Every different country I've been to over the past few years I've had to either buy a local data / sim card or get scalped for roaming charges. Not anymore. Since I've started using the worldsim, I know exactly what my costs are, and I don't have to spend hours getting prepaid data/sim cards in each country.
If this wasn't good already, I've used their tech support line multiple times and have always had my issue resolved. Today I was assisted by Matt, who explained to me how to resolve the issue I was having (I'm in Germany at present and my German is non existent), and all is running again!

I have just had to pay 32 pounds to get a new sim card as they have decided to upgrade their system from 3G to 4G and to top it all off they have told me that I will also loose my number. (13 for the new card and 19 pounds delivery fee). Don't believe the website where they say free 3-5 day shipping as the online assistant told me this was not possible...
Very disappointed to loose my number and surely if they are the ones upgrading the sim cards and no longer supporting the old ones they should at least have covered the cost. Had it not been for the large amount of credit I still had, I would have wasted my time staying with them.
I have 2 Worldsim cards and thought it's a great idea to cut down on my roaming costs. In some countries it works fairly well, in others it's suppose to work but the bandwith is so slow it's not worth it. Now I'm roaming in Namibia and my Worldsim just stopped working on the first day. When I checked my account, they've charged me $7.25/MB for data. The helpline confirmed it should be USD 2.57/MB. This is higher than my normal cellphone company roaming cost. Now it must be escalated for technical to investigate.
Every time you top-up, you must contact them to get it reflected else you must wait until customer service one day see your order and decide to load it.
Late November, purchased a worldSIM 3G portable Router which came with a very easy set up. Could work very smoothly with laptop and my Mac. Speed got slower when I used the devices in long length, but within a decent distance, always performed very well. Found the device promising for cheap data tariffs and strong coverage.
My main reason for recommending any online company nowadays is the excellence of its support. For really good support there is no substitute for voice contact or chat in real time. Menu-driven FAQs are rarely sufficient. WorldSim's chat representative Nancy did a great job, dealt with my need cheerfully and swiftly. Give her a raise!
We have place order in dec 2018, however, the things we order run out of stock. So we request refund but until now feb 2019 we still not yet get back refund even we have been sending few emails to them n ask for refund but they did not response our email and also still pending refund to us. Purchased the WorldSIM multi tool pen that got some features to solve multiple tasks very easily. It performed alternative to some tools, that I needed while travelling. For measuring small objects this pen gave me imperceptible measurement. I had to find objects like pillow or bulky books to get straight view from my tab but now simply I put my tab in its phone dock. The pen is a perfect combination of different contributive tools.
They sent me an old sim that was not working properly. The assistance took 10 days to reply. That was after my trip, there was no use and I repeatedly asked a refund under the Consumer Rights Act. But they didn't even care to reply. I'm going to raise a dispute.
Also, I noted that the SIM was consuming credit because of data even if the data connection was disconnected!
In any case, you are much better off buying a local sim card. These WorldSIMs are way too expensive.
After insisting, I got a fake reply to my request. They misrepresented the facts, thus, confirmed that Worldsim is a fraud.

We never send old SIM to any of our customers. By mistake, if one gets, we replace it immediately without any charge. However, before replacing we check with the technical department.
Technically it's not possible to run data in the background when mobile data is turned off. Either mobile data or Wifi has to be "ON".

I know WorldSim for almost 7 Years. Im based in USA and by far this is the best sim card option you can purchase when you want to go overseas. Pretty much you get GSM coverage worldwide at the best roaming rates. They also have a excellent customer service, i guess they never sleep lol. Overtime i called or chatted with them they were available to assist. I guess they have so much customers worldwide and they got to accommodate everyones timing. I recently bough there new Sim card so i can use my iPhone, the old sim was not compatible. So got on their chat system and ROSE asset me quickly to activate and switch my balance from old sim to the new one.
Overall I'm happy with their service. Hope you can experience the same way :)

The Orbizz came to me as peace maker. When I roam around the world I think no other handset would benefit me the way what I got from the orbizz. Though the rate was not that much higher, my expectation toward the phone was little. But, when I made it use in different countries, I judge the phone very much travel friendly. Most of the time, I used it for surfing internet, listening favorite music and playing games. Most important issue with the product is that I never found it get hot while using it for long hours.
I bought a data only sim to use in my car, at no time was I made aware that the sim needed setting up in an unlocked phone. Following a unhelpful live chat to enquire about a refund because I am unable to set up the sim and my £20 credit will never be used. A refund cannot be given unless the sim is defective. I am obviously very dissatisfied in this companies information and refund policy.

Answer: To set up data, I believe you require to set the APN as mobiledata. And their return is around 2 weeks from the day you receive the product.
