Very disappointed after ordering a book from WOB. I bought it as it advertised as 'very good' condition. It was really bad with significant writing throughout. In addition it still had that it cost them (I am assuming) £6... yet they still charged me £30+. They offered a 50% refund (which means they still made a good profit) but also argued that 'very good' was still met as markings were not covered. Buyer beware!

Tried to order the same book twice, with no explanation as to why they refunded only the cost of the book. They kept the $12+ dollars in taxes that they charged me. Not to mention the multiple foreign transactions fees. Still no book. Totally UNACCEPTABLE!

I was disappointed to see the plastic bag had split, which meant the books dust covers were slightly exposed. Difficult to know whether damage was already there as 2 books were not new, but if the protective packaging is just a thin plastic post bag then I suppose that's to be expected the risk of damage is there. At least it hadn't rained, unfortunately I didn't think to take a photo so I've not got evidence which I appreciate is not helpful.
