We ran an add with ZipRecruiter and cancelled the add before the 30 days was up because to of the horrible candidates we were getting. However, unless you delete your existing account, they will keep charging you a monthly fee. This was an account that I had with them prior to posting an employment add this go around. SCAM. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY, DUE TO IT'S LACK OF ETHICS AND INTEGRITY. This is NOT how a company should do business. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY! I truly believe that this company uses A.I. And just out to take your money.

When you sign up for zip recruiter they send you few resumes of qualified candidates but it turns out they have been looking for jobs for sometime and they can't find one for whatever reasons, then when you start your subscription, you barely get any candidates even though your job posting is very competitive.

Devious marketing

Zip recruiter will sell you a single job posting for aorund 500.00 and you will get poor results. Then they start to up sell.You can end up spending 2-3K to get what you intially paid for. Very devois practice. Not an honset company.

Candidate Quality

The quality of candidates has not been quite up to par. Out of 268 candidates there have only been maybe (6) that were semi qualified for the job. However they have worked hard to assist me with this issue. The customer service representative (Rebecca) did an excellent job in coming up with some helpful recommendations to better assist me in finding better qualified candidates for our company.

Bait and Switch

I've been a multi year user of Zip Recruiter and have found it to be a fair value overall. My issue is that when you upgrade your service to try something new for a month and decide to go back to your former plan your former plans pricing increases. I was on a 4 job posting plan and paying $377 and change monthly, plus boosts etc. My guy at Zip suggested a new plan which I tried for a month, cost was $993. Really was not worth the upgrade as it just generated more garbage than normal to sort thru, went back to my old plan and now price is $480. I email my Zip guy twice, no response, I leave a Vm, no response. Finally chased him down to express my thoughts on the price change, nothing I can do I'm told, I had a disco7nt and now it's gone. This had happened in the past as well so it's a management decision not the CSR. I told him it's a sleazy practice, you can tell he's used to the feedback. This is basically a bait and switch tactic. Now the four job plan is going to $575 from the $377 I was paying. I was on auto pilot with the plan and now I'm taking a hard look at the value. Shame on you Zip Recruiter

This company is a farce. They send you emails of jobs that are old and outdated. They also send you jobs that are completely outside of the industry in which you're looking for and in which you are not interested in. Don't waste your time.

I started a free trial to see if it was a good way to find staff. I received terrible candidates and was charged over $1,056.00. It was a terrible experience. I would suggest DO NOT try Zip Recruiter.

We have used Ziprecruiter for years, so we are puzzled as to why after 3 weeks, we only recd 18 resumes when, in the past, we received hundreds. The salesperson said that the type of ad we place, ie $250 w a small discount usually runs 6 months. We only placed an ad for one month in the past with great results. Then, we were told to switch the location from Decatur, GA to Atlanta and change the job title from Legal Assistant/Paralegal to just Legal Assistant. Finally, we told to pay for a job boost, which is a $100 plus. Yet, the initial days when we were at the top of the search engine, we recd just a couple resumes. Do not use Ziprecruiter right now. If anyone can share, why we are getting terrible results, please let me know.

I am fairly pleased

I am pleased in one way because on finding out the mistake that happened, Tara was very helpful to explain to me what had happened and also she connected me to Lisa
S who issued me a refund and fixed things. But initially the emails that were sent to me were misleading and not explanatory. I have had an account with
Ziprecruiter since about July 2017. I then discontinued my account in about October 2017. I kept getting emails telling me that if i activated my account I would receive a 25% discount. My husband & I talked about it and decided to renew. Well I responded to one of these emails and paid the fee (they took my money) but it was not explained to me that i had to go into my account online and activate things manually, i thought that once I paid then that would automatically activate my same job postings. Well when i went online and noticed that the job postings showed closed that is when i questioned things. But thankfully things were fixed, Again thank you to Tara and Lisa S. :)

It found me qualified candidates very quickly. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking to fill positions. Also, great and friendly customer service representatives. Rebecca was awesome at helping me cancel my account. It was no longer needed as it worked and we filled every position in under 1 month.

My account rep was out of the office today, so I called customer service and spoke to Tara. She was able to answer all my questions and help me through the maze of having 2 postings in multiple locations for 6 available jobs, plus my being a first-time Ziprecruiter user! Thanks to Tara, my day is going much better now!
