It's become harder and harder to score points, especially when the links in their e-mail redirects you to the MyPoints site instead of the vendor. They don't bother to respond to questions, either. I've activated MyPoints for some purchases only to never receive confirmation/points. Swagbucks messed them up royally, so much so that I find myself using Rakuten more than MyPoints.

HOW CONVENIENT: you can just close someone's account when it suits you and never pay them for their hard work!

That is why people who spend hours, days, weeks working for you and your partners do not get rewarded for their efforts.

Disgusting!

The surveys are ridiculous and take too long with so few points. Also, when redeeming for an Amazon gift card in the past you would receive it right away. Now they have to process the order and let you know at a future date when your order is processed. Stay away from this site - it's a waste of time. Also, they have banned me from taking their surveys because according to them I did not answer correctly. I think they did not like my answers to their political questions.

Loved it years ago but the last few years the desktop extension is getting us no points and you can't get any customer service. Tried to use their form but can't ask a "General" question without giving all info for one activity and could not find a way to upload a "JPG" of my receipt so got nowhere. There are several good rebate programs without the MyPoints hassle. We'll probably delete the extension & not bother any more.

The magic receipts section of this site doesn't work well. Just this week I have had 4 receipts refused even though I had purchased the items needed. Example: strawberries my receipt showed 3 packs of fresh strawberries the site denied this receipt. Fetch works quicker for uploading than my points I am frustrated.

My account had been hacked and I reached out to customer service who did not respond at all. I was still waiting on a response from customer service when TrustPilot sent me a survey. I expressed my dissatisfaction. The next morning I attempted to logon to continue to check for customer service updates and they deactivated my account entirely without even emailing me. All my points are gone now. What a scam

It's not uncommon to take an entire survey and not get paid. Sometimes you can have a half hour invested and it be obvious the survey is complete and you still don't get paid.

Tip for consumers:
You can get gift cards but it’s pretty minimal for the time required

They dupe people out of crediting their account for surveys taken. They take too long to resolve survey tickets and gripes. They falsely close ticket without actually resolving them. When you show concrete evidence of prejudice disqualification surveys and technical difficulties accessing a survey, Mypoints refuses to credit. It gets worse when you complain the Better Business Bureau. You're a mark from then on.

I have been a very long-time user of MyPoints. Over the last couple of years this site has become very difficult to use in that you earn the points and they aren't rewarded and you have to jump through hoops to get the points you earned. Now they don't even bother to respond to support tickets, they just close the request without rewarding the points or responding in any way. Basically, they are stealing from their users. Absolutely not worth it!

I have been a member for years. Now that I want to redeem my points I can't. It tells me it has to verify my identity and asks for my phone number. I enter it and it tells me it is in use by another member even though my profile has my correct number. I have filled out several on line tickets for help but only get canned email responses and no resolution. I'm done. They can have the points and my in box will get cleaned up.

I have been a member since 2002 and now I am locked out of being able to get gift cards because it says i have had too many verification with phone complete bull crap! It has been many months now and the problem has not been fixed and have written several times and I get nothing, no help. The company that toke over a few years back is a junk company.

Mypoints will not give you the points promised. I signed up for a Varo account (20k bonus) and completed all steps required. No points. Contacted customer support and they have ignored my repeated requests for over a month now. I completed the requirements in March 2022. It's now end of June and no points. Reported to BBB. Trash site.

Seldom get to complete a survey. Most days every survey invite gives the above message; not even 5 pts for trying anymore.

The last several times I've redeemed points for a $5 or $10 gift card it takes them forever to send it. I've even went on the activity ledger and asked to resend and sent several emails and they just don't respond. In the past they came on the same day! Have they outsourced their customer service to a third world country like others? They do not provide phone numbers for their customer service problems, nor for their corporate office in San Francisco.

I earn points here daily when I can. It's very user friendly. I mostly do the surveys and every once in awhile I will do offers. I haven't had issues redeeming I usually get most things instantly once I redeem for the giftcard chosen. Their staff is also really nice. I haven't had anyone rude yet. I would definitely give them a try if you're into this kind of site. You won't be disappointed!

I had been doing surveys on my points for 6 months now and have cashed out several times and didn't have any problems until a couple of days ago I had earned about 6000 points and was getting close enough to get a 50 dollar gift card and all of a sudden my account was deactivated without any explanation my points is a big disappointment! So sad!

It USED to be a great site. Now there really are no options to earn decent points without attempting to be successful at a survey. VIdeos have changed to where you get nothing but 2 points for jumping through hoops. My time is much more valuable and I am just about done with this program. I will search for another that isn't so time-consuming! You should fire whomever made the most recent changes!

MyPoints worked well the first two times I used it, and I was able to convert my points into miles for my UA frequent flier program. Unfortunately, MyPoints didn't credit my points from the next three offers I met and their customer support has ignored my repeated requests for help in getting my points credited. So, I won't be using MyPoints again... Update: MyPoints has fixed whatever the problem was with crediting points, and all of my pending points have now been posted and credited! Kelly F.

I've been w/ mypoints for over 20 years never had an issue... now when I tried to redeem my earned giftcard it says I'm under review for 30 days... sounds like a scam... beware... do what I did now... write the BBB... if they get inundated with BBB complaints they will teach them a lesson

They are not as good as they used to be. Half the time you complete a survey and end up not getting your points. Now I have to do a screen shot when it is at 95% complete oor higher to prove that I took it. Even then, when you contact them tey send some pretyped bunch of crap. I respond, with my photo and still sometimes do not get my points. So who is cheating? Where are my points going? It is bad when you do surveys but you have to follow up on THEM to make sure they are dong what they are supposed to.

Well I just got kicked out with a reward pending because I'm 13. I'm 66. BBB time and I hope they go after these crooks. What a waste of time, It's not worth the time vs the risk they'll just boot you out! Second time if I don't count the email issue which was partly my fault. The customer service is always busy so that should tell you something!

Tip for consumers:
You try to cash your points and suddenly you don't qualify for reasons that are not true. I'm 66 not 13!

For many years I have been with my points and truly enjoyed the benefits.until NOW! I noticed points were MISSING from account. When I wrote and asked for help, they were very useless! They sent me an email insisting to access my camera? I told them I do NOT own a cell phone or a camera. I had someone take a pic of my license and and save it as a JPG for me. I attached it to the email back to them and they would not accept it. So for all the years that I was a loyal user of MyPoints, thanks for NOTHING. VERY UPSET with MyPoints and how they deal with resolving issues. My problem was NOT resolved, WHATSOEVER!

If you ANY issues and need help, don't expect much, IF ANY!
