Have used WOB for individual titles and for the most part they're ok. But I ordered three books from a set (LOTR) with matching covers from the website and got completely different versions, that didn't match the pictures or each other - quite annoying given that they had lots of different versions listed with pictures and I spent a long time searching for the right covers.

As a first time user was satisfied with the result. Would generally not consider buying a second hand book without handling it first. Since the item was out of print decided to try WOB. Item generally as described and condition acceptable, would use again.

The service is great, quick & easy, however, the description of condition does NOT match what is sent out. The price is very good but I would rather have paid a little more for better quality. As this was intended as a gift, then overall i was disappointed. Will be wary ordering again.

Very responsive and really appreciate that. Strong on follow up communications via email. Emails with four different customer service advisers. Got a bit dizzy! The BIG issue is the packaging which caused the major delay in getting the books. I received 4 books all within flimsy plastic packaging which split the packaging and then held by Royal Mail for 3 weeks and then had to be repackaged by them! Consequently WOB resent 3/4 books so I now have duplicates. The second lot arrived within 48 hours and of course, the packaging was lighter and didn't break so easily, however, the plastic was still damaged.

My partner & I have been ordering books from WOB for a while now and we are both more than delighted with our various purchases. Not only are the books usually in better condition than we expected, but the delivery is always (so far!) spot on time, and in keeping with the very welcome text updates we get to let us known what's going on.

I now don't bother looking at other on-line book sites. For some time I have just used WOB and so far it has never let me down.
