you can't even follow your own dispute... What kind of system, is that!?!... I get the feeling they do this because they want to keep everything private as they are liars & thieves... What a business Culture!

CONTINUATION:
I disputed the case with my creditor & apparently, I lost my dispute with CommunAuto as THEY HAVE ALL THE DOCUMENTATION & I don't… of course I DON'T as they don't provide any. When I spoke to their rep, why was he not able to email me a confirmation that I would not be charged!?!

Also, a 2nd time their their employees still couldn't find the time-stamp (I was able to access it online but not them!?!) nor the recording of my conversation with their rep.

If there was a restriction, why was I told (TWICE) that I would not be charged, especially since your rep should be even more aware of it as this is their job.
Also, I am fairly certain that I called on the day of the cancellation (probably less than 1 hour after speaking to your rep) but I definitely called from *******097. As per time & date, I would recommend checking the timestamp of when I cancelled but per your system... 29/12/2022 18:28:34

If you read my dispute, I cancelled shortly after my conversation with your rep & your system shows a cancellation time stamp of... 29/12/2022 18:28:34... that reads DECEMBER 29,2022@ 18:28:34 (6:28 PM Eastern time) which means that I spoke to your rep prior to this time on the same day.
Also, how is it I can access the timestamp as a customer & you can not as an employee!... You guys seem really mixed up.
From here you can deal with my creditor & do not bother me any more about this subject after it took you 1 week to reply... You should be embarrassed as a company with this kind of customer service.

I just followed up with my creditor & it seems you won the case... congratulations as you are $25.00 richer (unjustly as you don't take accountability) but you will see much less of my business as I have learned to walk, cycle & use public transport more along with using my scooter & spending winters down south... so in the end, you really lost big time.

I used to work for a company with a similar business culture (& by-the-way they ended up in bankrupt) & on occasion I was requested/required to attend court when they were being sued & on 1 occasion even the judge made a comment on how they had all the angles covered in their "Terms & Conditions" where it was almost impossible for them to lose… they use the legal system against you but the legal system doesn't help to grow a business... Your CUSTOMERS do!

All this for $25.00… I have no regrets because this type of customer service (if you want to call it that) calling me "Dear X" & not being able to find info in your own system) is unacceptable to me.

Forgot to mention that the provincial governments has@ 24% stake in the company (as of March 2023). Anyway, I recently had to contact them because my reserved vehicle was not there... to make a long story short, there recovery wasn't bad but they charge the customer a $40 late fee & credit me $15 (even though I was much more inconvenienced than them i.e. Freezing outdoors for@ 1 hour while trying to get this resolved & having to come back to switch for a different vehicle as this 1 was reserved long-term).

Tip for consumers:
COMMUNAUTO.COM (Montreal) are unprofessional... just check their reviews online.

Full review to follow in the Spring of 2023 (along with all the online chats I had with them) as I am out of the country at the moment & I am still finalizing the issues with Amazon... but they did send me an incorrect (vital part I needed in order to connect an additional monitor for work) TWICE!... YES, the identical incorrect part!
So the number of both Amazon customers (310,000,000) & Amazon Prime members (200,000,000) will soon be down by 1 as I will not be renewing my Prime membership with them nor will I be using them for anything else until they rehire the ± 18,000 employees they replaced with Rhinos (as Rhinos have very poor vision) or Jeff Bezos comes back & runs Amazon the same way it became so successful.

*** Is it coincidence that Amazon seems to be slipping BADLY since Andy Jassy became CEO?!?... Jeff please come back & run things again the way you have for years for my sake but more so for the sake of Amazon & it's hundreds of millions of customers. If you do, I will renew my membership & most likely till death be loyal Amazon customer. ***

Things are starting to look a little brighter as I always had high expectations of Amazon because they much more often than not deliver what they say they will otherwise they make it right & they have begun to make it right.
The reality is nobody & no company is perfect... To conclude, we have begun getting in the right direction... but still not sure if I will renew my membership as this took A LOT of my time (on multiple days) & sucked A LOT of my energy.

Tip for consumers:
Just cancel your membership & stop using them as there are other providers out there.
Meanwhile, if you are having issues, record your chats with the Amazon reps as the info from 1 rep to another is very inconsistent lately.
Like many things in life, it is a numbers game & eventually if enough people cancel , even Amazon will need to make changes!

Today is January 26,2023 & I still have not heard back from them even though I did send a follow-up email on December 30,2022 advising them that I have yet to hear back from them regarding this ongoing issue... This is totally unacceptable service in my book!

ALSO, I have been out of the country in January 7,2023 & setup my cellular with airplane mode to avoid any additional charges.
However, I keep getting a notification that I have voicemail but when I check (now using my work cell with no costs as they got me once for the $15.00 charge), it appears that I don't really have voicemail... (as I get the Fido message... "Nothing to tell you"). Seems very deceiving to me:(

UPDATE 2023-2-01

I spoke to someone at Fido today (Emma) who was very helpful as I told her more than once that Fido is lucky to have her.
She understood my case & took the time to go over details with me (as I was able to send her proof that I never heard back).
She may actually have saved this marriage... I call it a marriage because I have been with Fido for over 15 years & would like to stay with them if this issue is resolved.

Tip for consumers:
I'm not sure what to say here other than that aside from not trusting them any longer, I am disgusted with their service regarding the 1st issue & will not be a client much longer...
But it seems to be changing...

Not for me... very, very sketchy as I saw multiple profiles that were also on other sites but using a different city of residence along with a different name... 1 of the other websites was Amolatina.com
In my view, the 20 bonus credits is simply a worm on a hook!...
Oh & BTW, they coerce you to follow them on Twitter

Tip for consumers:
I doubt very much that they have a refund police & I am very surprised to see that the Play Store has an app
