This company is great. If I ever have a problem I can get with customer service and they fix it the same day. I got the phone cup and did not get the tool with it and within five minutes they fixed the problem and had it out and in the mail same day great people.
Even though the right car was selected, the liners sent did not fit my car. I bought the liners in US, and took them overseas. Weathertech made it impossible to replace the liners for the right ones. Customer service said they were going to send specs of the "right" liners they were supposed to send. Till now, I haven't received any info. I offered to buy the one liner that needed replacement for the right size, and they said they only ship pairs! Even to fix their mistake the customer has to pay extra. I'm afraid to buy products from them again, since they don't stand behind the quality of their products. Horrific customer service.
Ordered custom sun shade for windshield of Jeep Grand Cherokee. So rigid that it takes two people to unroll it - so stiff it doesn't fit behind rear view mirror and nearly damages mirror. It also takes two people to reroll it tightly so closure works. This $60 shade was a ripoff!
First off I do like my weather tech floor mats. I have a 05 Tahoe and have had then in my car for over ten years. The fit is spot on and works great…. But over time the mounting screw plate that you screwed into your carpet and the mat attaches to has oblong the hole in the mat and will not hold into the carpet. I wish weathertech would of had cleats in the mat as all the rest do. I believe it would of assisted it in staying in place. I would be hesitant in purchasing them again unless this is addressed.
To keep the front floor mats in place, weathertech provides hooks that should fasten to the floor. The hooks have a bottom pin that goes into a slot that when you turn it a quarter of a turn it should lock in place. But this bottom pin is 1/8 inch too short so it doesn't go far enough down to catch. The ones that came with the car work fine. But with that little 1/8 inch difference you can't push it down enough to make it catch. So my driver side mat will slide. Not good. Dangerous even. They laser measure the mats but don't bother to measure the hook connectors. The front passenger mat and rear seat mats fit tightly. But the driver side mat is 1 inch short in length. It will slide. I guess I can try velcro or or put a small screw with washers thru the mat into the slot. Won't that look nice. For the price I paid, I thought they would fit. Nope.
I JUST PURCHASED A BOUT 5 ITEMS FROM WEATHER TECH OVE $500 AND ONE OF THE LITTLE ITEMS WAS A PAIR OF CUP COASTERS WHICH SAYS 2 LARGE AND 2 SMALL FOR THE BACK SEAT. WELL THE LARGE DON'T WORK AND THE SMALL SO YOU ARE PAYING $15 FOR TWO RUBBER COASTERS WHICH I NEVER WOULD OF DONE. SO I CALLED THERE AND THE GUY SAID WELL YOU KNOW WE CAN'T BREAK THEM UP THEY ARE A SET AND EVEN IF YOU SPENT 11K WE CAN'T DO ANYTHING AT ALL SO BASICALLY JUST EAT THE 15.00 FOR THEM AND SHUT UP. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER WEATHER TECH ITEM EVER THEY COULDN'T BE MORE WORTHLESS.
I got the mats to protect my car, but I tried to clean and they DON'T clean well. I called and now they tell me I should buy their cleaner and protectant! NEVER buy anything else from this company!
I purchased a full custom fit sunshade for my Equinox. The front windshield does not fit. And they don't care!
I bought a set through PartSource. They had alot of trouble just putting in the order. When they arrived one of the round snap connectors was missing. PartSource has been trying to get Weathertech to send the missing part but theyre have alot of trouble just getting through to them. Its been several weeks since they arrived and still no part. I even tried to contact them with no luck. I myself and the fellow at PartSource are thoroughly discusted with Weathertecht because so far there has been absolutely no customer service.
Horrible company,
Nasty customer rep name Timmy Vangouh, should be terminated
Nasty, horrible customer service
Purchased I a set of floormats, it has been 15 days I still have not received them. These floormats are extremely overpriced, you would think that they would pay for better shipping.
I recently made 3 purchases from weather tech of over $400. A few weeks later I tried to pull my seat forward and was unable to do so. I contacted customer service through the website and the response I got was pretty shocking. The email said try putting heavy items on the floor match and leaving them in the Sun. Make sure the original car floor mats are not under the weather check ones. If there's anything I could do for you in the future please feel free to contact me. It was like case closed. I waited about a week and contacted them by telephone. The lady shame really nice and helpful. She asked for some photos. I sent the photos, as requested. The lady called me back and asked me to send more photos. They suggested I cut the top of the floor liner in order to give it clearance from the seat. I didn't love that idea and I sent an email back asking for advisement. That was over a week ago and I've never heard back.
I looked on the website under warranty information and it was fairly shocking. Without quoting it directly it basically said they wanted their products but they will not cover people who are asking for frivolous claims. This was right in their warranty information. Judging from what my experience was they seem to think that all claims are frivolous. God forbid there should be something wrong with their product. I don't mind paying for things but when I pay a premium price I expect a premium product with fairly friendly customer service. From my experience their service is not very good. In all fairness the mats are really nice and they for the most part fit pretty good.
Sent mats for the wrong vehicle even though the receipt reflected the correct vehicle. After mailing them back to the company they again sent the wrong mats AND color. Worked with customer service for a collective 40 minutes and they were rude and unhelpful. Never had problems with weathertech before and will say that I never will again…. Because I'm done with them.
I purchased the mats directly from weathertech. The gentleman I spoke with assured me that they would fit perfectly in my 2021 GMC SIERRA crewcab. It fits good everywhere except by the door where the most traffic is. I regret spending that much money on something that isn't what I was told. We live and learn.
I gone through checking reviews online on many sites. I guess it was paid reviews generated by Weather Tech. I got my floor mates in 2016. Just one winter finished and all the floor mates are worst in color. When I am getting in since then, every time it gives feel that you entered in 18th Century car only because that floor mates are looking so bad. After one winter in Canada, I feel that I was stupid for the words of Weather Tech. I would suggest to never get it. I tried many products to clean it and make it black again, but since 2016-17 today it's 2021. No chance. It is worst worst worst ever product. I wish I would be able to give it negative ranking. I do not ants to post photos here, because it make me sick to show that my car is looking ugly, the brand new car I got in 2016. Sad.
I have a 2020 Equinox and these liners dont fit right. They're a little too high so when you climb in you catch your foot on it. They slide a bit too because they aren't a "laser fit".
Last week, I ordered car floor liners including pet barrier as the video says, "it can fits any vehicle". But it's too long on my Tesla Model Y! So yesterday, I called Burlington store with this regards, the lady told me that I should read on details of measurement... and the return policy is terrible(we either to pay return shipping fee or drop it off). Today, I just watched their online video again and it is clear says, " the item can fit any vehicle". The lady on phone was blamed me no reading their details! I spent approx $1K included front liners from them and experienced horrible service!
2nd set of floor mats. 1st was as advertised. 2nd set, the rear mats sides just folded down flat. Customer service advised me to take out the mat, flatten it and re-install it. REALLY! Warranty didn't apply. So much for the "lifetime" warranty. And mine are only 5 months old. Junk. Buy any brand than this.
So I order trunk liner for husband as anniversary present, and pay $45 for 3 day express delivery. Package arrives with wrong liner(they made mistake)return and now they have sent it but not express like I payed for, and no refund for my express payment. I ordered on April 25 and it's May 7 still no trunk liner.
I purchased Weathertech window guards for my 2020 f150. It's a terrible design. They were easy to install but they are too long and gouged the rubber trim where it meets the metal piece they give you to set it on which also looks terrible. Now there is a cut in the rubber trim. I modified them so they will fit but not sure if they will stay in place. I should have gone with the other company that makes these. Not happy at all Weathertech. I was a fan but not anymore.
Answer: Haha! Placed on hold with 165 callers ahead of me. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told I could try to call back tomorrow but they're really busy this time of year!
Answer: I have boughten a few things for Weathertech and I had a problem with a part that got broken. I called customer service and got right through and they solved my problem in just a few minutes. They were very nice and easy to deal with.
Answer: Any company is better. Mine are absolute junk. They are so cheap I'd be better off buying Walmart brand floor mats.
