I have had my 8 x 8 hobby greenhouse for a few years now. Love it but wish I now had purchased the next size. Took 2 of us a few days to put together but is very sturdy! Not thrilled with the sliding doors as they get stuck when opening (front and back). Automatic vents above are great! Overall a great little greenhouse!
If you love gardening but think your flowers don't have a specific, desired place in your home, then World of Greenhouses is for you. You offer metal or wooden structures so that your flowers have a nice place in your home space, you can get it at crazy prices, what are you waiting for?
Stay Away From This Company! I ordered a greenhouse a month ago. Other than an initial email stating my order was received, I have not heard anything. They have not returned emails or phone calls. I believe this company is a scam. I would give less than one star if possible. Beware!
Charging a card before the order ships is not ok, worse after all my attempts to contact them for a simple order update there is zero responses. I would cancel my order but can't reach anyone. Bad customer service is one thing but no customer service is something else.
Purchased a 6x3 garden box online. Received an immediate (automated) confirmation of purchase. After eight (8) days and repeated attempts to contact someone at the company, using multiple email addresses asking for an update, I never received a single response. I finally requested that my order be canceled -- though guessing that request will be unsurprisingly unfulfilled.
As others have said already, it's one thing to have bad customer service; it's another thing entirely to have *no* customer service.
Bought a Grandio Elite 8x16 greenhouse on sale last December. I had a handyman assemble it in June. I needed a greenhouse to overwinter citrus plants During NewEngland winters. I thought this was a good choice. Turns out to be a bad choice. It is not weather tight at all. Told the customer service rep what I needed it for. She didn't advise me that this was not weather tight. I have no idea how to weatherize a barn style door. In addition the two automatic vent openers do not work. I. called three times and left messages in as many months for someone to return my call. No response. I emailed them too. No response. I'm out four thousand dollars for a greenhouse that I can't use for it's intended purpose. Really pissed. Do not buy from this company.
So far, this is working out very nicely. Great product. We messed up the instructions for assembly and they were really nice to email us new instructions. Would buy from them again in a heartbeat.
The appearance of the greenhouse we ordered seems to be good. The only issue we had was the shipping of packages (6). The largest box was ripped open while in transit. We have tried to do an inventory but cannot find any instructions or packing list for the greenhouse itself other that the optional anchor kit. It also appears the fasteners needed are missing as well. We will not be putting the greenhouse up for several months due to weather and the need for a concrete base. Again this is not the companies fault but probably the shipper, (UPS) as there were 12 different points of handling. It will just add more time for the reorder of any needed fasteners.
I placed my order and 5 days later it was still not shipped. Called and there was no answer, went directly to voicemail of a cell phone. Not that that is a huge issue but it was during business hours and I didnt get a return call. Canceling my order took a few days also.
Very fast shipping, compact greenhouse was securely packaged & arrived safely. Greenhouse was tough to assemble as not all pieces fitted perfectly well. Had to make some adjustments in order for some pieces to fit. Overall, it was an average product with some manufacturing issues but no fault of WoG.
What a great organization to work with. Thrilled with their customer service. I haven't been able to put the garden together yet (a ton of rain here in North Carolina) but it looks very straight forward. Their customer service department was able to help get the order to me right away. Thank you so much!
Poorly designed. Extremely difficult to assemble. The bolts in the corners are too long and can ONLY be tightened with the smallest of ignition wrenches! Two people are needed to assemble. It must be assembled outdoors or in a shop with 10' ceilings! I build and restore vehicles. I have a shop with nearly every tool imaginable. This was a huge mistake to buy this little flimsy greenhouse! Junk!
I purchased an item on a Friday and had to contact them the following Wednesday after getting no shipping information from them. 1 chat, 2 emails and 2 phone calls later I finally got a response promising a follow up with more detail -- that never arrived.
I eventually contacted the manufacturer to obtain my shipping information and, after almost 3 weeks, am still waiting for the item to arrive.
The gentleman was pleasant and answered all my questions. Went well. I really have nothing else to say, since I can't recall everything that went on during that conversation. He did ask why I was interested in this particular green house and that is it.
We like the kit for mini greenhouse. It was a little difficult to figure out how to fit it together and to make the holes line up for screws. I can let you know more when it gets used!
My husband was able to put it together by himself in a couple hours, and it turned out great! I was concerned because the cedar wood seems soft, but in the directions it tells you to line the box with plastic, which makes sense, to keep the wood from rotting.
The customer service of World of Greenhouses is just outstanding. They responded to my inquiry very quickly, on a weekend, and did tremendous amounts of follow-up to answer my questions and resolve an issue. This is an outstanding company that I would highly recommend.
There are a lot of parts and pieces to put together (definitely not a weekend project for one person). I tend to be a bit of a perfectionist, so it took an entire weekend to get my foundation squared and level. Overall, the parts fit together very well, the plans are nicely detailed, sequential, and easy to follow.
I ordered our greenhouse on a Monday and had it delivered on Thursday! We haven't put it up yet but if the quality is anything like the service... all I can say is WOW!
I was very pleased with the "real" chat service. I had several questions before I made my purchase. Every question was answered. And afterwards I received an email from a representative to assist me in customizing my order.
