I didn't know if this type of dating would actually work for me, but n less than 90 days, someone very special found me. I believe if you know who you are and what you want, Zoosk can work for you as well.
I met an amazing woman. It took a while. With lots of ups and downs... but the journey was worth the wait to find such an amazing person...
Basically it sucked, but I found someone I care about. I would not recommend this site to anyone as it's all views and not much interaction from other females. The format is easy, and when something is so easy it usually sucks out loud.
"Views" in Zoosk are quite useless - every time someone sees even your photo, like at when starting the program/app or simply reviewing the "Views" without accessing the profile of the person, this automatically generates a view. In essence you cannot rely on Views as this does not say anything at all! It is a mixed pot.
Also I have found duplicate profiles, empty profile that according to Zoosk rules should not be existing, people that should not have been part of the selection even by applying filters, blocked profiles still coming up, fake members, etc.
It all depends on what you are looking for but the real number of actual "Zooskers" is probably a deal smaller than what appears!
The support team is quite quick to reply but often their reply repeats what is on FAQs and does not answer the questions as such!
Filters are also on the poor side - there is definitely a lack of criteria - though if some would be applied, nearly no profile would turn up!
I will not renew my subscription for sure - this is not what I expected.
Do not get me wrong, you can still find nice and interesting people!
I have been blessed to have had to opportunity to chat with some interesting women from various backgrounds and belief systems on this site. My experience was mostly good. I have come to realize that people are people; regardless of how you meet. Be prepared to share important information about you as early as possible; because, the other person has a right to know. If the chemistry is not right at the beginning, let the other person know how you truly feel. It is is not meant to be, it won't. I have met great women on this site that, even though we did not get very far in our conversations, I still adore and fond of. My advisce: 1) Those who treat online dating such as Zoosk as a recreation, rather than a chance to be creative in "selling your positives" often feel depleted fast and lose the chance to meet really great people. 2) Physical beauty is only an introduction; allow your positives to make people want to share your presence. 3) You can date anonymously and still find happiness without hurting the other person. Thank you Zoosk and best wishes to those who are still looking.
Was a good experience with some people. Others not so much. It seemed as though I had a hard time removing the candidates I was uninterested in. But other than that it was a decent overall experience.
This site was very active and better than all the rest. Very easy to use. Many men near me or at least in Connecticut. Other sites their all out of state. So happy that I met Jon on this site and tell others to join and give it a try. Thank you.
I HAVE TRAVELED FROM THE FUTURE TO ALERT YOU ABOUT ZOOSK.
If you're reading this review, you may be wondering to yourself if it's worth it to make a financial commitment to Zoosk. I was in your exact place onCE time. I wondered to myself... How could a popular website like Zoosk yield such poor reviews online? Are people simply butt-hurt because they couldn't get a date?
When you sign up for Zoosk, the platform seems friendly and promising. Your first red flag will appear when you realize you can't read messages from other users without paying for a subscription... But you want to, oh so badly.
So you get suckered into that subscription, but before you even finish your purchase, Zoosk offers you more features for more money! And you're thinking to yourself... Well why am I paying for a monthly subscription if I don't even get all these other features included in there?
Then comes the last slap in the face when you get to the final check out page, and realize that they have a $25 "one time subscription fee"... WTF is this? A gym membership?
But the greed doesn't stop there. Just about anything you want to do on this website costs more money. And you start to realize that it's likely that your matches are not even getting your messages, because they may not even have a Premium Subscription. So Zoosk is actually using your messages to honeypot other users into paying for a subscription, while you're left feeling demotivated because you are not getting a reply back from anyone.
Right at this point, Zoosk delivers one last kick to the nuts. They automatically renew your monthly subscription without notifying you. What is the point of signing up for a one-month subscription vs a 12 month subscription if the former option gets automatically renewed without your knowledge.
If you're like me, you are finally so fed up by their scammer approach with online dating, that you decide to de-activate your account. At least you get to feel some joy when you click through their desperate click-bait attempts to keep you as a paying member. They beg and plead with you not to deactivate your account down to the very last click.
TL; DR
Search for "Zoosk reviews on Consumeraffairs.com and see for youself.
I get plenty of views but what's wrong with these guys? They like to view but can't chat. I guess they all want the perfect woman. Very unrealistic!
It was ok people are not always honest and I don't like the wink button I think my matches were bad I didn't hit It off with any of them
After my husband passed away I wasn't sure if I could love anyone else. I thought I would give love another chance. I am so glad I did. I meet a man who showed me that it is possible to love twice. I never regret it.
I was just going through the site and not seeing much. Then, once I did make a connection, we were well matched. Very well matched! I was one of the stout non internet dating folks and did it on pressure from my cousin. Within 2 weeks, magic.
I have already emailed you. The site is poorly done! The matches 90% of the time do not include my guidelines. You send me Women, Black men, people over my age limit, and distance is ridiculous.! Cancellation is made hard as well.
This is a real single web site. Where people are REAL. Sincere l really have nothing bad to say about this website.
I don't even think the people are real for 29.99 or whatever how do you even know the people are real
There were men who would show up in the carousel who lived way too far. Wish it would have only gave me people who lived within a distance I could set. However, I did meet someone who lives a bit farther than I hoped, but hasn't been an issue so far.
This is my second time being on this site within three years. I like the experience of getting to know various people. The one thing I don't like or understand why if this is an dating site for love why would you allow people to be legally married but seperate on their status? Thanks for the experience!
Zoosk is a reputable site. Not like the other sites. A much better class of people. Other sites people are looking for a one night stand Zoosk does not seem to be that way.
Answer: These view are fake. Zoosk is lousy site! They obviously mislead their customers giving them fake likes and matches. You get instant bot auto-responses. I left to http://J4Love.net The result of my search there is incredibly awesome: I finally spent Christmas with my woman! I had wasted 11 months on Zoosk and then it took me just one month here to meet my perfect woman. Don't let Zoosk con you into their shady and phony "dating" kingdom. Zoosk is worthless, time is precious! The longevity of profiles is tremendous, they are there for years, obviously outdated.
Answer: The real matches are scant and located at distant places. The fake matches are abundant especially when your membership is about to end. It's phony. I met my girlfriend on http://J4Love.net This dating service is a lot better than Zoosk, Match, Tinder, etc. They are more professional with ethical approach to business - something that Zoosk lacks now. Zoosk used to be better couple of years ago, but now they suck.
Answer: ZOOSK, is a total RIPOFF
Answer: NO MA'AM IT IS NOT. In fact I only used the coins when I could get them for free. Under the system that's no longer possible. Nobody takes that sort of thing seriously, and for a woman it's even less relevant.
Answer: In the two months I have been on Zoosk. I have chatted with a number of woman, exchanged phone numbers and talked on the phone and I am just an average looking joe. I have also had times when I received a chat request and the person does not respond. You do have to pay to chat and the other person has to be a paid member. OK if your reading this there is one thing I found, if you search, only pay attention to the ones that say "recently online", the other ones may be fake or no longer active. It's a numbers game I have had many that did not respond to my messages also.
Answer: I believe it is. But how safe is the internet these days. Just don't be quick to give too much information too soon you will know when its right to share. Good luck
Answer: Not at all don't bother buying them just play some games u will get some
Answer: Chances are you're sending a message to someone that was a member long ago and isn't registered any longer. Zoosk is a total scam.
Answer: Unfortunatly not. You have to be a member. I suggest you don't try this site. It won't help you to find wat you're looking for. Cheers. R.
Answer: I can't believe you expect that! The whole idea is anonymity until people are comfortable with exchanging personal info.
