Webnode has been my primary site builder since 2019. There's a wide variety of free templates for you to choose from, and the design options are great. However you'll have some issues getting your site on Google with the free plan, as meta tags don't usually work. The customer service also has a few issues, including the response rate. They usually get back to you in a day or two, though.
It is quite shocking. My data has been published through a site created by a third party loser and when I contacted yes them clarifying that such sensitive data in a malicious way published by someone need to be removed, shockingly they have so far refused. I'm now obliged to place a complaint ( at the Police station) quite shocking..
Really poor customer service. There is no live support available and worse yet, they don't timely respond to email. Microsoft and I have invested at least 10 hours trying to resolve email issues. Webnode has been unavailable throughout the entire process. Microsoft support is asking me questions that I have been sending to webnode, but they haven't responded. I get auto reply emails from Mike Svacha all the time. I have also tried emailing *******@webnode.com. I have asked my credit card company to get involved since webnode will not engage in helping to resolve. I would strongly caution using them going forward.
Most functions are easy to figure out. The interface is relatively user-friendly. But the Eshop settings are less clear. You have categories, collections and web pages all within the Eshop. Help does not explain how to link these. For instance, how do you show only a particular category of products on a specific page within the Eshop? Not clear. They claim they will respond within 24 hrs - particularly for premium customers. I am on day 4 with no response to a request marked urgent. Clearly they don't care that much about their customers. That alone subtracts 2 stars.
They suspended my website without notice. None what so ever. They have images that you can't sort through or search through and overall it would be better just to have your own or take one from google and make sure you copy right it. There is no live support, there is only e-mail that they'll take forever to get back to you on it. The only way for you to know that the website got suspended is trying to look at the website itself because they'll remove it completely from your created webpage library. So if you run multiple webpages, then good luck with that. There are also limited features even with premium. I might go back to wix because this kind of a joke.
I had a Webnode blog I was using for a couple of years from time to time. I didn't use it for a year and then when I went to go back to it - it was gone! I sent them a message saying - "this is all the info re my blog with you, where is it? Your online message says that what was the address for my blog is available to be registered". They replied that they had no record of such a blog. So... why do have the address linked to my facebook since 2015... and why do I have a back up of the Website with my blog at that address on Webnode...? They are crap. Why would they turn a blog off? Running out of memory?
I have tried to edit my profile information for nearly three days now. I followed the instructions after signing in. It never generated the promised email. I have two open tickets. The issue is still not resolved:

It is very easy to create a website on Webnode - they have some good templates, however the better ones are paid. I built my website and wanted to export it - turns out I had to pay CHF 190 for the migration to the new domain hahahah So I opted to delete the website. When I searched how to do it, I found out that I had 3 orders from clients without even opening an online shop?! They had names, amounts, paid status etc...
Besides this, there is also no way to delete your profile! I wouldn't recommend - better to pay and get your website done by a pro.
I had just received a phishing call from a supposed BT representative suggesting to me that my IP address is being used unware to me.
Even when I suggested I was with SKY package... they insisted that BT is the underlying provider which is agreed.
But they were conniving in trying to get me to open my search box on my computer, and type this "netstart" which brought up a box that seemed believable until they asked me to go up and down on this new box when nothing happened.
It is where I realised how things were shaky with this caller - Be careful people! These crooks are getting better and try to update everyone wherever possible.
Great site offering free sitebuilding packages to suit everyone. You can get permanent FREE site created by yourself which is personal site. Or you can get paid packages to own which can be business or personal. You have to try it and its one of the best of the net in the free website building business. Highly recommended.
Refused me access to my domain which I purchased and have continually refused to give me my EPP code to transfer from the company. Stay far away as there's plenty of services trustful and not looking to imprison their userbase by forcing domain handling and site restrictions.
When some thing wrongs comes in mind of them they start blaming, from last 07 yrs my site working with them, every year they blamed me i am doing spamming & link farming like things, I m govt registered & it is safe & secure any one check my site any time www.1shopandship.com & i am doing affiliate work from this site, but they suspended my site unneccessary & after lots of requests they reactivate my site & told me stop affiliate work from this site, Its humble request to stay away from them, they are really are rippers & cheaters.
I have had a website with these guys for two years. They can never give me answers to anything. Other web buildr sites ae much easier to use; stay away from this one.

This user did not provide us with either the correct email address or URL to his website so we were unable to locate the correct account. Once this user finally provided us the correct information in the form of his email address and website, we were able to take care of his requests quickly and with no further issues. We even found an issue in his domain that is held with a different registrar and offered him the instructions on how to fix it.

I paid for a site that I can't get on to and when I send them an email they do not respond to my new email even after I updated it. I can't delete the site because I paid. Really fed up.
it just needs something on how to DELETE an account and not how to DELETE a project, because if it has a thing where you can DELETE an account, it would make people feel encouraged to make a website and then they can DELETE that and their account afterwords.
I had a look at webnode and registered my details opened up the website builder and decided it was not for me and tried to cancel my reistration they sent me this email Iam not happy about it

Easy for beginers. So simply to create even layman can create website in the webnode. Add more templets, color, backgroud designs etc
