Wisecars exceeded my expectations in every way possible. Their website was easy to navigate, and I was able to find a great deal on a rental car for my trip. Their customer service team was friendly and knowledgeable, and they were able to answer all of my questions and provide valuable advice. When I needed to modify my reservation, the process was quick and straightforward, and I never felt like I was being charged hidden fees or costs. Overall, I was extremely impressed with Wisecars and would definitely use them again for any future car rental needs.
This company charges fees that are not there. You pay an "airport recovery fee" for a company that is located 5 km from the airport and that does not have a shuttle service or office at the airport. You also pay 2x the price you book because there is no insurance, even though I paid $126 deductible protection. I call such people scammers, the message is to stay away.

I rented a car for my holidays through Wisecars as it was much cheaper than going directly with the car rental company. The procedure was easy, important information was highlighted. I was a bit worried about the pick up, but it turned out just as easy! I showed the voucher, signed the papers with the supplier and went on the trip! I would definitely recommend.

Although initial email said I had a guaranteed booking the voucher they send 2 days prior snuck in new terms about a 2 hour pickup time from noon for my flight that got in at 630pm. They canceled my reservation and denied a car to me, my baby, husband, sister and 2 nephews. The 6 of us had to hustle exhausted around the airport and find a new car rental for twice as much. Those people treated us like humans though wisecars/priceless was shameful. Beware - if it looks too good to be true it is in this case! I had a "guaranteed booking with protection package" ha- lies.

This company really does seem to be based around fraudulent business practices. I can't understand how they can be permitted to remain in operation. We prepaid and we not permitted to take a vehicle because of some vague violation of Wisecars policy. However, we rented through a 3rd party and so were not provided with these policies which are different than other company's standard policies. We have spend hours trying to get this worked out but we are just getting the runaround. I've cried many tears over our treatment. FRAUDULENT!

We do agree that sometimes this can be a lot of information and that's why we highlight the most important terms during booking and send out emails with highlighted important information. DO NOT, under any circumstances, use this company. Their 'service' is less than worthless. It is actually a hinderance to travel. We thought we had a guaranteed reservation, showed up at the airport and were told there are no cars. They have several reasons why they can't refund the money, so when I mentioned that we would deal with it through our credit card company the representative said, "Oh, you don't want to do that." When I asked why not, I was told that in the case of a forced credit chargeback, the service agents will stop trying to help or communicate. That's ok. They aren't really helping or communicating anyway. WHAT. A. NIGHTMARE.

Arrived Zihautanejo with voucher for $603.00. That was odd since I paid $433.00. Went to Hertz with the "non-refundable voucher and was told reservation didn't exist, wasn't in their system and that the "supplier " was fictitious. Run from this company. They are crooked.

I have called for cancellation a week before and they have not canceled my booking.
When I got voucher email then I called them so representative explain that you only asked about cancellation procedure and decline to give me my pre-charged amount.
They always explain their rigid 48 hr policy.
I explain the reason why I am not traveling due to bad health condition. But at end of call they declined to give my refund.

They simply made me pay 680$ for a car that the supplier did not want to give me without me paying 1200$ extras because the insurance tat Wisecars gives you is actually fake and non existent.
They obviously did not want to refund me, even after that i did reject the contract with the supplier and did not take the car.

Would give zero stars if I could. I booked my rental with Wisecars to pick up a rental in San Antonio with Fox Rent A Car. Fox did not have what we needed so the cancelled our reservation and said that we should call WiseCars and WiseCars would refund us. I called WiseCars and for a week they kept saying, "oh the necessary documentation isn't in blah blah blah to process your refund. After a week of this they said that they never refund in these situations. So not only did they not refund me, they never intended to, and wasted hours more of my time calling in. In the end, it was less than $250 for me but I will never rent from these crooks again and advise everyone else to steer clear. Even if the rental car place cancels your reservation, they will not refund your money.

Rented a car in Denver. Price due at pickup was $89.71. My receipt at pickup was over $149. I was told to take it up with Wisecar directly. My credit card was charged over $171. Called Wisecar and got no help and no refund for overcharges. Stay away - You think you are getting a good deal but they overcharge you after the fact. Total scam company!
So glad that I stumbeled across Wisecars page. I have used many other services, but never been so satisfied. The whole process of renting a car with you was quick and easy. My referral said I'd pay the $68 tax at the gate/rental booth. I had to pay $176. It seems like you pay wisecars a deposit to get your name on the rental list, but then you pay full price at the booth

While we do require a deposit to secure your reservation, the remaining balance, including taxes and fees, is typically paid directly at the rental booth or gate upon vehicle pickup.
If the voucher is shown at the pick-up, you will only be charged the estimated ''paid locally'' amount for the taxes and fees. Usually, any other extra charges are for additional products/insurance that the customer agrees to add at the counter. You are not charged again for the rental days which were already pre-paid.

I reserved a car for a week, paid in advance. I wanted my son-in-law to drive and there was only room for one person, so I made him the driver. When we got to Thrifty, sil did not have a physical credit card. They would not take the number, would not change it to me, would not take a debit card, would not take cash. They said we had to get a refund from Wisecars, but they refused, saying that we were considered a "no show" because we did not have a form of payment they would accept. I'm out over $500.
I made a reservation through Wise Cars but ended up canceling because my mom passed and I had to change my travel plans (note: the cancelation policy was free as long as I notified the company in advance, which I did - giving several weeks' notice). Nonetheless, I was charged $200 because the car vendor said I was a "no show." I even provided email evidence that I had cancelled in advance, yet the company didn't give me a refund. Don't ever use Wise Cars, they are terrible and make you pay for your mistake, instead of taking responsibility for their mistakes.

I have checked your reservation and can see that you contacted us on the 10th of June requesting a modification, not a cancellation. We offered you another vehicle (as the original car that you booked was not available for given dates) and asked you if the car class was suitable for you. After this, you stopped responding to our emails so we thought you wanted to leave the booking as it was.
The next time you contacted us it was 24 days after the pick-up asking to cancel the reservation, when the free cancellation window had already expired. Unfortunately, the car rental company has already taken payment for the No-Show fee due to not cancelling this order before the cancellation window expired and therefore, no refund can be issued in this case.
