I've had my new fireplace grate for a few weeks now and really like the elevated stance as it enhances the view from the great room and a more complete burn. The downside is I cant stack the firebox full to burn overnight, but I use the fireplace as ambiance more than a secondary heat source.
Time will tell the quality of the grate, but it appears to be well made and will not warp or deflect over time like the stock grate that came with the fireplace.
