I went to the Whataburger on broad st at 11:26 Thur the Dr line. Left at 12:14 am. First I ask when was the unsweetened tea made last? The cashier said at 6:30 am. Wow. I said never mind. I repeat my order several times. I order #1 with cheese add mayo. So I said I want mustard and mayo. I also added a just a burger. After the long wait. I finally made it to the window. I again ask him. Y'all tea was really made last at 6:30 this morning. He said yes, I asked for ranch. He said they were out. I said ok. Understandable, he gave me my bag open wide. I did not like that. Bugs can get in my bag. As I drove to the st. I saw my receipts hanging out my Dt window. I stop to get them. I only live 9 minutes away. I got home and my bread on my just a burger was soild hard. I could use it's for a dark board. My fries were also hard. It's felt like I could have broken a tooth. My Whataburger was cold. But still had a very lite qualify taste. What did I spend almost 10 $ on. I'm a diabetic. That why I asked for unsweetened tea. I don't have to many choices. Tea made at 6:30 in the morning. That was 2 shift to many for tea. It's every 8 hours. Can somebody count. I'm very displeased at the food I got today. Whataburger is my favorite. Not this one anymore. This is my second time coming here and both times. Just horrible. I will go out of my way to get the quality I want. Very frustrating after an 8-hour shift. Then to get a meal like that. I work for Whataburger 7 years left in 2011. I know their strength on quality. This is not it.
Good customer service is what this place lacks. I used the drive through to place two orders of 3 chicken strips with fries. The lady took half of my order and then disappeared. I kept saying hello, hello, hello but no one answered. So as a courtesy to the long line of cars behind me, I drove through to the window. As expected they didn't have my order. I gave it to her again but she showed me a terrible attitude and an extreme unprofessional treatment. I asked her for ketchup and BBQ sauce. She charged my card and on the charge was additional charge for BBQ sauce which I never ordered. All I wanted is two orders of 3- chicken strips and fries. The BBQ sauce is free and so is the ketchup. The lady charged me for an extra BBQ sauce that I never ordered and she kept arguing with me that the sauce is not free. She refused to listen to me that I didn't need the extra sauce but of course to no avail. Even though the BBQ sauce is 35 cents, it still pissed me off because their attitude and their poor customer service truly got to me. I filed a complaint with the Whataburger head office to ensure they address their staff at their location on 3797 Southwest Freeway, Houston, TX *******. There is no need for rudeness and poor customer service. If the employee is mad at the employer, they shouldn't take their anger out on the customer. I give them zero star for their unprofessional behavior and bad attitude and for charging the customer's credit card for something we never ordered.
Everyone knows Whataburger has great burger, but did you know their salad is the best salad around? Their grilled chicken apple cranberry salad is better than any other salad around.
I was at whataburger in Tuscaloosa, Al on McFarland Blvd. Just about a hour ago I waited in line 25 minutes there was only 1 car ahead of me my food was cold and my drink was watered down I'll NEVER go back there again
I have been eating at Whataburger almost daily for the past few years, usually lunch or breakfast. Since ownership has changed hands, the quality is absolute garbage. I have wasted more money on COLD, limp, burgers, fries, and biscuits than I care to admit, HOPING it was just the location. NOPE, I just purchased, yet another, jalapeño biscuit breakfast meal that I had to throw away after ONE bite, because the biscuit was so limp,soggy, and gross, I'm sure it has been sitting there since they started serving breakfast last night. The sausage and hashbrowns were cold and grease soaked. Idk what is going on with this company now that it's been turned over to a Chicago owner, but it's clear that money is more important than quality now. I will not be returning to any Whataburger again. I've given it over a year to improve and it's just getting worse. It's literally no better than a McDonald's now and I stopped eating there 3 years ago. I can't tell you how disappointing this is because I used to choose them over In N Out, but I guess I'll have to make them my new burger joint.

A worker slapped someone else's food in someone else's face and he was a straight jerk.The Whataburger we were at was located in Abilene Texas and his name was Christopher or something of the sort.
There should not be cold food in my bag if I have to wait 30 minutes just to order and 25 minutes just to receive my food it's unacceptable and a total disgrace! I had to reorder because the rude lady left Fries off my order DO BETTER AND YALL JUST OPENED DO BETTER DO BETTER WE SPENDINd 30 plus for cold food? UNACCEPTABLE
WILL MAKE YOU LEAVE AFTER HALF AN HOUR. Flavourly, Stuck in the past with their old style burgers. WhataBurger has decent burgers, but if you were expecting to leisurely enjoy them with contemporary technology, you out of luck. No WiFi, no place to connect your devices. If you have their app and try to order in the restuarant with a weak cell connection, you're out of luck. Their burgers remind me of 60's food, and I realize some may enjoy having well lubricated meals.
While I was writing this review the general manager came out and told me I was loitering and had to leave.
I submitted complaints to BBB and to the corporate office, no response.
What more to say. This location sucks. Ask for light mustard, crispy Bacon. Had extra mustard and under cooked bacon. And burnt bun.
Huge chunks of lettuce and onions. Both need to be thinly sliced! Too much mustard and no ketchup! Sliced tomatoes, pickles and toasted bun was fine!
I don't even know why this company came to Alabama. The food is horrible. Everytime I eat it, I get sick. I would not give this food to anyone.
Much better than the cheap McDonalds and Wendy's and other. They are a little more expensive but you are getting a much better real burger.
