Advertised as 'Good condition'. Nothing like it. Virtually ever page covered in detailed scribbled notes & highlighted. Contacted WOB. Not even a reply. Example of 'Good condition' below. This is typical of most pages.
I am a primary tutor so I use a lot of books with my students, I've thoroughly enjoyed ordering childrens' novels and plan to continue.
I won't be spending a fortune on new books from high-street book stores, when I can buy them, reuse them and pass them on. The books still have lots of reading life in them and they were pre-loved and read by others, even before I received them.

I'm generally very pleased with my orders. Delivery is always quick and dvd quality is as described. However, on this occasion and recently, another, I've been left slightly disappointed. With regards Green Wing boxset, dvd condition wise, I would say good, not very good.( I used to sell dvds and books online for a local charity for several years)

Another swift delivery, with books packaged safely. I've use wob for years but I'm especially delighted to be a customer right now. I've discovered I have a few authors in the family but most of their books are old and out of print. I've managed to track dozens down on the wob website so an even bigger thank you than normal for their fantastic service.

This is a well reviewed hardback book by an award winning author and almost half the full price. It has been used and is a little worse for wear on the outside but fine inside! Good to be recycling...

I've ordered and received approximately ten books over the last two years and each one has been in better condition than described, Most appear to have been unread. Delivery is and books are packaged neatly as well. Highly recommended!

Shocked at such poor customer service or any service for that matter. I ordered an item 17 days ago paying extra for express delivery and I am yet to receive it. Apparently as per tracking details Royal Mail are yet to receive it. It was due as per the email within 4 days. The phone number of WOB doesn't allow you to speak to anyone just directs you to email addresses. And those, despite saying they will respond within 24/48 are yet to reply some 7 days later. This includes the 'bot' system. How dare a company take your money without providing a product. This company does not appear trust worthy. I realise I am going on my experience but not to have a way of contacting or communicating with a company is very suspicious but is quick to take your money.

Books delivered within few days of ordering. Initially had some issues turning pages of a book that was primarily images, however once out of packaging and gently pried open pages. Some pages were more stuck together than others but suspect due to not being opened for ages, possibly wedged tightly on a shelf or flat under pile of other books. The rest of the books were great.

Paid $60 for an item and it never got delivered. Customer service took an entire 24 houts to reply and didn't help when they did. They just told me to contact UPS and I've now begun an endless wild goose chase that could take another few weeks of waiting for a package that will likely never come. Waste of time, energy, and money. Take your business elsewhere.

I ordered a whole set of books of 13 but they shipped only 1 book, Now I can't even get in touch with them. All their links on their email are fake and no one answered the phone. They are not honest people!
Of four packages of book received all four were damaged at the corners luckily the books were ok. It is no good boasting that your packaging is eco-friendly if it doesn't do the job intended. There is no protection from the carrier throwing it about which they must have done, Parcel Force delivered one package very late and so battered and split open that they had to place it in a clear plastic bag.

I have bought many books especially arts and crafts, ive recently bought calligraphy books, they have a wide range of books in all categories all at great prices, with really good delivery service, best of all is getting to re use old books some books are nearly new, brilliant place for books.

I ordered, didnt hear from them for 10 days despite chasing through the contact bot. Order showed on my account as confirmed. Eventually I had an email saying they were sorry but they had a lot of demand for the book and it was now out of stock so they would send me a refund. The website still said they had 2 copies of the book! This is my 5 th purchase from them... but I won't buy from them again unless I can't find what I want somewhere else. And they still haven't refunded me through PayPal. Very disappointed.

The service is great, quick & easy, however, the description of condition does NOT match what is sent out. The price is very good but I would rather have paid a little more for better quality. As this was intended as a gift, then overall i was disappointed. Will be wary ordering again.

I am a retired, highly qualified industrial chemist, I am old fashioned and still prefer books for study to a computer for a number of reasons. I boosted the quantity of the books in my library recently with a large number of editions at very reasonable prices. Excellent.
But, there is a catch if you order through eBay, it is necessary to go back to them over any shortfall!
I found ' sitejabber ' invasive, almost threatening and OTT! The written word should be accepted without all the ' add ons ' demanded / - note the pushy use of ' WHY '! That is getting Personal, ' Back Off! '. DL.

These books were requested by my granddaughter as she had read one at school but are now out of print. This site is a great way to recycle books and bring great reads to a new generation. The books received were in a good condition. Okay a little more expensive than from a charity shop but I was able to buy the whole set in one hit. Books arrived on time. What's not to like?

I purchased a book through their ebay. It says fast and free delivery. I'm past the latest delivery date and its not in transit. The carrier hasn't even received it. I wish I checked here first because they have a lot of stars on ebay. I've sent a message through ebay with no response. They took my money with no delivery of good or service.
