I’ll be honest, I had read a lot of bad reviews like these and wasn’t really sure about signing up. But I decided I needed to do something. Even when I first signed up, I was still unsure about the whole thing. It was a really slow two weeks. But I’ve been with Yodle for almost two months now and am really pleased so far. I have sold almost 50k in stonework. The business has started coming in and I’m thinking of adding another crew. If you have any questions my website is www.StoneProInc.com you can contact me through there the site they built is http://www.masonrydallastx.com
The worse company in the world. There site crashed twice while setting up and they wasted two hours of our time. The worse customer service ever. BEWARE DO NOT USE. They are a rip off company... WHAT A JOKE...
Yodle requires much more of my time than I expected when it was sold to me (doing things I don't want to be bothering with). I have had problems with my information not getting updated across the web and changes that I requested Yodle make to my Adversite that I later found out were hurting my listing. (How was I supposed to know?)
If it wasn't for Gary's and Samantha's help, I think I would have cancelled my Yodle account by now. But for now, I'm still on board. Both Gary and Samantha helped a lot, but I was especially happy with Samantha's help and expertise.
I was promised one big job and one small job a month. It's been going on four months and I got one job the day after I signed up, and that was a fluke. I asked to drop their account because they didn't do as promised. They said I entered a contract and would still have to pay. They just dropped the amount i have to pay. Even though I have not gotten one call and they didn't stand up to their end of the contract, I can't let them go? If I don't do what I say on my contracts with customers, they have every right to drop me. I am wasting my money. NOT ONE JOB OFFER IN ALMOST FOUR MONTHS. I believe legally I can void this contract. I should be refunded after the third payment. They promised I would get jobs after 3 months and My Company's name would be one of the first companies on every page. Isn't this fraud?
Hey Roberta, sorry to hear you're not receiving the results you hoped for. We'd be happy to have someone review your account and see if we can make the program work for you! Private message us your details and we'll get started.^MB
As a 4 month customer of theirs, and an upstart business I was ensured first page listing on the search engines and received none. I was also informed that they would work to ensure I would get more new clients with their services, which I received NONE! And when I finally was informed on my services they said I was on the first page "just not for what I wanted" as she said I've spent $750 with them and have gotten no return on investment.
Hi Troy – I’m really sorry to hear about this. We aim to deliver strong results for all our customers, and I’m disappointed to read about what happened during your time as a Yodle customer. Scam, scam, scam. They promise the moon but can't meet half of what they promise. They called me and tried to ask me to continue and the sales rep had no idea what kind of business I have. They go through sales reps and managers on a weekly basis. My initial "web optimizer" was so rude and abrasive that I had to ask for a new one to be assigned. Her name was Cassie Jones and she was the most unprofessional person I have worked with in years. WASTE OF MONEY!
Thomas Standing imported into my Yodle Dashboard a huge CSV file with my contacts, and gave me access on Yodle to all 4500+ contacts I exported from my Microsoft Outlook contact list. Further, he explained how to work with them on the Yodel Dashboard and was just great explaining how to do that too. Thanks Thomas! (July 27,2016)
I try to gove business such as this one the benifit of a doubt. Yodle seems to be expecting me to pay $199/month only for me to put in all of the work and get nothing From it. BBB will be contacted if I dont see leads coming in with in the next 3 weeks.
Hi Jabaar - Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback and I'm sorry to hear you haven't found more success with us. If there's anything more you feel we could be doing, please don't hesitate to reach out to me at 646-768-3690 or gina.balistreri@yodle.com. Thanks, GB.
I have been very happy with the performance of my yodle account. The leads that it generates are usually excllenet. I do not track my account on a cost per click but rather as a return on investment. By that mesaurement, my yodle account has been much better than other forms advertising that I have used. -- Brian Schaeffer, Schaeffer Law Firm, Houston, Texas. www.schaeffer-law.com
I received a call from Ryan Mc Donald. One of yodels sales reps. He asked me if I could give him 30 minutes of my time to go over some power points. First off it wasn't 30 minutes at all. More like 2 HOURS! Ryan wasn't there to sell me the pitch so Mr. Jones did it for him. Mr. Jones was very very pushy. He disrespected me numerous times. After the call ended Ryan called me 2 days later and I spoke to him about his colgué. He just hung up while I was expressing my thoughts.
Hey Jacob,
That's not the experience we're going for, and we'll definitely look into this. Would you mind sending us the phone number you were called on via private message?

YODLE IS SUCCESSFUL!
We have been in business for 16 years. We have tried other Marketing Companies and had little success. Yodle has shattered all other competition. When it comes to Marketing, we have had record breaking months. For what they charge, we get a great return on our Investment. The Custmer Service is dynamic in all aspects.
Horrible! Dont ever let anyone take over your advertising. They knocked my website right off the map and put up their site with their phone number so anyone who googles your biz gets their phone number not yours. They would not taylor the site like they said, they put up this half $#*! site and just leave it there, they would not even cancel it after we begged them and now I have to sue them to get rid of them. GREAT ADD PEOPLE. $#*! YODLE
I am an SEO expert - Yodel claims that it builds websites that are SEO friendly for their clients. If you view the Yodel website using Firefox click ctrl + U or from Internet Explorer go to the View menu and click on source - now click ctrl+F and type h1. You will see that the Yodel corporate site itself has about 5 h1 declarations in the code - the most basic BASIC SEO rule is that you should have one, yes only ONE h1 declaration per page! This is basic, basic SEO and Yodel cannot even get it right on their own site! What do you think they will do for you, a small business owner, who probably is relying on Yodel to be the expert and to guide you in building your site and performing Search Engine Optimization. This company is a joke. You are better off going with a local consultant than with Yodel. Did you notice that there is not one example of an actual website they have built and optimized on their corporate site?
I am an attorney in immigrstion matters and General Practice in Flushing, NY. I contracted Yodle to help mame my new law offices marketable to new clients. I paid $230 every month for two months and had to discontinue for the third month. During those two months, I dI'd not receive one single call or email from any prospective clients. I downloaded email contact for about 67 emails and telephone numbers as well as reasonable reviews. Yodle did not provide me with a single client lead. I was left with big disappointment and worse than what my hope and asperasions were at the beginning. I am now doing direct ads with Google and Yahoo! Because that was what I needed in the first place, not the so-called generic website or what YODLE call adversite to used to mislead people into signing up with it for ads. I am now mulling on the next legal options to deal with this deception or what amounted fraud.
Jimmy – I’m Syvenna Siebert, the PR Manager at Yodle. Thank you for sharing your feedback. I read your review and am sorry to see that you were disappointed by your experience while you were a Yodle customer. I’d like to find out more about what happened and see if there is a way we can resolve this amicably. Could you please contact our Client Services Manager, Matt Hausman at (512) 730-4047 or mhausman@yodle.com when you have a moment?
Thank you,

I had an excellent experience with Yodle, especially with my Account Manager, Scott Rappaport, who worked with me to achieve the best results possible, which are quality leads and ultimately, SALES! From the design of my personalized website, to the geography I should cover, Scott helped guide me to achieve wonderful exposure and I was able to sign my largest new client in 2013! My ROI will be over 400% for this one client alone... Thanks Scott and the Yodle Team for all your efforts on my behalf! Paul Englund CPA
After trying a few different companies for SEO work and using Google Ads ourselves, Yodle reached out to us. We have received a significant amount of new leads using Yodle and the Dashboard service really helps us track our leads.
My experience has been that my emails are OBVIOUSLY not read, or ignored entirely and not replied to at all. They seem more concerned with keeping citysearch happy than keeping me, the CUSTOMER, happy. Terrible. Plus they charge 1500/ month for stuff I can do in-house for a few hundred, tops. This is a horrible rip-off scam, and they don't do anything other than dilute our traffic via their awful analytics system (setting up a 2nd website and directing traffic to it is SEO FAIL), ignore my emails, and waste our resources. Can we implement a lower rating?
As a small business owner you are always trying and hoping to make the right and smart decesions for your business. I have been a yodle client for the past five years. They have designed and managed my website and have sorced to my company many excellent and profitable leads in my market area. Through the years we have had some hiccups as any bussines relationship over a period of time will tell. However they have always been resolved. I have and will continue to reccomend Yoodle!
This has got to be the worst marketing experience I have ever been a part of. Save yourself and go ANYWHERE but here. SEO, Yelp, Fb, twitter.
They hijack your current branding, do a HORRIBLE job, and overcharge 3x what you would pay on any legitimate platform.
Run far far far away from this company.
I have had a great experience working with Meagan. I have gotten great results with the organic SEO and I love that I can listen to how my staff are handling incoming calls that come because the person has visited our website.
Answer: I received a few leads that actually worked out. However, it wasn't enough to justify using them in the first place. The leads seemed to come in when I had signed up for their "google ads marketing" addition. So basically, the google ads provided 80%-100% of the leads, not Yodle. I Would've been better off spending my money on Google Ads written myself.
Answer: Yodle only cost me money and quite a bit of frustration! Tony
Answer: I have a spare wet-vac if you have extra cash laying about. Give me a call. It would be a better application of energy use.
Answer: Run Forest Run. They make promises. They will put wrong info on the web. Who spends 600.00 Before a return if you gat that. Run Forest Run
Answer: Dont do it.
Answer: If you get a website made. The search engine go by the 2nd letter in order for your site to be pulled up quickly. You would be better off doing your own social media marketing, joining the BBB and Y and white pages of phone book. Magnetic vehicle signs, etc. Need more free tips email me at rstoutmire@yahoo.com subject line Javier S. Contractor. Hope this help you but don't pay any company any money for any work. Rhonda S.
The company has garnered a mixed reputation, with some customers praising its effective marketing strategies and responsive customer service, which have led to tangible business growth. Positive experiences often highlight knowledgeable representatives and personalized support. However, significant concerns have been raised regarding service consistency, particularly after a merger, with reports of deteriorating support, unprofessional behavior from sales staff, and difficulties in account management. Overall, while some clients report satisfaction and results, others express frustration over communication issues and perceived value, indicating a need for improved service reliability and customer engagement.
