Whole Foods Market is my preferred grocery store for its commitment to quality, sustainability, and variety. The store offers a wide selection of organic and locally sourced products, including fresh produce, artisanal cheeses, and gourmet prepared foods. While prices can be higher than conventional supermarkets, I appreciate the transparency and integrity of Whole Foods' sourcing practices.
Whole Foods in DC. Trying to force everyone to use self-checkout which my wife and I have tried and hate. Only one live cashier. We just had 35 min wait to checkout with only two people ahead of us! We used to do 95% of our shopping at WF at about $200 a trip. Now, we do about 5% there, if that much. No longer willing to pay extra high prices for extra poor service. Having only one cashier is poor business.
Yes,
I was standing next to shelves choosing goods, bat suddenly one young employee said to me:"Go out from here, there is a hand truck will come soon." Honestly, I was shocked. I never ever had this before... in any store. I watched the spot and yes, less then a minute a hand truck was passing by. I do not like this. I left, did not buy anything. Bad store ethic
They had better quality stuff before and focused on local procurement of products and produce. I'm sad beucsse I love the store so much.

I am a regular customer at wholefoods. I am giving the three stars, because usually the employees were nice to me and friendly, but here I go in the store to get me some soap for me to bath with. This employee comes to me all of sudden out of nowhere telling me to cover up myself men are talking about you dirty! Instead of correcting the men, he is coming at me like I was the problem. An here I am minding my own business, he walks on the isle to where I am at to tell me that. Now at first the girl that work there just complimented me and here he comes telling me I shouldn't dress the way that I dress for men are talking. It is the men problem, I didn't come in this store for no man. Now get this white women come in there with short shorts that shows the butt cheeks at the bottom. I had on a bikini top with a black covered cardigan on, my shorts are short but no butt cheeks hanging out with some heels. But I am dressing inappropriately for men they say, while they talking about me they say. I really think because I am a black creole that I am athletic and curvy is the reason why this employee said that. Seriously at this store white women come in with short shorts all the time, but when I do it, it is a problem. Very discriminating wholesfoods and you need to hire employees that keep their mouth shut or customers will not shop there anymore and no money making will be made. I am sorry I had to write this review, because the employees usually were nice to me, but this takes the cake for me. The employees definitely has changed.
A family member of mines was going to whole to pick up a online order and could find a online pick up parking spaces and also it looked like the people that were parking there were not getting an online pick up and this situation almost got her car hit. But the peppermint bites we got were great
This is the third time I have shopped and come home and am missing items I was charged for? Where do they go? Are they just not bagged? Left there. I bought 4 bananas, 3 came home. I bought 6 yogurts, 5 came home. Watch your groceries being packed.

For a string of fabulous stores, I would expect more from the site.
Not that they would have to... but there is room for other types of shopping experiences. Many of the products could be sold online. Especially the supplements and non perishable products, but they don't do that.
Often, I can't find local store info. The website seems like a bit of a waste of space. You think you are going to find recipes or cooking classes or even the possibility of CSA info. But there is very little content on their website.
And very few photos! Since the stores are filled with beautiful produce, and each store has an in store artist, you would think the site could be more aesthetically pleasing.
Expensive products but useful if you don't have time to shop. It hasn't made me want to stop shopping in store and picking my own fresh products though.
