My mother in law took Algaecal for several years. It did not work and she died a painful death from osteoporosis. She was bent double for years. She did not notice the small print which says the product is not approved by the FDA in USA and cannot be bought over the counter in the UK. There is a reason for that. It is an expensive con. Please do not waste your money on this product. Follow your doctor's advice instead. This company preys on older people with promises that cannot be kept and which comes at huge cost to people, both physically and financially. They should be ashamed.
I've been taking Algae Cal for a few months as directed and also Strontium Boost. My recent bone density test came back worse than 2 years ago. It did not work for me. I can't justify spending hundreds more on these capsules. I'm seeing a Rheumatologist very soon.

When I read about AlgaeCal Plus, their advertisements said you would see 10% improvement in one year. I had been diagnosed with osteopenia. After one year I went in and took my bone density test and not only had I not improved, I had gone into osteoporosis. I was 75 when I started in excellent health. One of my parents has osteopenia and this company promises that one's DEXA scan numbers would improve after 6+ months on their product, or they will refund your money. After a year taking of taking the product as directed, the numbers improved only by 0.10 - 0.40% which the doctor stated was essentially unchanged (per the report, "statistically insignificant"). We sent the report to the company but they refused to refund our money.
I've been using AlgaeCal for 9 months now and the results have been great. Seeing better results on my DexaScan and my bone mass / health is much better now. Goodbye osteoporosis!
