They claim not to have received the most valuable item/s and so you do not get paid for them, even though you know that you sent them. They are scammers, do not use them.
Never got paid. Useless customer service provided endless timelines (wait 3-5 more days, wait 2 more days, wait 72 more hours for their non-existent "finance department" to "look into it", etc.). OR "rejects your email" as they believe it's spam; lol it's a customer service email account, why would you reject any emails? SCAM. Their Apple/iPhone App Store reviews are quite consistent, and their TrustPilot REAL reviews (ignore the bot reviews) also state the same: scam. Update: was told I was finally paid on 6/5 and to "wait 48 hours". Today 6/12 they admitted they never paid that either and I should wait another 48 hours as they promise they paid it today (sure they did). The lovely part is their app/order page says "paid" so they apparently just get to make things up, must be nice. Pics below!
My first use and I accidentally restarted a trade instead of continuing. As a result they cheated me, paid less than quoted for what I did send and didn't pay at all for the most valuable item. Don't waste your time with them, better to donate your books to charity.
They rejected 6 ITEMS on a trade of 9 items, under a array of false reasons. Every single item I sent was in pristine condition, everything was complete. Crooks.
ZIIFFIT ALWAYS CONVENIENTLY REJECTS THE MOST ECPENSIVE ITEMS so they have to pay you less. This is the last time ever I bothered with these crooks.
As I know they will try to have my review removed as they did many times before, always for the same blatant dishonesty, my trade number is ******* and I will fight for this review not to be erased. People need to know.
I sent lots of cds and Blu-ray sand quoted £103
I received £20 as most were not accepted.I did not realise they don't return the items must read the small print in future.Won't bother using again I'm disgusted
They said two most expensive items in my box were not there. The box was sealed with gaffer tape. I've emailed them and, without doubt, will get a load of waffle back. I'd intended to give the proceeds to cancer research as most of the items were my deceased son's, who passed away with cancer. I've asked them to investigate and let me know the outcome so I can contact the police. This is theft in my opinion.
I sent $22 worth of books to them. My books were in excellent shape. They rejected my most expensive book and then said they cannot send them back. Sounds like a major scam and shady company to work with. I would not send my books here. Better off donating them to the library where someone who actually needs them gets them. I'm very upset that I chose to try this company.
Only good thing they keep sending me messages but they repeat same thing over and over that my number is someone else's but they can send a massage to my email can't send payment scam wouldn't try this sorry i got ripped off all where almost new books from amazon pallet and they state they were damaged complete scam to pay 0 for a new book! That i got nothing no funds for!
100% Do not trust these people. I sent a number of items and by sheer "coincidence" two of the most costly items (£9.60 of a £28 trade) were "rejected".
To highlight how much BS this company talks, 1 of the items was purely 2 CD's in a case and it was rejected for "missing pages". THIS ITEM DID NOT COME WITH PAGES.
The other item was rejected for "missing pieces" that they conveniently cannot tell me what. Even though all 7 books, the map, and the box were present.
Again, do not trust these people at all.
I made a virtual agreement with Ziffit that they would purchase my brand new LPN entrance test prep Book for a whopping $13.99.
I was just emailed by a Ziffit "customer service hero" that they "recycled" my book bc it was in unsellable condition.
Does something seem wrong about this situation or is it me?
Sent in a lot of books and a box set of 9 dvd's in pristine condition. They say they weren't received-complete nonsense. I had to source a bigger box to accommodate both them and my books. Don't lie-if you received the books, you received the dvd's. Needless to say I won't be using them again. Would rather give to charity for all you get from Ziffit.
We wanted to avail of a first time customer deal but as hard as we tried we could not reach the recommended level to qualify... Be it number of DVD's/books that were accepted or whether our DVDs were 'wanted'.
We even bought over 300 DVDs at a car boot to check if it was just us my partner also tried the same items that I tried and she got different amounts and different acceptance rates, all for the same items... Very dodge
Maybe this is good for someone but for anyone trying to recycle for money I wouldn't bother... Donate to the local charity shop or Freecycle.
It'll be more satisfactory
I would not bother with ziffit and I urge you all not to bother either!
I used Ziffit to sell some items recently. I spent ages sorting through books, CDs and DVDs, scanning these items as I went, and packaged those which Ziffit accepted and sent them off. Apparently they did not receive many of these items, most often those items that Ziffit had valued the most! They also do not return those items which they reject! How convenient.
I filed a crime report with the local constabulary to report this theft, I wished I'd read the reviews on here before engaging with them. A large number of reviews report items mysteriously disappearing on receipt! Make of that what you want, but I will avoid this company in future, as I would advise anybody considering using Ziffit to do likewise. I wished I'd given the items to charity instead. Notably, Ziffit do not respond to reviews, and they do not respond when you attempt to contact them, which you can only do by email. They also do not appear to have a functioning complaints department, or any department which deals with customer services.
If I could give no stars it would still be too much credit for Ziffit.
Downloaded the app and followed all their instructions (scanning barcodes for value then packing securely), then left package on doorstep awaiting the promised DPD collection. They never came, despite chasing up Ziffit customer support a few times who promised a few collection dates. After package had been outside my house for 8 working days I just gave up, have subsequently cancelled my account and deleted the app... dont need that hassle just to get 8p or 10p off them for decent books. The customer support people called themselves 'heroes'... more like cowboys in my oppinion. Incidentally never had any problems with music magpie.
Sent books in mid-May and they "paid" us for those books 5/23, or so they said. The app says "Paid" and the website says "Payment Initiated". We never received the funds. Have reached out to them on various platforms- FB Messenger, email, their chat feature, etc.- and so far they have responded to about 1/4 of our messages, which is useless because they continue to provide us w/ false & useless timelines ("wait 48 hours", "wait 72 hours", "wait 3-5 days", "wait 7-10 days", etc.). On 6/5, advised us they finally actually did pay us and we should wait until 6/14 for funds. Today, 6/12, they confirmed that never got paid either, but assured us they paid us today! (sure they did) and our funds would be there in 48 hours. They have basically only responded to our negative reviews on TrustPilot, tell us to email them, and then they don't answer the emails. Not only did we NOT make money, we wasted money in gas + time boxing the books up & driving the books to a FedEx location (across town, which we did ON OUR WAY TO THE HOSPITAL to deliver a BABY so I am relatively DISGUSTED scammers like this exist and there is literally nothing we can do). They have no phone # to contact anyone with, not that it would matter, obviously, as they'd just give us additional useless timelines they are just making up. Their Apple App Store reviews are consistently negative, and if you sift through the very obvious solicited bot reviews on TrustPilot, their real reviews are also negative.
Horrible experience. I sent seven books with a quote of $34 and they only paid me $12. They rejected 4 of the seven. Of course, these were the most expensive books they quoted. These books were not in bad condition. They conveniently do not send them back and said they will "dispose" of them. Yeah right. I am sure they will be selling them for profit. There are other places I could have sold these books had I known this was not an honest legit site.
I sent in a valuable hardcover book that included an author signed card. They said the cover was damaged! It was slightly used (it was a vintage book about Bergdorf's window dressings!) but not damaged and they offer you no dispute. They can arbitrarily destroy your books with no proof of damage, and when you try and complain to customer service they tell you to read the terms and conditions. Besides that, they also didn't honor another book and labelled it "Expired". What does that even mean? Don't use them!
I sent my books nearly two months ago. Still there is no sign of payment. No communication, no response. I doubt if I would get payment at all. They block reviews that truly reflect their careless attitude under the pretext of policy violation. This is an unethical practice.
Sent in a number of books and never was paid. Contacted customer service and they claim payment was processed and would not provide me with further help.
The trade started on 05/05/2023 number of items totally £4ish. Nothing special but something to put towards some new DVDs for the little man. Time passes and 6 weeks later the transaction is cancelled and to this day I do not know if I'm going to get my items back. Shocking system they must have in place after I had chased up my order twice only to be told that the trade has been received by them but it's in a back log. I only hand to chase it up the second time after received a prompt email telling my to send my items. I bit my tongue and had patience believing the notion of a back log, but now I'm thinking it was all a distraction and the it ms have been lost. Honestly the lack of communication is astounding. In principle they have confirmed my items are with them and not paid me, then cancelled my order. If the items do not come back to me is this technically not theft? You can't speak to anyone in the immediate instance, it's all done over email so it's impossible to get a straight answer. It's only a couple of quid, but to some of us it helps. Not a company I'll deal with again, shear lack of morale and ethics, lacking any decency and principles. I hope this review will deter anyone from using this company.
Answer: Unfortunately, no, as it's a scam. See Apple App Store reviews & TrustPilot real reviews that aren't bot-generated and the picture is clear.
Answer: Hard / impossible and when you finally do, they lie and provide false & endless timelines with no outcome.
Answer: Scam. Never pay out and provide false & endless timelines.

Hello,
This is a rather old review and nothing I say will change this persons mind. However we do monitor review sites and if reviews are found to breach the independent review sites policies then they are reported and it is down to that company to take them down. We would never delete reviews, because we can't. We wish you luck in any future trades. Thanks, Ziffit.com
