ZoomInfo Reviews Summary

The company has garnered mixed feedback, with notable strengths in the comprehensiveness and accuracy of its database, which many users find valuable for prospecting and generating sales leads. However, significant concerns arise regarding customer service, characterized by slow response times, lack of support, and issues with contract transparency, including automatic renewals. Customers frequently report frustrations with outdated or incorrect data, leading to wasted time and resources. Overall, while the platform offers useful tools, the negative experiences related to customer service and data accuracy detract from its reputation, indicating a need for improvement in these areas.

They have listed my personal cellphone associated with my business. It's causing me to receive lots of spam calls and text messages daily. Company is completely unresponsive. I have reached out to support at least 10 times and no one gets back to me.

Our company listing on Zoominfo displays incorrect data. None of the "employees" listed are employed by us and de get numerous phone calls and emails daily asking for these unknown employees which wastes our time as well as paying Zoominfo customers. We have requested removal and have contacted Zoominfo privacy numerous times, but the issue has not been resolved. I suppose our next option is to comment our displeasure with this erroneous listing (that we did not sanction or request) by complaining on social media sites and the Better Business Bureau.

This website has my name/position and company contact info listed under a completely different company, and I get multiple sales calls every day that have absolutely nothing to do with my duties or even the products that my company actually sells. I didn't create a profile under another company name with my own info, so where did THAT come from!?! There is no way to get in touch with them and have this info removed. Absolute scam of a site.

Poor Customer Service
February 28, 2023

Our company signed up. Poor reporting capabilities. They show graphs, but if you need reporting to pull for other functions, you have to manually grab the info.

Poor Customer service. When you try to reach out for support it might take weeks if not months before they get back to you. You have to become the squeaky wheel to get any attention.

The site makes it difficult to get your users to sign up for it. Had issues where users signed in and it creates a user without it being tied to our company which then requires tech support, and initially all they do is send you a preformatted message and never get back to you until you complain so many times.

Licenses are expensive. I don't understand how large companies, let alone small companies, can afford this product.

Scam seeking class action lawsuit!
February 20, 2023

I bought this bought for my small business, recruiting agency. I was told there is a 95% accuracy rate in the data that they provide. They lied! Locked me into a 15K contract and I received nothing from them. I downloaded 555 contacts and had at a 60% bounce rate. The email addresses were coming back not valid. They have no explanation for this. I have read nothing but bad reviews, I should of researched prior to signing up. These people are taking from companies and creating fake profiles of real people. They need to be stopped! I am pursing a class action lawsuit. If anyone was taking advantage of and would like to share their story please email me *******@nursehustle.com
Please save yourself the stress and do not buy this product.

I wish there was a neg STAR rating. The invoice I attached is the price they charged us per quarter.

Zoominfo SUCKS
October 25, 2022

I have tried and failed to get my information removed from this site! They do not permit you to talk to their so called "privacy" department. They do not follow through with their promises to remove your information even though it is erroneous.
Do not permit this company to host any of your information or business as they do not care if the listing they post is correct, accurate or legitimate!

This site was brought to my attention when it listed someone we had never heard of as the "Restaurant Director" of one of our outlets - a position that does not even exist. Alongside this there were several instances of staff members listed who have not been with the company for several years. Despite repeated attempts there has been little to no contact from ZoomInfo, and zero effort to rectify the mistakes. As such, this website is a joke as a resource of information - you would have better luck with a 5-year old Yellow Pages.

They have the worst platform, no contacts in the EU at all! Bad customer service and they are hustling their clients. When you download a list of contacts, they plant in your list a few fake emails. So when you are done with their license they can see if you are using the data you took from them (which you pay for of course) and then they will come at you with lawyers so you will pay them for another year.
Please STAY AWAY FROM ZOOMINFO

Try to find out pricing on their site? Nope. Try to reach someone to just give you a price? Nope. They got alot of people in their database, but lots are missing key contact info. The only way to get info is to book a call with 'an account executive' (lol). When i acquiesced, and said 9:30 works "um, just to be transparent, we like to book ever hour on the hour. WTF? Give me a break.

I hired this company for lead generation... After using them for about 9 months, I called them and stated that I did not want to use their services anymore as I was unable to get ahold of not even 1 customer! I also sent them an email notification of my intent to not renew with them, however, they advised me that I was late 1 day of the 60 day notice period! I have asked for call logs and recordings to prove that I gave my notice on time but now they are refusing to send me this information... They are a bunch of scam artists!

We have had the exact same experience as Julio F.'s review. Unethical business practices like I have never seen before in an attempt to lock you in their contract forever. We got almost no return on the expensive investment we made on the platform, so our sales team decided not to renew. However, Zoominfo's contract is shady and sneaks in a tiny auto-renew clause in the contract; you won't hear from them again after you sign up until the moment your "opt-out window" for the contract expires. We've tried to cancel our contract with a 15 days notice, but they claim it's not possible and we must renew another year because the notice is 60 days. Their reps harass you, calling five times a day to force the renew and threatening with legal action and debt collectors. We are a company based in Australia, and the Australian Consumer Protection Agency considers this practice "unfair contract terms", but still Zoominfo keeps sending constant legal threats, and harasses our team. If you're considering using this software, read up what The Bear Cave published about their auto renew shady business, do yourself a favour and look for more ethical competitors than this big sales scam named Zoominfo. Some better alternatives are UpLead or Lusha.

I thought this was illegal but I guess it does not apply to this company. So if they are willing to break the law, what's that say about their operations as a whole?

Predatory contracts
July 26, 2022

ZoomInfo was already on the way out once we figured out their data isn't accurate, but now they are trying to hold us to a continuous contract for more years. This was NEVER discussed, highlighted or explained until after the deadline to cancel was up (60 DAYS PRIOR! Which is absurd amount of time to cancel a software agreement. Can you imagine apple or google requiring 60 days for all their contracts?

Like most other 1 star reviews, I cannot stand a company that tricks you and relies on fine print to get money out of you. VERY DECEPTIVE SALES TACTICS.

Year 1, auto-renew did us in. Auto-renew is one of them with no room to cancel even 45 days prior to renewal. They reach out to schedule a renewal talk and schedule it for after the auto renew date. Very frustrating as a client.

After reluctantly auto-renewing, Year 2 - we got dinged for sharing a license with our employee. Their solution = strongarm you into spending thousands more on licenses that we have absolutely no use for.

Don't care at all about the relationship, just doing whatever they can to squeeze every dollar out of you. Terminated our contract with them 10 months ahead of time this go around. Be very careful.
