I am here to tell you that it will be a struggle to get service at least 4-6 weeks out of every year. They pick up all my neighbors trash but they leave mine periodically. What's most crazy about this is the driver has to stop at a stop sign and stare at my trash as he decides to turn left or right first. For some reason they instantly become blind when they make it to my road. Anyways, I typically take my trash out on sundays so I don't forget to take it out. Their representatives sound nice and wish it didn't happen but they've never come to pick it up after being missed, they say they will that day or the next day but it NEVER happens! I'm ready to pay a local guy that picks up trash down my road already. I'm sure hes more reliable than waste management. Also the price has almost doubled since when I signed up just over a year ago.
After terrible service of constantly missing recycling and trash pickup but being charged full price, I have called WM 6 times in a week. On hold over a hour today and still can't get anyone to answer. Attempted 3 different phone numbers today. After on hold 33 minutes, rep answered and said would transfer me to cancellation department. Call disconnected after about 5 more minutes on hold. How many calls do I have to make to cancel?
It's been 8 long months since your company damaged the brick wall on 3010 E Bijou St. Why not fix it right away, so our residential area can look as it did before you destroyed it? Do your employees use drugs & alcohol on the clock? Or are they complete morons? You guys can suck it hard & long.
For years now I have been sitting all day waiting on the street corner waiting on the garbage and recycle, and mail trucks. My autistic grandchild loves them all. He calls all drivers, his friend. There have been many drivers, all very kind, generous and sweet to honk and wave and give him a hat. Today's friend was Vincent, and we really appreciate you and all the others.
I live in a very large apartment complex and across the parking lot from the dumpsters. I notice every time they empty our dumpsters, they pick up the garbage thoughtless residents leave on the ground. It's always nice to see so much consideration for cleanliness! Thanks Waste Management for the top rate service!
When it comes to top notch professionalism, Tangie meets the qualifications. She's always respectful to my family and very reliable when it comes to my garbage service. This hardworking young lady is always putting a smile on my face by engaging in small talk with my children as she passes by and always being concern and letting us know what she will strive to do if we ever have questions or concerns. I have no issues with her when it comes to trash removal.
WM disposal residential services. Just want everyone to beware. If you pay ahead and want to cancel they will not return your money. You can cancel anytime you want, however if you have paid ahead you will not get that money back. No refund for paid ahead time. Do month to month payment as you can cancel anytime.
One of the drivers took (and I mean took) our trash can lid. In order for the crows to not grab the garbage, we needed to uncover it at 7:15am. The only way we could get around this was to get one of their trash cans (that has a built-in lid). We had to pay an additional amount to do this.

Pick up day was June 15th 2023. Didn't happen. Contacted WM. June 16th. Said they would pick up by end of day. It's now June 19th. Still no pick up. 2nd time this has happened.
We've had Waste management for a few years. They swore at my wife right after she was in an accident for blocking there way. They don't communicate. Prices are higher than anyone else, and they miss their service times and lie about pick up. They're going to eventually cause the next plague.
I disagree completely with Waste Management's pricing, business practices, as well as how they agree to part ways with their customers. If my bin was slightly overfull, they snap a picture and then add a surcharge of about 30% of their fees. Their fuel charges are also not disclosed and extremely high, then when you try and cancel that is when the going gets rough, really rough!
I wish I could give them zero stars.
When signing on, it was 35 (give or take, no price is ever set in stone with them) for both recycling and trash pickup for a 96 gallon bin. Sounds great right? Absolutely not. In the first three months they picked up our trash 3 times. Out of 12 weeks worth of PAID trash pickup it happened three times. After getting the run around, they say they need a lease to drive down our driveway, which is not private. They take forever for that. Even after that they took weeks and claimed they never got it, so i sign one electronically. With this they tacked on unbeknownst to me and never a price agreed upon, a carry out service which upped the bill to 120. Never got refunded for the months I didn't have service.
Basically, go with anyone else, this company is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Their rating says it all, hopefully you were smarter and checked these reviews first.
This company has the worst customer service I've ever dealt with speaking from a small business myself. I have been trying to get out of contract with them since well before our contract was up nobody would help me and nobody would give me information about how to do it. I heard from many other residential customers and businesses that it was a nightmare to deal with them. We are now stuck in a contract with them for another year Paying way more than everybody else and just having them is a nightmare to work with.
Would prefer a zero review. Harrisburg Pa. Crew Tossed and broke the handle off our new blue recycling bin. Witnessed. Cracked it and tore big hole in bin. Hard to get customer service to talk for one thing, let alone they could care at all. They know the township is in a contract, they could give a rats butt!
I have used waste management in three different states and never had an issue until dealing with California. What a mess. I have a card saved for auto pay but for some reason they never took the money. I assumed that they were taking their fees every month. I called to close my account and request a final pickup which they scheduled and never mentioned any unpaid amount. Two months later I received a bill for over $800 in unpaid fees. Amanda via chat was 100% useless and said that fees could not be waived even though I had never been contacted about this issue and SPOKE TO A REPRESENTATIVE WHO NEVER MENTIONED IT. I have previously always had other options for garbage and recycling services and chosen WM because they were easy to deal with. After this I will not be using WM again.
Waste Management of Orange Park sucks the reason why I say so is because they totally refute the recycling process. If you happen to fill your recycling receptacle they advise you to just mix it with garbage which totally voids the reason why we're recycling anyway a lot of times the workers leave bottles in the street and this is totally unacceptable when you're paying taxes to keep these people employed. Why do we even have a recycling division in Orange Park if they can't fulfill their job duties to the fullest extent?
Waste management in New Port Richey and their pick up crews are absolutely the worst. They miss pick ups even though they pick up everyone else on my block this is the third time in less than a month. Even when you call nothing changes and they won't even come out til your next pick up. My best advice to anyone is get another trash company i know i am. Enough is enough I've had it with them they are absolutely the worst trash service I've had in 30 years
Company doesn't live up to its own rules but wants you too. I started new service I had to constantly call them to deliver my can which they lied and said they would that Friday I didn't get that can till next week and then charged me double
Answer: Apparently it is how they conduct business by being as rude and unethical as possible. I hope they did not steal from you as well.
