I have given up on the stupid weather channel with all their INSANE ENDLESS ADs that do NOTHING but FREEZE up my computer screen, and I can't even GET to the weather for the day, because the pop ups keep knocking it out of view! I even tried to click on their SURVEY link, and everytime I did a pop up ad interfered and suddenly I was on a shopping site for that ad... I GIVE UP... I am now using DARK SKY ONLY to get my weather. Hope WEATHER CHANNEL CRASHES! It would serve them right for being SO GREEDY to have to put every ad avail. On their site... ALL of which have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH THE WEATHER! Talk about IDIOTS RUNNING A SITE!

Deleting your app due to the Biden T-shirts advertisement. I hear Accuweather is more reliable anyway.

The Weather Channel used to have a Weather Scan feature (separate channel) that gave viewers a real-time, 24/7 radar map and forecast for their area. For some strange reason, this feature was discontinued. Now The WeatherChannel has "Local on the 8s" (not always consistent) for local weather information. And if you just want a quick update as to your weather, you have to wait 10 minutes for the next "Local on the 8s" to come up. Heaven forbid if there is a program on the weather channel and the color on the bottom of the screen completely wipes out the white weather crawlers, or the crawlers are pre-empted by the program itsel; f.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring back the Weather Scan feature. It was very helpful, whereas the Weather Channel itself is limited in information for local radar and forecasts. Most of the time (except for major storms), I don't want to read what's going on in Vermont, or Arizona or Iowa. I just want info for my local area, like the Weather Scan provided 24/7.

I don't understand what it is you people are doing because it sure af has nothing to do with weather. You guys have just cost me tons of money all because I trusted your useless weather forecast! Its never correct! NEVER! You people should be paying for the damages from the rain that wasn't supposedto happen. Thanks for nothing.

From someone who works outdoors everyday, I've learned that The Weather Channel is far more often wrong than right.
How in Gods name can they even think about a 10 day or long range forecast when they can't accurately predict from one day to the next.
Why would you mess with someone's safety and livelihood if you weren't fairly sure?

The weather channel has done good enough by me so far. It is always convenient to just look and see what the weather will be like for the week or even for the month. Hassle-free!"

For the last 3 Days we had a winter storm warning on June5,6, or 7 in Jasper, Alberta...
That is still Canada!
Except they forget to show anything as to were this Storm is supposed to be happening?.

I have written about the Weather channel and weather underground before, they are essentially one in the same and both really make me vomit.
I just heard a commercial which said "trust in the weather station" NOT!
These people thrive on other peoples hard-ache, the cover the weather and are thrilled to be on site of a disaster, but HAVE YOU EVER SEEN ANYONE OF THEM LEND A HAND? NO that doesn't make news. I actually heard and watched the blond who broadcasts with all the guys, make jokes about a tractor trailer that slide on the ice and went hurdling over the guardrail after smashing into another vehicle. Do you think she thought about who got injured, killed. This did not even enter her little tiny brain because it was an opportunity to display drastic dangerous weather conditions which, well make them rich... Stay away from the weather channel, don't trust the weather channel, pray for the weather channel hosts, they really need it.

This site has up to the minute weather reports along with 5 day forecasts. If you are planning a trip out of state, it is a good site for your travel plans. It also has storm stories and scientific weather tidbits. Used it to see what the weather would be like on my vacation. It said severe thunderstorms and lots of rain. I was expecting that for a few days. It does not have a 3 week planner that would have told me this weather would last through my full vacation. But it is very informative and accurate for weather reporting up to 5 days.
