They stole $ 245.85 from me.and that's corporate that did this.and they violated my first ammendment rights
I worked there for 2 months. They have people in places that are not qualified. Shane in transportation has never drove a truck. He sits and watches people on camera all day like a snitch waiting to tell on someone! If you hire someone you should allow them to do their job. They claim their the safest company in the industry. They only service 30 stores in places that are not hard to get too. Plus they drive at night with little traffic. They also can't give you a schedule. Your called everyday at noon to choose your route. That's so pathetic when you just got off work at 10 am and just fell asleep. They are the worst grocery chain to drive for. If you want a good job that just wants you to do your job and give s great benefits. Go to Safeway. They don't micro manage! You will need to have great driving skill or you won't like where they send you! Sharon and Shane need to be fired. Poor management wasted miles. They don't know how to utilize their equipment. I came back empty 90% of the time instead of doing backhauls or cleaning up stores.
I like winco is the only store with great selection of stuff from mexican asian into american products. Even mediteranian goods! And so affordable.
I lost my virginity in the family bathroom here. Very pogchamp. I feel bad for the children who had to witness it though. 8/10
The prices may be really great but the service in this place is not good at all there's eight people in every line only four lines open and nobody from the management team will come to help on the registers. People work in the registers are moving like molasses. Maybe that's how they keep the prices low.
Winco's website's search engine/platform is terrible. You can't find a thing you're searching for. I've tried to find stuff on their website since October of 2021, and even in February 2022. I still can't find anything I'm searching for.
I do shop a small amount here but only for certain things because of cost. I do like their product over Walmart it tends to be cheaper and I like their bulk for peanuts and sunflower seeds in the shell. Their dairy dept is not bad comparable. But for what I normally buy in the grocery dept most is more expensive. So I do the majority of my shopping elsewhere. I never recommend Winco to anyone only because I believe they are more expensive in the long run.
This review is for the Winco store in north Phoenix, 330 W Bell Rd. Unless you go and do your shopping during the middle of the night, this store NEVER has enough check stands open, and enough checkers working to alleviate long long lines. Depending on the time of day, getting in and out quickly is not possible. Like the prices on most items, but the service leaves a LOT to be desired
Low prices for low quality.
Be careful of multiple ringups for one item. Check your receipts no really check them.
Be careful of expiration dates. Check the dates if you can. They can be out of date or possibly reworked or smudged out.
Asking for help or if help is offered turns out to be pointless. Customer service is problematic for the workers there. Being a step up from dollars stores doesn't justify their attitude.
I hardly ever write reviews and if I do they are not usually negative ones.
The below photos are of the right hand side of WinCo (1175 North Happy valley road Nampa Idaho) I am warning any and all customers (especially those with children!
There's a empty field and it is completely COVERED in very full grown goat heads! There is no warning signs, no fence not a single safety precaution to not walk on, or near this field I spoke to Steve the manager tonight about it so I hope they get it taken care of! Also their women's bathroom was disgusting there was poop on all the toilets Hopefully they get their business put together in a more clean safely manner because it is absolutely uncalled for.
So like I said please watch your kids around this WinCo because that field is completely caked in goat heads! Tonight I got stuck in the middle of it standing on a for sale sign (thankfully it was there). My husband had to hurry from across the street after pumping gas and drive up into the field to come get me! Now his tires are completely COVERED with hundreds of goat heads
I am hoping that none of the tires pop because we do not have money to replace tires at the moment and I will be contacting WinCo if they do and hope that they will do something about it because this is absolutely ridiculous!
So I spend $63 in groceries on April 30th 2020. And I have a cashier argue with me about whether I'll use to bag three bags or four bags for bag credit. Apparently they're told by management to decide how many bags the customer can use. I don't think a cashier should argue in about one bag. I've been in there before and I had an attitude from cashiers expressly the new cashiers what you seem to have a turnover on. And I had one episode I got overcharged for water and they gave me a hard time because I didn't like being overcharged to water. So apparently a management at the WinCo or waremart in Independence Oregon does not hire cashiers that have any sort of respect for the customers and don't seem to care if they have a job or not. Since the customer does support their job. So because this I go to the store less often, unless I really feel like I need to
I find WinCo to be the best grocery store in town. The best customer service, produce, meat, bakery, deli...a pleasant place
I bought 3 packages of some prepared sushi (2 California rolls and 1 salmon roll, total price $24, just yesterday, September 12,2021 and it clearly not fresh. The cucumbers and the crab meat tasted stale, the rice was a sticky wet mess, absolutely terrible. I also bought what was supposed to be a pecan pie. Didn't taste anything like a pecan pie, again, stale pecans on top of a disgustingly sweet sugary paste. Felt like I was eating a glob of that paste, and nothing else. Of course I tossed all the rest of the good away after only a few bites. Sucks after having to pay for all that food and then not eating it, because it wasn't edible. Wasn't even worth it for me to feed the seagulls and other birds. The submarine sandwiches are dry, one can easily choke on them while eating. The guy at the fresh food counter was not wearing a face mask or gloves while serving me and other customers. On top of that, they're talking about other people in an insulting way and very loudly, so other customers can hear them. Overall, low quality food, fresh or packaged. Your prices are not that much lower than other supermarkets anyway. You will never be able to beat Super King's prices! Will not be going back! So goes the saying, "You get what you pay for". The WinCo in Ventura on Telephone road.
I have typically been shopping here for 10 years, but rethinking things as I went to my coupon account with Winco and they now want my cell # in order for the coupon download. I don't believe it was like that previously. I contacted the company a few times via their website/email, I have gotten a response indicating they are looking into it and that is it. I tried opening a new account, entered a land line, indicated I would skip the mobile phone entry, and then it mandates a cell phone for a code to be entered online. Really? Mandating a cell phone number for coupons? Why do they want that? Many people are not going to do that and many dont have cell phones and some don't text... so instead of sending a code to your email address which is your log in, they want your cell phone...
One negative I have found in the store is that one better check the dates for things like yougurt and other perishables. Sometimes the date is past or very close to the date of purchase - and I can't eat a quart of yogurt in a few days...
I went to WinCo on West Bell Ave in Glendale, AZ. As u entered u noticed a freezer to my left full of chicken leg quarters. They had these 10 lb bags for $7. I thought it was a good deal so I bought one. It took a while to defrost it but I managed. It smelled bad even when it was frozen. I took the skins off and washed the leg quarters. I cut up three large onions, some garlic and some green peppers and roasted the chicken with all that and put several spices on the chicken, any meat would have lost its funky smell with all that but not this chicken. I don't know what was wrong with these chicken legs but no amount of cooking would help and they haven't come up with a spice that could make those chicken legs suitable for human consumption. No matter what I did or how many spices I used this chicken was absolutely disgusting and it smelled like road kill. I don't recall what the brand was, some generic brand but it was awful and I probably will become a vegan after this. I have even boiled it for hours in tomatoes sauce but it is truly revolting. I tried feeding some of it to the neighbors dog and even he didn't want it and that dog is a pitbull that eats everything. I would like to sue the company that provides that foul and piutrid chicken. Honestly I would not feed that to anyone and WinCo should not be selling such disgusting product to anyone.
I go once a month. Spend about $200. Very happy with selection and prices around our area are unbeatable. Love winco.
Store # 0125 Today for the first time I visited a WinCo Store to make a business purchase on a recommendation from a fellow business owner. I needed ham for a catering request so I purchase a few hams and within 30 mins after the leaving the store the customer cancel so naturally I went back to the store within the hour. The store assistant manager Bethany said the company policy does not allow returns on perishable items. I asked to see such a policy in which she could not produce. Then I proceed to asked her where in the store it was posted that let the consumer know of such policy on perishable items her response was " there was none posted but it exists in the company policy" one that she could not produce. I then asked for the manger above her and again she is only one and gave me business card for corporate. I proceed to go online to WinCo's return policy and there was nothing stated on perishable items. So in other words the Store Managers have the power to descriminate on which customers to accept returns on. I will never return to WinCo or recommend this store to anyone. Buyer beware.
Once touched you can't returned no matter what. Always read the very very small price on advertized items.
Purchased some cake truffles and they had mold all over them. Call the store and the person answering the phone had no sympathy for my problem.
