It is puzzling why Zinio still refuses to support storing purchased magazines on an SD card instead of internal storage. That leaves the user running out of space on internal storage with two options: 1. Purchase a new device (tablet in my case) with bigger internal storage, or 2. Keep deleting downloaded magazines (which will prevent users from returning to previously read magazines easily).
One of my fave apps. I'm subscribed to several magazines since several years ago and everytime I need to check a back issue is ridiculously convenient to just download it in my iPad or phone, especially since they redesigned the app. Highly recommended.
Reading offline seems to never work. The site says to click on a pop-up - darned if I could find;. A good job of hiding wherever Customer Support may be. They really need to rethink the poor customer experience.
I'm looking for a different service.
Thanks,
Pat
The information feed is filled with interesting news from household, scientific, economic and general. Accordingly, it attracted with its content and offers for subscription. I agreed and am completely satisfied with this choice. They work perfectly.
Zino has been offering "free" issues of some magazines lately (2 or 3 issues). What they don't tell you, or hide it well, is that as soon as they deliver the last of the "free issues" they auto renew on your credit card. No notice, no nothing. Fortunately my credit card company declined the charge. There response was that if I did not want the auto renew to turn it off. Really! Also, the charged much more that the current price shown on their site. In this case $69.99 instead of $99.99.
Zinio is unwilling to provide a facility to store ones purchases on a micro SD card to save internal memory space on phone or tablet. Zinio have been contacted regarding this issue but simply refuse to include it in their app. Pocketmags does so why can't Zinio?
I have tried repeatedly to read my magazine The NZ Property Investor online through this site, Zinio. It is almost impossible to get access to the library and actually read my magazine. I have been given online support from zinio and a password which does not work. The app is very difficult to use as it does not give me instant access to the library and I just cannot get access to the library through my account. Not intuitive at all. And poor overall level of service. Cannot see how this site continues to succeed.
Was going to get friends a 12 month subs for Xmas. Did a test of mens health for me. Kept asking me to authenticate and pay via pay pay 2-3 times. Thought I was being scammed as cuticles me back to shop and pay again. Killed browner, cleared history and locked my pay pal and credit card. Seemed dodgy and so I have up. Will monitor my account to see if it hacked me.
This company has auto renewals on subscriptions with no notifications. If you try and call they direct you to their website and instruct you to link to help. Help does not go anywhere. If you press live chat it says no one available. No where on site can you cancel a subscription.
For years, I have been subscribing to craft magazines, such as Bead & Button, Beadwork, Interweave Crochet. Two weeks ago, I went to Zinio's website and signed into my account. Much to my consternation, I found my Library is empty, my record of Subscriptions and Purchases is empty, and my archives are empty.
I have tried approximately 5 times to contact this site via email, chat, and telephone. The telephone numbers do NOT connect to a human. There is one number that only allows you to leave a message with your name, phone number, problem, etc. Zinio is supposed to get back to me.
I have NOT received any responses to my emails, chats, or from the message I left, which was on 7/14/2021.
Needless to say, I now do NOT have access to any of my back issues, I do NOT have access to my current subscription. I feel pretty frustrated right now.
I think that all people today have to be modern and keep up with the tendency of digitalization. I am pretty tired of buying paper magazines, because there are lots of such ones in my house and I don't know where to throw them. So, I have decided to search for some services where I could subscribe on particular magazines which I like the most. I chose this company because it seemed to me that it has lenty of various magazines on all tastes. So, I did it and nowadays I got rid of paper magazines. I just enter this website and read everything I need. It's super convenient.
Google Music is an online music store and has a world collection of every genre I can think of. Im not a musician but they certainly have met all my music needs. Prices are average to high. But I can easily find what Im looking for and I have a subscription that gives me full access to listen to anything without buying it and play anything there over and over. Costs $10.61 per month, thats with tax. If you try it you will love the simplicity and ease of use they offer.
No phone service Too many glitches No refund! I ordered a magazine and the sent me a boating magazine. I've never even looked at boating magazines. Zinio (while chatting) says they can't see the boating magazine in my cue and they do t know what to do. ITunes sAys I don't qualify for a refund. The is the third time I've had issues with them. The last times were resolved over the phone but Zinio no longer offers it.
I like this app. It is easy to navigate and read articles. However, I wish that the next time there is a major update that they automate the re-download of magazines. No fun doing one at a time sharing articles would also be a nice feature.
After finding that my magazines were not downloading I upgraded the apps on both my Android tablet and my Surface. Now magazines download but they freeze constantly and can't be read offline. Customer support is non-existant. Luckily all 5 of my subscriptions expire within 2 months. I will not be renewing...
An excellent way to read your magazines under the same app... I read all my comics and travel magazines there! Via the app you can also download the magazines and read them offline which is perfect when your on an annoying and long flight... very recommended
From McDonald's Monopoly I peeled off the sticker and it said a 3 month subscription to Zinio. I chose the It girl mag for Oct, Nov and Dec. I have already got Oct and Nov. They are really good and interesting. But one con, it sent me an email and gave me a $10 voucher but I can't use it.
Great app for easy access to my magazines on my iphone and ipad. My library of magazines is sorted by title and by date, so it's easy to find what I want to read.
This site and apps are a great way to enjoy magazines without having to waste paper or going through the fuss of having to track them down in the newsstands. The magazines look the same, the text option eases reading and the links make it easy to viist sites mentioned in them.
Awhile back I got a free subscription to a Sound and Vision on Zinio for my laptop and I rarely ever used it. I didn't really see a need for it and I wasn't sure who would buy a subscription to a magazine for a laptop as it was so much easier to read a real version of it. 2 years later someone gifts me an ipad for my bday and Now I see the beauty of Zinio. I don't want any more paper magazine subscriptions... I only want digital downloads via Zinio... they even have ipad interactive content.
Answer: ZINIO offers Paypal as payment method. They also have a securized payment system so if you use your credit card your details are save too
Answer: Zinio offers digital magazines only. They do not offer print magazines, so they do not have shipment fees. You can read from your mobile devices
