We've enjoyed pairing wines with our dinners for 30 years now. For at least 15 of those, we enjoyed shopping local wine stores to pick our selections. But, because we have a limited budget and were developing a discriminating taste, we were increasingly frustrated by many of our own selections! Over the years, 10+, I've been ordering a case from Wine Insiders every so often. Decent wine with which to explore and grapes from many parts of the world. Not everything matches my palette, but I've never had a bad bottle. I consider that part of the tasting experience and enjoyment of wine. My preference is white, but I'll buy a mixed case as well. I do go to wine shops and am a member of a couple of wineries as well. It's nice to be in those environments. Every so often Wine Insiders will have a real deal on a case which of course makes my wallet happy and it's easier to e-shop. So, overall, I'm satisfied with their products and service.

Finally, a resource for great California wines that doesn't require me to sign up for automatic shipments. I can order when I'm ready and the prices are very competitive for excellent wines. My order was received very soon after I ordered. One bottle was broken on delivery, so I made a phone call to Customer Service and the issue was resolved in a matter of just a few minutes. This will be my primary source of wines from now on.

I've always received my orders promptly and the wines have been fairly priced and of good quality. My only complaint is that I will occasionally receive an email advertising 30% off or some other discount but when I complete my order, it's not there, and there's no code to put into the order to enable the discount. Frustrating.

Wine Insiders has been supplying my wine for over eight years. After a while, I learned what wines I liked and usually order just those. I try a new one once in a while. The best value is to wait for their special sales. They send e-mails about every other day with some offer, but holding out for an $8/bottle sale has been the best value.

I understand that more people may be ordering wines online, but it is disappointing that Wine Insiders have raised their prices by at least 20-25% on most bottles to capitalize on this. Also the interesting sets of 12,15 or more bottles of special offers that I used to get e-mails about 2-3 times a week have totally disappeared. Supporting and being faithful to existing customers seems to have been dropped in favor of selling more wine at higher prices to more people.

I've been purchasing from Wine Insiders for a little over three years now. What really draws me to the company is that you are not obligated to join on a subscription basis unlike many other wine clubs. I have been traumatized by the price of decent wine in the United states, since moving back here from France, where good wine can be had at low prices. I have tried several different online wine deals. I appreciate them all, but wine Insiders is the only one that really delivered on high quality wines at low prices. The others had nice looking bottles but the wine inside was harsh or off tasting. All the lines I've had through the wine Insiders deals have been very nice and included International wines of good quality. It was so nice to have some nice French wines included. I highly recommend their service.

I've been using Wine Insiders almost exclusively for buying wine since I was introduced by a family member more than a year ago. I love it and will go nowhere else for wine. There is no contract to buy into, the quality is outstanding and the prices can't be beat. Seriously. When I was a member of past wine clubs, as soon as I liked a wine, they would sell out and I wouldn't be able to buy it outside of the club. Here, I can continuously buy my favorites and they store my rankings in case I forget which ones I like. Shipping is free and delivery happens within a few days. A few times I needed to contact customer service and got personal, near immediate service. I can't say enough about them except, "Please don't change or go away!"

For me, Wine Insiders stands out among the endless online wine purchase offers, in part, because there is no need to join a club and free shipping is usually available. With many other wine sellers shipping can be costly and joining a club is just another thing to add to the "manage this" list. Also, WI pricing is reasonable, the website works great, and many of the wines are pretty good too for the price. I can't think of a reason not to include Wine Insiders in your wine buying options.

Have been buying here for several years and have yet to be disappointed. Only one of several hundred bottles was not to our liking and we used it for cooking. While selection was, understandably, somewhat limited during the Health Crisis the communication was good and they offered additional discounts on the next order when delivery was delayed.We remain regular customers.

I had 2 deliveries. The first one came quickly and was delivered on the day expected. The second was damaged in transit but according to my tracker, it was delivered. When I looked into it with my FedEx tracking number I discovered that my shipment was damaged and sent back. No one contacted me about what happens next so I waited. After two weeks went by I called the customer service number who advised me to send an email that produced quick results!

The wines and pricing are ok. The selection is rather limited and hardly vary. Every single time I try to order and am in the checkout process, at least one wine is unavailable making you loose discounts. Why can't they know this before you go through checkout! However, delivery is good.
Coupons you get with your order NEVER work. Usually, the company sends coupons to use on your next order. To date, they have either already been expired or don't work when you put the code in on-line.
This company has a deal where you send an invite to anyone to join the club and once they purchase with the coupon, you are supposed to get a coupon as well. I sent invites to 2 different people and never received my coupon after each one joined and purchased. I did call, they verified that both of the people I invited purchased. So, I received one coupon after calling and complaining, not the 2 I should have gotten. Tired of having to fight for every little thing that is promised with this company.
I have bought from Wine Insiders for over two years and have NEVER been disappointed. I'm not a wine snob, I just enjoy decent wines. Wait for sales on the 15 bottle case and buy them. I seldom select specific bottles and have enjoyed their generic mixed cases. Prices are always below $10 per bottle and some sales drop that price to about $5 per bottle. Try to beat that.

I have ordered from this company for several years, before Wine Insiders bought out Heartwood and Oak. I feel the quality of wine has gone down, the prices have gone up, and overall is less satisfactory than before. They have undergone a number of changes through this corona-virus time, and are overcoming their shipping challenges, but overall I am less satisfied. I have since purchased from other companies for more reasonable prices. When I have attempted to contact the company for purchases that were less than expected, they have not responded.
