I'm not a rich & famous performer like most of the rest of you who've left reviews, but I am so stoked by this company, the employees, their way of doing business, and of course the products - all of them from these absolutely stunning guitars, right down to the in-the-sound-hole humidifiers.
I got my new 900CEOMVS 50th Anniversary guitar several days ago - and it IS easier to play, it IS gorgeous, and of my other 7 guitars, it is now my go-to guitar... over my 414 Taylor and my 612 Taylor!
It's an OM size and deeper, more resonant than even my larger 414 Taylor. I have some arthritis in my hands, and the string spacing is definitely a benefit to me!
I know you can trust everything you read or view on the Zager website.
Denny Zager handles his company the way all American companies should be handled. Customer service is second to none, it is a forgotten art among most manufacturers. The products are outstanding and exactly as advertised, and I have watched every video on the site and on YouTube.

"I've owned Martin's and Ovations for years and still own some of each. I got a 6 string 900CE and a 12 String 900CE acoustic electric in December. They're the best guitars I have ever owned. I haven't played my Martin's or Ovations since I got my Zager's. I like the so much that in January I ordered the Zager travel guitar and I love it. All three are beautiful, they sound great and they're very easy to play! I can't say enough about them. You'll love them!

I purchased a ZAD80CE OM and it is a beautiful and great sounding guitar. I have other guitars from Gibson, Taylor and Yamaha but this has become my go to guitar and I think it sounds fantastic. That great sound will only improve with time. It is my first ever solid cedar top with solid rosewood back and sides. My Gibson is solid spruce with solid mahogany. My other guitars have solid spruce tops but laminated back and sides. Zager service has been outstanding with response time usually within an hour and sometimes within minutes.

After 39 years, I have found the best acoustic guitar I have ever heard and played. I was in the market for an acoustic between 3K-5K and my ZAGER 900CE (new is under 3K) is better than any other high-end guitar I have ever played or owned. This one was used and I got it for $1,575 with the case!

The sound is rich and full which inspires me creatively. It's super easy to play in all the tunings I have tried which allows me to explore the entire fretboard confidently.

It's hard for me to understand why some people don't consider ZAGER simply because their shells are assembled in Indonesia. Since the supplies for building guitars are 50% less in Indonesia, they are able keep their prices within reach of more players without sacrificing quality, sound and playability.

I have owned several acoustic guitars, including Martin, Alvarez, Epiphone, and Ibanez. Recently I purchased a Zager 900OME. Even before I opened the case in which the guitar came, I was impressed. The case itself is solid and well-built. When I opened it, the beauty and craftsmanship of the guitar became immediately evident. The real test came when I picked it up and played it for the first time and realized that the Zager is everything it is said to be and more!

The sound is rich and full; however, the miracle is in the ease of playing. Denny Zager has truly created a guitar that is easier to play. My old arthritic hands appreciate what he has done. I feel honored to have such an instrument and will treasure it all of my life.

Customer Service is outstanding. Every call, every email, was prompted answered, and no question was too trivial for the staff. It is customer service, and the willingness to go the extra mile, that make Zager Guitars exceptional.

I would gladly give more than five stars if possible. If you are looking for a guitar, look no further than Zager. The guitars are well worth the money and the wait!

What a wonderful company with very personalized customer service. Their guitars... well let me tell you I was blown away by the beauty, the sound, and the absolute care and commitment that Zager puts into their guitars and accessories. I bought the Parlor Guitar, which is made with the most beautiful African Mahogany wood I have ever seen. I can't quit looking at it! I have the ZAD50CE Mahogany guitar and absolutely love it!
After a 30 year hiatus from playing, this instrument makes my modest and very rusty skills sing. I have an Ovation and an Alvarez, both of which I enjoy but the sound that comes from the Zager and ease of play is absolutely awesome! This is a good instrument for me to resurrect my modest skills with and one that I will not 'outgrow'. The description on the Zager website touts this as "Possibly the last guitar you'll ever buy". They may be right.

I've had several guitars and this is by far the easiest to play and very easy on the fingers. I want to order one and have shipped to my residence in Thailand. Everyone I show it to loves how it plays and sounds. I purchased it in April of 2021 and it seems to sound better now.

Received my D80 and sold my Martin D-18 and D-35. Great sound and tone. Look inside and you will see why and how these guitars rise above the factory guitars. Inside my order was a humidifier, 3 sets of string, autographed guitar and pic, picks, and leather strap - I was all set to go

After many years of having put the guitar down, I decided the time had come to pick it back up again.
So after much research, I chose
The Zager Easy Play.
What an amazing choice. It is so beautiful in it's look and sound. I could have chosen any brand, style, etc. But the design really does make it Easy To Play.
Now, I cannot wait to knock the rust off & get back to being a guitar player.

I have the ZAD900CE Vintage Sunburst, and I couldn't be happier!
For at least 10 years I have had severe arthritis in both hands, making it almost impossible for me to play. I have tried several guitars Gibson, Epiphone, Harmony, Washburn and many more but it was too uncomfortable and I soon gave up even trying.
From start to finish my experience with Zager Guitars has been one that was nothing but professional and responsive to all my request and even changing guitars mid order. I recommend Zager for all you guitar needs. Trudy G. Oregon.(March2021)

My husband found your website, sent it to me for review, I read the story of Dennis Zager, watched a few videos and was immediately impressed. I'm 64, and I remember "In the Year 2525." Fantastic song! Anyway, we ordered one of your guitars, the slightly smaller version to make it easier for hubby to hold. He's an 80-year-old Vietnam vet who is very musically inclined. Music has helped him cope with hardship his entire life. We were completely impressed by how the guitar was packed, and with the beautiful case—this is NOT a cheap, cardboard case, but heavy, lined, and with a digital humidifier guage! Then there is the guitar. Oh my gosh. Do you know that it was tuned, right out of the box? Of COURSE you do! William played it immediately. What a sound. And he didn't even plug it in, yet. He played it with ease. I'm sure he will enjoy this guitar for years to come, and it will be much easier for him with his arthritis, with the way the strings and frets are lowered/spaced just a tad. Thank you, Denny Zager, for creating such a fine, fine instrument.

I've had Yamaha and Fender guitars, but stopped playing a very long time ago. Retired and in my 60s, I was enamored by the Zager easy play ads. I took the plunge, and I've never been happier. The 900 is a true piece of beautiful artwork. It IS easy to play with my now arthritic hands, and sounds incredible. I bought an amp and now amazed at the Fishman Aura technology. So many extras were included, my questions were answered rapidly by their superb customer service. Treat yourself! You can't go wrong with their incredible craftsmanship.

I had a great experience with my purchase from Zager Guitars. I just bought a Fender FA-135 acoustic/electric to learn on but the strings that came on it were terrible, they had a lot of buzzing and were so rough that my fingers hurt constantly. I tried using D'Addario String Lubricant and it helped a little. Then I found the Zager website and decided to try their EZ-Play "Pillow Touch" coated strings. The package of 3 sets of strings arrived very quickly and I installed a set on my guitar and could hardly believe the difference they made. They have very little buzzing noise and are so much easier on my fingers that I can now play twice as long and the sound is amazing. A problem arose when I looked at the other two sets and found they had some black rings around the strings in several areas. I fired off an email to Denny Jr. And asked if this was something to worry about and asked if I should return them. He replied immediately that it was a cosmetic issue but it was not right and they would send replacement sets to make it right. The replacements arrived in a few days, and to my surprise it was a replacement of the entire order with 3 sets of beautiful new strings. Both orders also included handy fretboard wipes and Zager picks, which I also love. After seeing how great the EZ-Play strings are, I can't wait until I save enough money to order one of their gorgeous Zager EZ-Play guitars. All-in-all, it was a great experience and I am very impressed with Zager quality and customer service. Thanks, Zager Guitar!

I started playing guitar in my 60s and bought a Zager Guitar on the recommendation of my cousin, who is a professional musician. He recommended Zager because their guitars are easy to play and have a great sound. He was right on both counts. Zager really does make guitars that are easy to play, and the sound is rich and resonant. I am extremely happy with my purchase and look forward to buying another one soon. Plus, the Zager family are good people -- generous and civic-minded. Their customer service is outstanding.
