Waste Management bought our disposal company, and they changed our account without communicating this. They are trying to bill us for late fees. And they raised the rate significantly without notice. It's nearly impossible to contact them by email or phone. Their support is awful.
Do yourself a favor and avoid working with them.
Company charges you just to come pick up their containers if you cancel. $133, more than the cost for three months service. Avoid at all costs.
It's been 8 long months since your company damaged the brick wall on 3010 E Bijou St. Why not fix it right away, so our residential area can look as it did before you destroyed it? Do your employees use drugs & alcohol on the clock? Or are they complete morons? You guys can suck it hard & long.
Do not use this company if you have a choice. Canceled my service 3 weeks before the next bill was due. They came next day to pick up the can. After 3 months they are now calling trying to collect money when they actually owe me money. Will start you at a good price but will raise the rate every month until you are paying double what you started with. Mine went from $26 to $42 in a year. The people who collect the trash are good and nice people but the corporation leaves a lot to be desired.
If you have the option, get another trash company. I NEVER see my trash guys get out of the truck, they are constantly leaving garbage behind. My tote has been broken since last summer, their drivers did it, and I have yet to see a new one. I and my husband have called countless times to get a new tote and we are told someone will be by, well no one ever comes by. Lazy workers.
I have 2yd container started service jun 2019. Called to cancel and they automatically renewed my contract, I was supposed to send a certified letter saying I am not going to renew, so I'm stuck with there high price for 1 more year I will remember this time to send in the certified letter 6 months before! Just giving you a heads up before you get waste management checks other options!
We've had issues with missed service almost monthly. No notice that pick up is being rescheduled until after they have closed for the day. This results in wildlife and strays tipping cans and strewing garbage everywhere. No recycling option available, no garbage cans provided. No discount on the bill unless when they miss picking up. They require you to pay for a service you may or may not receive. Customer service says they will address issues, but nothing changes. If you have a choice, pick another service provider.
Absolutely the most worthless trash company out there If you have a dumpster and someone throws a bag on top of it before they pick it up they charge you $175 avoid this place at all cost
This is the worst company. Bill always paid on time. Always ever increasing. No one answers phone. No one responds to LIVE chat. I finally got through (after hold 45 mins) last week after dumpster was not picked up. The guy guaranteed it would be picked up this week! And that we could set trash even next to dumpster. NO PICK UP! We have had services with CGS and Waste Management for Over 15 YEARS. It is not a new address! They just skip and YOU Cannot get through to a live person! THis is the worst company! I even saw the trucks go up and down our street many times!
I've been a business customer for 5 years. I pay approx $430 a month. Pick-ups are always reliable, so no problem there. WHEN OR IF YOU CANCEL is when the trouble begins! I called to cancel, was told I needed to send a certified letter during a certain time period of one month. Lots of hoops to go through. Decided to keep the service. After five years with them, I called to cancel, as their prices are so high compared to GSL who has no contracts to sign. The agent took my info and said "you're all set!". She told me I'd be paying one more payment as I have to give a 30 day notice. So I waited and almost 2 months later they still haven't picked up dumpsters and are charging me for yet another month. Called them and they said I needed to sign a BCA Compliance form, which they emailed. The agent never told me that when I cancelled! So another month they get out of me. Now I have to start over with a new agent. I bet I'll somehow be charged another month yet. AVOID them! There's a new kid in town, GSL - going to try them.
Received my first bill here in AZ and it was $242. Yes can you believe that? They charged me a $85 service which is fine but than they charge $88 fuel charge. SO basically they charge a fee and you pay another fee on that fee, Talk about double taxation. I cancelled and will not pay any of their excessive fees. They can bill all they want they will not get any of my money, Moved on.
Drivers disregard the rule of law.
Drivers annoy and terrorize all hours of the night by emptying two ton dumpsters approx. Thirty feet from residential homes.
Management has absolutely no control over drivers.
Never do business with them. They do not honor a contract. Keep billing long after we sold the company. Very corrupt!
I am here to tell you that it will be a struggle to get service at least 4-6 weeks out of every year. They pick up all my neighbors trash but they leave mine periodically. What's most crazy about this is the driver has to stop at a stop sign and stare at my trash as he decides to turn left or right first. For some reason they instantly become blind when they make it to my road. Anyways, I typically take my trash out on sundays so I don't forget to take it out. Their representatives sound nice and wish it didn't happen but they've never come to pick it up after being missed, they say they will that day or the next day but it NEVER happens! I'm ready to pay a local guy that picks up trash down my road already. I'm sure hes more reliable than waste management. Also the price has almost doubled since when I signed up just over a year ago.
Outstanding service from the 2 ladies who processed me through today 5/21/22. They were struggling with technical issues and were back up. They were polite, professional and efficient despite there challenges. They are truly and asset to the company and show outstanding customer service.
I have been complaining for more than a year about missed pickups even going as far as complaining with the Attorney General's office and nothing. The workers are lazy, poorly trained baboons. CSR is a joke. If they were not a monopoly in the area they would be out of business.
Terrible service, bad communication.If you are in some past due even for small amount, for month or two, they will stop your service on 90 degree outside, without any notification or warrning. They deserve 0, not 1 star.
I live in a very large apartment complex and across the parking lot from the dumpsters. I notice every time they empty our dumpsters, they pick up the garbage thoughtless residents leave on the ground. It's always nice to see so much consideration for cleanliness! Thanks Waste Management for the top rate service!
If I could rate them a zero I would but this needs to be seen by someone! Make sure you are aware of what this company tries to do and belive the negatively because it's there for a reason.
Worse trash company EVER and watch your account because they are liars and thieves. First they try to charge over $109 a month for trash because they "messed up" somewhere in their system and they didn't fix it till I contacted BBB. Then they upped my rate by more than $20 for "fuel" surcharges. So I said enough and canceled service with them back in April after I already paid. They now are trying to bill me for another month (their cans were already picked up and everything) plus charge me for them picking up their trash cans. When I 1st signed up since I'm not keeping the cans they charged me for them and said it would be credited to my account, well that NEVER happened and now they want to try and charge me $200 because I closed my account and they had to pick up their trash cans THAT I PAID FOR! Customer service is a joke and nothing will be done unless you're like me and bring attention to their shady business. So IF you have them be sure to check your account monthly because I can just imagine how many others they do this to that don't even know about it.
Answer: Apparently it is how they conduct business by being as rude and unethical as possible. I hope they did not steal from you as well.
