The product is great but when I purchased my second order of Westmore's Magic Effects concealer it did not come with the sponge applicator, which can be used to apply concealer and to keep the product in the base. It even says it with the instructions that came with the product. I have called 5 times only getting an answering service plus I sent an email asking for them to send the sponges( I order 3 colors and none of them had the sponges) I am very upset that they do not respect their customers to return my calls or email or send the sponges to me
They keep on taking money from my account for products I didn't order. They are a fraud. I had to call and visit the bank for the same issue and if I can't stop them I'm forced to close up my account.
Fist call I told her I wanted to cancel I did not the shimmering shine it had so she said she would send me something that would had no shine never got it called back a month later they said there promotion was up well that figures then they tried to get me to spend more money on product's kept telling them no on every thing had to finally hang up so don't do it rip off
I ordered the Golden Radiance and was skeptical. I don't like my legs - they have sun spots and wanted something that would cover and give an even color. I don't go to the pool or wear shorts but I have a sun dress that I have not worn because of my legs. So far I've applied it to my arms, shoulders and back with the help of my daughter. I love it. It gave me a beautiful sun kissed tan look. It feels very light on the skin. After one application I decided the color it gave me looked so nice - it minimized my sunspots - that I did not feel the need to do more applications to totally cover the spots. I am hoping it will work as well on my legs. I exfoliated then applied a thin coat and allowed it to dry completely and had no issues with it getting on my clothes. I told a few of my girlfriends about it and they said they thought I was tan from the sun... I will send an update after using it on my legs to see if I am happy with the result on my legs...
It doesn't stand up to it's claims. It doesn't give the coverage that they state in their infomercials. PThey put me in some monthly program that I didn't ask to be in. They took 160 bucks and 2 boxes of the junk. Now the won't return my money because it's over 60 days. Scam. Don't fall for it.
They sent me the wrong shade of product. I mailed back the wrong large tube. Then they sent me a trial size product had billed me $130 for it. Now they turn me into a collection company. I am going to Dill to all all of you
I bought the dark formula in large tube. They sent me the light formula. Does not work. They mailed me a tiny tube of dark formula. I returned large tube and they say they never received it. Stop billing me for $130.00.
The color shades were not to my liking and I called to return after going on Covid iso and they said I called a day too late. I told them I'd been laid off and didn't have the money, they said too bad pay it... this was 6 or so months ago and they sent it to collections. I borrowed some money from my sister to pay it. I'm still not working & I just think that is so cruel! I've included a redacted past due invoice to prove I was a customer. WAS
This was the last payment and I haven't used any of the product due to my initial reason. I just think they are hard core and would never do business with them again. I'm not going to share any pics because I took some and the coloring just looks so odd. Buyer Beware!
Unethical and poorly run company. Products are subpar and it is IMPOSSIBLE to get help from customer service. Forget any "guarantees" or return options; they do not exist.
Buyer beware... they won't let me cancel! I no longer want the membership and when I called to cancel they said they couldn't cancel me until my next box arrived. Why? Then they charged my credit card AGAIN for another box of items I don't want. They hit my credit card twice in two days! Terrible!
Wow I can't complain about shipping because of covid19. But I was so excited when it finally got here. Got in the shower exfoliated dried off and tried it. I felt dried out and it looked fake. It didn't cover any marks or imperfections. I have very light bruises on my leg and some veins. They showed up even more. I have to put about 6 layers to cover up. And it makes it look even more fake. The colors are weird and not natural. I tried the bronze because Iam a very light skinned black woman. No one is that color bronze. Then I tried the tinted eye cream it gets worse. It made my eye area look dry and unnatural. Iam scared to try the brow gel. They also put me on auto ship before the first product came. I will call today to stop shipment. This is one of the many tv scams that should be called out.
I've ordered the body coverage from Amazon, which is always a good experience because Amazon teaches their employees to be respectable and accommodating in every way possible... Westmore not so much. I ordered not knowing I signed up for "auto delivery", luckily for me I became privy to this sorcery very quickly and canceled that crap. Take my word for it, if you like the products from Westmore, order from AMAZON OR QVC. Do not order from the website directly. It is indeed a SCAM.
I purchased the Body Coverage Pefection online after seeing an infomercial. I haven't even used the product yet and they're billing me for an auto shipment, when I specifically remember that I made sure there would be no auto shipments in the future. I called customer service and wouldn't you know, they were unable to cancel this shipment because "it had already been shipped," even though there isn't a tracking number. I am livid! I canceled my "subscription" and will never order from an infomercial again.
I purchased this Body Coverage to cover up spider veins on my legs, after applying 4 coats it didn't cover and has to dry for 10 minutes in between each coat. I don't have an hour or more to apply this! I sent it back and then tried to call to cancel future shipments because I thought it was $39.99 not $39.99 every 4 weeks with a new one arriving every 4 months. I waited 30 minutes on hold to get through then had to be firm with the young lady ( I'm sure just doing her job) that I wanted to cancel and DID NOT WANT TO BE CHARGED AGAIN. I was told I would receive a refund when they receive my return, which is fair I just hope it's true.
This product is awful! I can't use it. On top of that they keep charging me every month for crap I don't use. Can we file a lawsuit ladies? I'm seeing a lot of the same complaints.
The eyebrow gel is good. The under eye concealer swells the dark circles! The body coverup DOES NOT WORK ON SUNSPOTS! I have sunspots/liver spots on my legs and arms chest. The product does not cover them nor blend. Falsely advertised.
I called before the 30 days and was informed by Mike (at Westmore) that the product had already been sent out. I told Mike that I wanted to cancel I did not like or want the product and he said he cancelled and gave me a confirmation #. I hope Mike did cancel because after reading reviews you certainly have problems. I had a difficult time hearing Mike (Westmore) and did ask him to talk louder (and I do have exceptional hearing per my ENT) He made no attempt to speak louder. He NOT ONCE mentioned the 60 day money back guarantee and tried to get me to try a moisture spray for exfoliation. I told him no I was not interest... just wanted to stop the product shipping and not charge my account. I called my credit card company upon hanging up the phone with Mike(Westmore) and guess what THE NEW CHARGES ARE ALREADY POSTED AND FOR EVEN MORE! For Pete sake treat your customer better.
I was excited to be able to cover my body's dark spots and red spots but that never happened with this. It looks cakey, comes right off, and worst of all doesn't even cover. Waste of money.
You could still see my markes on me, didn't cover them up. Then it took well over 2 months to get my money back, then not all of it was refunded. Not satisfied!
Do not order from this company! They overcharged me and told me they didn't and I can't cancel my order. I am out $89.49... so far. Try to report to BBB but their website is a joke.
