Fees fees and more fees

I had a checking account with wells Fargo for a few years and then I joined the Army, I was stationed in Germany so I switched to a military only credit union so I wouldn't have to deal with foreign atm fees and other charges from over seas spending. I had a few hundred dollars left in my wells Fargo account and decided not to close it. After a couple years in Germany I get a letter from wells Fargo saying my account was negative, since I didn't have the minimum amount in my account they nickeled and dimed my account until all the money was gone and then they proceeded to slap on over draft fees on top of that. I was never warned about a minimum balance charge and on top of that I had enough in my savings to easily cover the minimum balance requirement. Instead of moving 12$ from my savings to my checking to satisfy their minimum account balance they proceeded to nickel and dime away $488 and then try to slap on $60 in over draft fees. I'm only giving them 2 stars because once I explained my situation, they dropped the fees and cut me a check for the money they took. Either way I'm sticking to my credit union since they don't have random fees and they reimburse all atm fees.

I'm not a fan of their customer service, they will keep you on hold and hang up. Also their atm communication is not at its best. :/

EVERYTHING ABOUT THE BANK SUCKS THEY ARE A BUNCH OF LYING CHEATS AND THEY SHOULD NOT BE TRUSTED. I can not even get my kids suckers because the employees ate them all!

It's a never ending joke with this bank. Issues with cards freezing, limits for no reason, terrible customer service then to top it off you literally erased millions upon millions of peoples money in a few hours with zero time line on fixing the issue. This wasn't just checks being deposited that disappeared, savings accounts dissappeard, money that was in prior dissapear and then went negative in all accounts. People can not survive without having means they earned to do so. You can not even go to a branch and discuss it or take out pending money due to your faulty system. We will be changing banks as soon as this hell fest settles. Your stocks dropped astronomically 3 days ago, after this I feel like wells farge with be on the penny stock circuit.

Also, you need to train employees to not post on Facebook and Twitter threating customers for being upset about this. They obviously aren't affected because your employees don't even bank with you. I feel like at this point you should sell that 225 billion dollar building you just bought and start depositing it into people's accounts as a curiosity for this giant hell hole you made.

The Black mngr there was self-hating apparently, but very anti-Black after he had instructed me to travel to his bank there in Lake Oswego on May 9 to cash/refund a Western Union m. O. drawn on Wells Fargo Bank. I guess he thought I was white during our phone conversation, but when I showed up, he made me wait for a long while as he paced around like a chicken with no head, grabbing and hugging white female customers as they entered the branch; they were uncomfortable and in shock by his random behavior. I realized maybe he is going to refuse me service promised over the phone and he did just that while treating indifferently as I tried to speak with him to get the m. O. cashed. He backtracked on his original promise and nastiky gestured at me physically and verbally. He refused to allow me to file a formal complaint also by discouraging me, telling me I'd have to wait a long while as they needed to help the other customers who were white and few. Finally I just left with my fiance who has had a Wells Fargo account for more than 25 years. Damien or Darren, one of the two names, behaved like a house negro treating me as a slave or unequal citizen without regard or my rights. He had to prove loudly and unprofessional overtly that although he's Black, me as a Black woman was garbage on his list. His co-workers looked on, one in disbelief, a female white, but all others never spoke up as "it was normal". It was not. I felt humiliated, insignificant, embarrassed, discriminated against, and by someone who was of my same race. He should be fired. You may contact me for follow-up. Wish I could give a no-star rating.

Worst Bank Ever

This company is so $#*!ed up I can't understand how there still in business
Wells Fargo will go behind your back put stop payment when all you did is dispute a double booking payment
Something that Wells Fargo fails to disclose is that if you dispute a payment that is when you authorize they will freeze your account until there ready to release your funds
As a result of there blunder and total incompetenancy in the people they hire as if you IQ is above 50 they won't hire people with common sense you have to be and idiot in order to work there I've file a discremination lawsuit on behalf myself and John and Jane Doe who have been involved with disputes that Wells Fargo refuses to correct
Never ever bank with Wells Fareo if you do you've been warned just look at the recviews on any website their at about 1.5 stars out of 5 I give them -10.

Wells Fargo stealing

Don't bank with them, they will steal $10 monthly service fees even if your balance is more than $500

Wells Fargo steals your money at the ATMs
January 23, 2023

Throughout the years, I have had several complaints in regards to customer service and the response that customers receive at Wells Fargo. My newest complaint is that Wells Fargo steals customers' money at the ATM, and they do not follow protocol in promising to credit a customers' account immediately.

On Friday, Dec. 16, I deposited $800 in an ATM. With this machine, I didn't have to enter an amount. It simply counted the cash. It counted $600, and it said it could not receive all the items. Unfortunately, it only returned $100. I am missing $100. At this ATM, there is also video footage. I called Wells Fargo immediately while I was still at the ATM.

I also called Wells Fargo on Saturday. I spoke with Chris and Marissa, Wells Fargo's escalation specialists. I'm not satisfied with the outcome. Chris tried to insist I could enter the amount on the screen, but that was not the case. Customers place the cash in the machine, and it counts the cash.

When I contacted Wells Fargo, my account was supposed to be credited $100. It never was.

Afterwards, I emailed the Wells Fargo's Board on December 17 and December 26,2022. I received an email on Dec. 26 that my claim was completed, but there was still no credit applied to my account. I called Wells Fargo again, but that office was closed.

A Wells Fargo representative told me I should go inside the bank. This is not acceptable. I have orthopedic issues and entering the bank in person is not always an option. COVID 19 is also resurfacing. For a Wells Fargo representative to suggest I go into a bank, especially due to my orthopedic challenges and during a triple pandemic is discriminatory. I do have a handicap placard for my vehicle.

Additionally, I have reported issues with the ATM before with Wells Fargo. The machines are always out of service or not accepting deposits etc. These messages and conversations are recorded by Wells Fargo.

I have filed other claims before and Wells Fargo always found out my claims and reports were true. It's no different this time. Your immediate attention and response will be greatly appreciated.

The worst bank

After opening an account they will hold your deposit just to tell you the check isn't cleared but they have taken the money and closed account.
